“I echo so many other (probably) ex-customers. I have used T&M for years and occasionally had a bad delivery but I’ve yet to have a viable one this year. Initially I received a response to my emails and replacements were promised. These arrived in even worse condition, and cannot be blamed on packaging or delays between despatch and delivery. Now I’m getting no response, and no refund although this is offered on their website, in case of customer dissatisfaction. I doubt this company will survive somehow. I won’t use them again, anyway.”

“Finally got my pear tree delivered after chasing carrier pot dry leaves wilted stem full of unpruned side shoots 15" or more long Not be pruned this sprig new growth cut back and in worthless package which offer no protection to the tree 2 cardboard boxes one containing the pot and base of tree the pther stuck upside down on top not even taped together. I recently bought a tree from Pippins trees came in well designed strong container made for the job with the tree in very good condition and well looked after delivered in 24 hours not 10 days Will not be using this company again 10 days to travel less than 10 miles, to quote Victor Meldrew I don't believe it. shocking service and poor quality”

“First and last time using this company!My money was taken out of my account on 28th April ,nothing came up on my e,mail,no order number,nothing!phones are off ,replies to e.mails take 10-14days I won,t hold my breath I get anything from them at all let alone my plants.I wish I had read the reviews before I ordered ,how does this company have the audacity to carry on taking peoples money is beyond me.I know these are difficult times but evidently they were just as bad last year.Be warned !”

“We have order some Hydrangeas back in April, Money was taken £23.54 back 22nd April from our bank account, and no delivery was ever made. Sent a email to find out what happened 10th May inform someone would contact us within 5/7 day but nothing still waiting Contacted them again in June, again informed that within 10/14 days someone would get back to us! Nothing so far! I guess customer service, professionalism and pride is not something they are prepared to get involved in! We are going to take them to Small Claim Court as this will be a message they will get, we suggest anyone with this situation to do the same! Do not use this company under any circumstances!”

“Order placed on 24th April. Received 5 Begonia postiplugs but all sickly when they arrived and have not survived, same with lobelia postiplugs. Still waiting for geranium ready plants but dont hold out much hope they will be any better so a real waste of money. Have been in touch with attached photo but no reply forthcoming. Will never use again. Seems I am not the only one disappointed.”

“Have used this company for many a long year but it now appears to have gone to the dogs. After waiting weeks I eventually received 36 Busy Lizzies this morning of which I will be lucky to save 3. Went to their web-site to find they are not taking phone calls (surprise, Surprise) I emailed them with a photo of their awful plants and received a reply that someone will be in touch in 10 to 14 days. This is totally unacceptable as other companies are delivering pristine product within days of ordering. Come on T & M pull your finger out!”

“Very unimpressed with this company. So far I’ve received only one surviving plant from my order. All plug plants were either dead or only held on for one day. I’m still waiting for another part of my order which was despatched on 18 May! I don’t hold out any hope that they will be alive. I’ve not had any response to either of my emails sent in mid and late May. Do NOT be tempted to use this company.”

“Atrocious service have switched of all telephone contact and state will reply to emails in 10 to 14 days promise delivery but have not delivered tree with carrier for past 10 days will be dead by now carrier claims attempt at delivery at 22 42 hrs last night absolutely false This company is acting fraudulently takes the money fails to deliver promised goods”

“I received mu plugs in lock down, and was disgusted with them. Half of them where broken from their roots,some had come out of their pots and where nearly dead, out of say 50 plants I saved about 10. I have e.mailed them twice but had not reply. I do understand they are busy but a I paid good money for the plants so expected their customer relationships to be better. Will not be buying from them again. y money was wasted and at the moment can not afford that.”

“Terrible company. They haven’t delivered items, what has been sent was bad quality, only remained alive with lots of TLC. Answered initial complaint but since have Ignored further complaints and won’t answer the phone. Do not waste your money. We feel ripped off.”

“Late orders are understandable due to lockdown. Plants arrived dead. Still waiting for return contact. Order cancelled after already being charged. X 8cm plants received not good quality. 1xhanging basket received average quality, in greenhouse being brought on with TLC. 50% of orders yet to be received.”

“Amazing that the 5 star ratings have responses but the 1 star ones don't? Call me cynical but you have to wonder why! So on to my order if it was possible to put a negative score I would put -5. We ordered 3 things at the same time 1. 2 hanging baskets, delivered on the 24th May not properly packed so one was upside down and both plastic pots contained damaged plants. On the same day we sent an email with pictures and guess what no answer 2 weeks later 2. 36 Busy Lizzie plugs, Cleary shipped on a Friday as half dead I would be embarrassed to send anything like these. 3. Geranium plugs still waiting but have absolutely zero expectation. Don't answer their phone either”

“DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - I cannot tell you how disappointed I am. Paid a small fortune for postiplugs which arrived rotten and dead. No response from customer services yet they keep pumping out marketing emails with new offers. I think it's a total scam. AVOID.”

“Don't believe a word this company says. Ordered goods in April which stated were in stock, got some of the goods delivered sporadically over 2 months which were of very poor quality. Tried to cancel but told they were dispatched so too late. 4 weeks later they cancelled after informing about the delivery with no reasoning. Took me emailing constantly to receive monies back for non received goods. All information documented and pictures time stamped sent to the but no response to emails. All in all the worst company I have ever dealt with via online - never again.”

“Never use again. I ordered 2x packets of viola seeds which didn’t germinate. I ordered Busy Lizzie plugs due to arrive March but didn’t arrive until May and had been dispatched 6 days before they arrived and were very wet sorry little plants which have hardly grown at all albeit alive just. I am still awaiting Cosmos and Begonia garden ready plants which I was due to receive in May and it now 8th of June and they haven’t even been dispatched yet. I’m actually upset about this as I pride myself in my garden looking beautiful at this time of year and it just looks an empty dull patch of land. I realise these are unprecedented time’s but if you knew you couldn’t fulfil orders you shouldn’t have taken our money. Very disappointed customer.”

“No respect for their customers, the plants I ordered have been very poor quality or dead on arrival . Still waiting for several items no response to e/mails and no one answers the phone.But they have time to send e/mails through to get people to buy more goods .Never deal with them again and I would not recommend them to any one else.”

“Order number W9984092 Total price£73.14 Placed 9th April Plants arrived quickly and in good condition-but Basil seeds still have not turned up. Order number W9827828 Total price£115.78 Placed on24. March Petunia posti plugs. Dead £12.99 on arrival Busy lizzie plugs. Every single one died £9.99 Bare root geranium plant. Tiny,still just alive. £12.99 Tomatoe Shirley posti plug dead on arrival. £9.99 Begonia plug plants two survived. £10.99 Lobelia plug plants all died. £12.99 2 different types of grafted tomato plants and Basil seed were eventual cancelled Tomato posti plug Tumbling Tom despatch end of March ,now should arrive in June. It is a joke! Despite several e-mails since end of April I received no reply, refund or voucher. Please gardeners avoid this firm.”
