“Ordered one day delivered next and at the time gap given 0.830 - 10.30. Haven't tried the tool as yet , but can not praise the purchasing / delivery system of Tool Box enough Regards Peter Jackson June 2014.”

“Customer Service was excellent, range of products for sale was excellent, products were competitively priced in my opinion. However I am only leaving an overall rating of good and not very good as I had some trouble in navigating the website to find what I wanted. I think the website could do with a facelift, possibly a new colour scheme, something to make it easier to navigate the site and make it look more contemporary. It would help to arrange similar products together, as an example when I browse your wood turning tools and if I go straight to bowl gouges, I only see tools from Taylor and Sorby brands, Crown are in a section of their own and so are Hamlet. The latter two tend to be my preferred brands and If for example I was unfamiliar with your site and was only having a quick browse and not willing to look in every section to find what I wanted I would probably presume they were not sold by you and would move on to another retailer. Rant aside, I still think the Toolpost is well up there with the best of tool shops!”

Thankls for your comments - with which we wholeheartedly agree! We are working towards a "better" website, but we have to do so within the bounds of affordability so it is a stepwise appraoch. We'll get there - eventually - and hopefully you'll find the new site more easy to navigate!

“Peter Hemsley is a true gent, a facebook friend and generous giver of help and information about woodturning. and from the first glimpse of the web site logo of the wee maniac lathing away sets the tone of the all too infrequent humor laced throughout the descriptions of tools and techniques. and when I have phoned the office with an inquire about stock availability the team have always been well informed and most helpful, it's the first place I bookmarked when starting out using the lathe, and it's still the first place I go to for all my supplies...
