“Hatch Chile's has been part of my family's recipes for over 50 years. The roasting of the peppers brings back good memories of when my grandma used to roast the Chile's on the BBQ and the whole neighborhood smelled good.”

“When I placed my order I said that we would be going on vacation but the hot hatch chile shipment was delayed. when I got notification of when the chile would be shipped I sent an email that we would be on vaction and to delay my shipment & provided a thursday date to ship. My order was shipped anyway & sitting at my door step. two days later I found someone to pick it up. It was hot weather in Portland, Or at that time. the chile is still useable but not as fresh.”

“I ordered 10 lb earlier in July. I received them about 3 weeks later. There was one chille that was deteriorating, the others were really pretty and crisp. I charred them and froze them down for use during the year.”

“There are few things better than getting a box of fresh Hatch chile with one day shipping from New Mexico! This year I placed a pre order for three varieties months in advance, received a confirmation email for the order, and waited somewhat patiently for the season to arrive. I never had to follow up or ask when I should expect my first delivery - they were on their way weeks before I would’ve expected them! I appreciate the thorough communication at every step from order to delivery, and the product is totally worth it! On my second shipment I had received a UPS notification that the delivery would be a business day late due to weather, which would’ve had the box sitting in a warehouse over the weekend. I reached out to the store to let them know this might cause my package to arrive spoiled. Fortunately the next day UPS had sorted themselves out and my box was out for delivery and did not get held up for the weekend, but nonetheless customer service from the store was very responsive and I’m sure if the package had arrived spoiled they would’ve taken care of it.”

“Used to live in NM + addiction to Green Chile = Thanky for the fix!! In all seriousness, just used some in beef stew crockpot and that was what was missing this whole time!! In the past I’ve purchased the whole peppers and roasted them in my oven but don’t have the time so the frozen ones are very simple to break off and toss in whatever I’m cooking!”
