“My third purchase from them -- the first was "meat and potato", which bring back childhood memories for my mum. Second was fruit crumbles (sorry, tasty but too sweet for me). This was a mix of Christmas turkey (had one of these -- delish!). chicken and steak & kidney. Pastry is light and crisp. Order and delivery were smooth. I found elements on the website unclear and got no response to my comment there (hence 4, not 5).”

“We have started buying these pies again after we found them lacking in any gravy inside. Glad we did because they are back to how they were when we first purchased them 5 or 6 years ago. Can you have the chicken and tarragon individual one back again please? Highly recommend when on offer.”

“Great pastry, lovely meat. I felt they need a bit more gravy and the flavour of the Blue cheese was absent. Otherwise excellent pies and good value.”

“Tried the Traditional Pasties while they were on offer (I've always been reluctant to try them due to the price point). I wasn't disappointed. Lots of meat filling with chunks of veg and the pastry was perfect. Personally I found them a little on the peppery side but my son loved them.”

“Beautiful pies with LOTS of filling and quality meat. However the packaging was way too much for two small pies and so not environmentally friendly. I also found the post and packaging quite steep. I enjoyed the pies however for the latter two reasons I'm unlikely to order from The Real Pie Company again.”

“Have ordered on a few occasions direct and on qvc.New pulled pork ones are liked very much by my son and husband. I prefer more traditional. We have mince beef and onion but would prefer traditional pasties if you were to do them. You used to do chilli beef which we really liked but seems you have stopped doing these which is a shame. Would love to see a chicken curry flavor. I don't as a rule eat pies as worry what is really in them but with The Real Pie Company I am confident in what is in them and do enjoy.”

“We've been buying these products for several years and had always been very impressed until a couple of years ago when it became a question of playing 'find the kidney' in the steak and kidney pies. It hasn't got any better. Lucky to find two pieces in a family sized pie. If we wanted steak pie that's what we'd be buying. Apart from that niggle, happy with the service.”

“Steak and Stilton little bit disappointing as only tiny bit of cheese and no real taste of stilton All pies seemed dryer this time lacking in gravy Don’t like the new cooking instructions on a separate sheet of paper and not on pie labels which then you have to find every time you get a pie out of freezer!!!”

“First time pie buyers following recommendation from my brother. Fantastic pastry with very tasty and full fillings. Enjoyed some fillings better than others but that’s purely personal taste Will definitely buy again”

“Great meat pies BUT chicken pies have hardly any chicken in them so won’t be buying them again had a delivery 1 pack of boozy mince pies missing usually order is correct waiting for reply from you”

“Delivery is as good as ever with all arriving safely. Unfortunately I don't find the pies quite as good. Simply not "crammed to the crust!" There is enough meat and it is well seasoned but I would like a bit more sauce/gravy.”

“The pies were absolutely amazing - such high quality fillings and probably the best pies I've ever had! Unfortunately I had to rate as a 4, as the amount of packaging that went around the pies was ludicrous - there must be a way of using less? Pies were great though and anyone after a 'real pie' - this is the place!”
