“Well, I can make a good meat pie, but so tired and bored of cooking after a year of lockdown! Supermarket pies are so not good, with hardly any meat in them, lucky to find one piece of meat which became a bit of a game. Certainly no flavour within supermarket pies. So I did some research and came up with The Real Pie Company. Ordered 10 varieties. So far we've eaten the beef and stilton, and the chicken and leek. So much meat in these pies. Really tender and tasty. Plus I have to admit the pastry beats mine! Excellent and would highly recommend. Also you can cook straight from frozen rather than defrost first. Will be ordering again x”

“Had steak and kidney pie and it tasted off or the meat was well hung..Steak and mushroom was ok, but didnt enjoy it, as was put off by previous experience.Chicken one was ok. Pastry was not very crisp more like flacky pastry. Will not be re ordering”

“We have enjoyed 2 batches of the traditional Cornish pasties in the past, the pastry has been light and melted in the mouth. However, we cooked two from the latest batch, delivered very recently and we were very disappointed. The pastry was hard and dark brown, as if the pasties had been over-cooked, it even tasted a bit burnt. I had cooked them on the same temperature and for the same time as I always have, and I use a timer, and have never had any problems before. My husband cut off most of the edges of his and said he didn't enjoy it at all. We have only cooked 2 out of the 10 we ordered so far, so it will remain to be seen as to whether they are all like this or if it is a one-off. If they all turn out to be like this, we won't be ordering again. On the plus side, the delivery was very quick.”

“We placed an order for a nice selection of pies which included Steak, Steak & Pepper, Steak & Stilton, Steak & Mature Cheddar, Mince & Onion, Mince & Veg, Chicken Asparagus & Cornish Pasties... plus some various fruit crumble pies . Where do I start as they were all blooming delicious! I’ve never had a steak pie where the meat was so tender it really melted in my mouth, and was so rich and tasty. Out of all my order I can honestly say that I was totally impressed with the top restaurant quality products. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending The Real Pie Company to my friends and family...”

“What can I say but this is my favorite food company. So easy to order online from the website. Such a great choice of products and the quality is definitely five star.
