“I only had a battery fitted, I was told when I left the watch how much it would be and when it would be ready to collect. I was impressed by the attention I was given.”

“I live in Hong Kong and usually use an official Tag Heuer repair shop to replace batteries and service my Tag Heuer Link watch. Whilst on holiday in Yorkshire this month, I needed a new battery and when I went to the official Tag Heuer shop in Leeds, I was told 6 weeks (the length of my stay) would not be long enough to fit a new battery. I was recommended by the assistant there to visit The Watch Lab, based in the Trinity Centre and told they were approved by Rolex and could fit batteries in waterproof watches and reseal them to a high and manufacturer-approved standard. I was extremely pleased to have my watch battery fitted, resealed and guaranteed for a year for the amazing price of £60! This is around a fifth of the usual price I pay and it was completed within an hour! I would never go anywhere else now and I will ensure my husband and friends are made aware of this so they can also avoid being overcharged and waiting 6 months for the work to be done, in future. The customer service was excellent with polite and friendly staff. They certainly deserve the great reputation they are building.”

“Jake made the effort to install a replacement battery for my 3 year old small oval faced Longines ladies gold wristlet watch. Unfortunately on the 28 June my watch stopped. It has been restated after the movement of having the time reset. It appears to be keeping time today. I will bring it into the York Watch store to see if the battery is faulty. I return to York on the 16th of July. Naturally I am concerned that such a new watch should have s problem. I will be back in contact after the 16th Regards Fiona Howarth”

“We were visiting York when I found my relatively new watch had stopped. It was late on in the afternoon close to closing time when I visited the shop. The staff were very helpful with my request and quickly and efficiently sorted the problem. Which turned out to be a battery problem. Nevertheless it appeared to me that the staff were more than happy to help. Great staff”

“I used the Reading Branch in the Oracle centre and was served by Andy Koristas. They changed the battery on my Dreyfuss & Co watch, which requires special tools and a water seal test. Not many places have these, particularly the testing equipment. Andy explained exactly what he was going to do and answered my questions about the testing equipment clearly. Very happy with the service.”

I have used Watch Lab for my other watches, Omega Seamaster & Breitling Superocean & cannot fault their service! Would recommend to anyone!”
