I was shocked to see I had missed 9 months of the $14.95 slip past me on my credit card statement but did call 866.292.4302 and after talking with an agent, they promised to refund all the charges and cancel the service. Although happy about that, I will say I was unhappy that the practice of this monthly recurring fee is deceptive. The cigars themselves were good so I gave Thompson a middle of the road rating.

I ordered 2 boxes of Baccarat cigars through Thompson cigar in November of 2022. I have smoked these cigars now for 2-3 years and since I had other baccarat cigars in my govee humidor which I have used for the last 3 years did not start smoking the new ones till January. These Baccarat cigars smoked nothing near what I have become accustomed to with Baccarat. Since I was past their 30 day period they would not refund or replace my cigars. I will not order from Thompson cigar ever again.

I have ordered two boxes of baccarat the game cigars lately. Both boxes were of cigars so dry they didn't hold together until I was finished smoking them. I have a great humidor and have never had this problem when buying them local or from another supplier. I am very disappointed.

This joint and their total values plus bs should be put out of business. I let everyone of my friends on Facebook know about your scam and ask them to share with their friends. I'm guessing by now that thousands of people know about your crooked business practices. My job is done here, heart warming.

Back in December I ordered cigars. I wrote a check for the amount I calculated, and waited for my order. I have been a customer for over 10 years. It's the middle of January, and was yet to receive my order. I contacted customer service to find out what happened. two days later, I receive an email, saying I was a $1.83 short (state taxes). My credit card is on file, and they just held my order and money, TILL I CONTACTED THEM!! I will not be doing business again with Thompson Cigars. Horrible customer service!!

Very different experience than most others. Always recieve cigars within about a week. Only time my orders were hung up were on 2 specials. I called, got through almost immediately to someone that obviously wasn't I'm another country. Canceled the part that hadn't shipped and refunded my money right away. It's true I've gotten some trial subscriptions for a couple issues of things like GQ, but no additional charges. Occasionally, I get some cigars that really need some time in the humidor, especially Ghurkas, and there's an occasional dud, but over the last year+ I've ordered close to 1,000 cigars. Smoke 2-3 per day. Maybe I'm just lucky, but they slay anyone else on price. Oh, before you think I know not of what I speak, I've smoke Cubans at the finest cigar bars in London and from LCDHs in a number of countries. Ya, I know a good cigar.

Thompsons sells your personal information. I have been buying from them for years and recently got an email from a magazine subscription company stating I had subscribed to one of their magazines and I would start receiving it soon. Searching online for a reason pointed to Thomspons (others had the same thing happen). I emailed Thompsons and they said it was a gift from one of their third party companies. I never authorized or agreed to Thompsons selling my information. I won't buy from them anymore.

Good luck ever reaching anyone there!! It's impossible to check an order (online doesn't help). They never answer their phones. I hano idea how they stay in business.

I placed my first order on some mini cigarillos with Thompson Cigar on 11/08/22 and received it on 11/10/22. Also, I found their prices very competitive and shipping was free. I’m satisfied and I would strongly recommend Thompson Cigar to those who are looking to buy cigars online.

The 100 pack of DON Osvaldo.natural cheerios cigarillos we're unsmokable .They were rolled with a defect. Directly in the middle are hard substances preventing any type of draw. After calling them in half to bypass the substance I was left with about 3/4 of an inch of cigar to smoke .Finally after about doing this with about 25 cigars I just gave up . Worthless and a waste of my money ,highly dissatisfied.

A total scam found out they been charging me 14.95 for the last 2 years. You get nothing in return for the money. They automatically enroll you a scam. Look at your credit card statement .

Total values plus SCAM ALERT. They automatically charge 14.95 monthly fee to your credit card. Buy your cigars from a reputable company that doesn’t need side SCAMS to make money. Certainly will NEVER purchase from them again. Overseas customer service. BUYER beware.

Thompson cigar is a fake company. can't deliver. all phone calls go over seas, not based in USA...no customer service, no respect for working Americans. A company called Best Cigars, geographically 1.5 hours away (both in the state of Pennsylvanian) delivers on time and respects the customer

Tried 2 times to make the same order and get to the end of my order and it says each time that the order did not go through and to try again. The third time it goes through. Check my bank statement and there are three pending charges for the same amount. Of course their customer service line is closed on the weekend. So I email their support staff explaining what happened and that I only need one of the three orders. I included the order numbers in my email. Monday morning I get a email saying that orders ship 5am on Monday and that they were not able to cancel those orders and they can’t do anything. They say I will have to return the two orders when I receive them. Ok I think, should be fine. Go to ups and return 2 of my 3 orders. A few weeks goes by with no refund. Finally I get a refund for my order. I got two separate refunds and both were almost $30 less than what the original order was for. So I call their customer service line. I don’t think they could have worse customer service. Each time I call it’s 30 minutes sitting on hold waiting for a operator. Then when you get to a operator, they don’t even know what they are doing. I was constantly put on hold so they could talk to their supervisor. They finally say, your full refund should be processed in a couple days. So I check my bank statement and a refund of $16 was processed for each order. Still about $14 short per order of the original purchase price. Then I find the day after the refund was issued there was a charge from Thompson cigars to my credit card for $17. At this point I’m getting very annoyed and just want to be done with this terrible company. Call customer service, sit on hold for another half hour and finally get a hold of someone. Explain to her everything going on. She says she will get it fixed, but says there is a $8 return shipping charge taken out of the refund and offers my a credit for Thompson cigars towards my next order. At this point I don’t even want to be dealing with this company much less spending any more money with them. I tell her I don’t want a credit and that I want a full refund of the difference that I never received. After sitting on hold for another 15 minutes while she talks to her supervisor She said it should be a week for the refund to process. I have zero expectations of getting this resolved without pulling out my hair. Please do not order anything from this company if you value your sanity. Their customer service is terrible and good luck returning anything or getting any amount of a refund. This company is a joke and from other reviews sounds like I am not alone in having a terrible experience with Thompson cigars.
