The fresh green chiles I received this time were mostly real small. They were the kind that weren't real meaty so after you roasted them the chile part was about the same thickness as the peel. They had a good taste but there wasn't much there after roasting and I roasted them quickly...individually with a propane torch to keep them as meaty as possible.

Good morning! I ordered the x-hot green chile (lumbre). Once here, I found the taste to be closer to mild than the "hot" that I am accustomed to eating. My wife and I, however, are enjoying this chile in our meals. I think the crop of this chile might have been different this year as compared to the "hotness" of other years. Could this be? Anyway, I liked your website, delivery was great, and I plan to try this chile again next year. Thanks.

The first batch, hot, I received, although I was expecting two, was great. The second batch, medium, came in and I wasn't able to put them in the fridge until the next day. I had about 20% or so that had already started rotting, unusable. I'm used to Hatch Chiles, I livedinNew Mexico for 13 years and ate a lot of them. So I know they are normally good.

I wrote you a note asking you to hold the chiles until the end of the month and you wrote me back telling me they would hold them until last week in September, And they arrived right when I was leaving for my trip, And I had to change my trip to take care of the chiles, The chiles were fresh and what I wanted, Just wished you could have done what you guys wrote me. We have always been happy with the Chili. This year we have not received our chili due to circumstances. We will be happy to fill out the review when we get our shipment. Hope they come soon!

My order was for my daughter who lives in San Ramon California... my daughter informed me that when they received the package, apparently some chiles were rotten and had to be thrown away... Not sure why or what happened but this was not the case with my first order that I placed last year...

I really do love your company! Unfortunately, you sent me the wrong product. I requested Abuela's Traditional Red Chile Sauce. However, I received Sun-Dried Chile. What do we do next?

Hi Bonnie, Thank you for reaching out to us about your order! We are very sorry for the confusion here. The Abuela's Traditional Hatch Red Chile Sauce is indeed the Sun-Dried Chile sauce. Abuela's is our personal nickname for the sauce, but it is a sauce made from sun-dried red chile. The label on the jars was recently updated, which is why it looks a little bit different than before. We understand that this can cause some confusion for our customers, so we apologize for this! I ordered 10 pounds each of hot and extra chile to be shipped from NM to AZ (Tucson). When I received them, the peppers looked good. By the time I roasted them (one day after receiving them) half of the box had gone bad. However, I was able to rescue the rest of them and they are superb. It is better, in this heat, to buy them locally, I believe.

I understand every year's batch is going to be different and that's why this years' batch is only acceptable. Nearly a pound of the chilis were damaged and rotted by the time it arrived. Hotness was just not as strong as last year's batch. Hoping better for next year!

Placed an order for chili rellnos which was fine but also ordered fresh green chili at the same time and it has yet to come🙃

Hi Linda, Thank you for reaching out to us regarding your order for Roasted Hatch Green Chile. We are currently out of stock of this product, and we won't be able to restock until later in the fall once we are ready to roast this year's crop. We apologize for this issue. We are hoping to be restocked around mid to late September. With that being said, there are a couple of options for your order. 1. We can place your order on hold until we are restocked in this product, and then we will fulfill it as soon as possible. With this option, we would issue a 10% refund for the inconvenience of this delay. 2. We can cancel and refund your order, then you can place a new order once we are restocked. I had to change my rating this time because the Sandia batch was at least 25% immature pods. The surfaces weren't smooth and shiny, without the wall thickness of ripe chilis. Those didn't amount to much after roasting and peeling. Someone got careless - or in a hurry to accumulate five pounds. Very little spoilage though. But, see you next year. I appreciate what you do.

Half of my chili’s were either rotted out or moldy. I thought I payed extra for the guaranteed delivery. Maybe I didn’t. I was able to save about half of them. For next time, will you let me know what I should do to ensure that they arrive fresh. Thank you, George Gianopoulos

The chili are great, but the customer support is horrable. You send out email one day and say that the shippment will be delayed one week because of rain and to let you know if we were going to be gone at that time. I did not resond because i wanted to delay it a week anyway. The next day you send out a email that it was shipping. I call and tried to stop my order from shipping. I was told that it had already shipped. The chili got her in good condition. One box came friday and were abe to get it processed. The next one came on saturday and we could not do it until wedsnesday, The chili was hard to peal. Dp not think I will order again from Hatch.

10 lbs, 1/4 th were busted or spoiled. Packers should care a little more. Disappointed. HEB next time.
