Very pleased with this Christmas Penguin decoration. It arrived on time and very well packaged. It looks great out in the garden and I have had a lot of comments from people wanting to know where I got it.

Unfortunately delivery over the Christmas period was extended to 14 days and after reviewing yours can see the item was delivered within 6 days of placing the order - but we would like to apologise we didn’t get it to you much faster. Ordered my items online before Christmas, after it said on the website last day to order for it to be delivered for Christmas. So I ordered my items, received the confirmation and email then a further update email to say that my order had been dispatched to the store, which was on the 17th December. However, I still haven't received my items and has no other email since!

We have checked on our system and can see that the order was placed on 15/12/16 as a click and collect - the item has been waiting in our St.Helens store ready for you to collect since the 20/12/16 when a "ready for collection" email was sent. Due to the high influx of emails we experienced over the Christmas period - we did notify customers that the response time was up to 5 working days – having checked the correspondences recorded we can see that a response was given to you by the remitted time– but we apologise regardless that we did not provide a much prompter response. I made an error in ordering and the help I received from T J Hughes was absolutely first class. My order arrived at my home address instead of the store thanks to Charlie. First class service.

I ordered a pair of pamper slippers for Xmas, they arrived in reasonable time and were lovely. The reason for only two stars is because they arrived complete with security tag, and despite using contact form on the website and e-mailing the company, I did not get a response for well over a week. After a few days with no reply I did go on to their Facebook page and left a comment asking how to return item and was eventually given a returns label three days later. The slippers arrived back to me on Xmas eve but had I not had a Facebook account I would not have had them in time. Very poor response time from their website and surely the warehouse staff should check that all security tags have been removed before sending out items.

This is the first time I have used T J Hughes on line service to order anything. I found the service easy to apply for and the payments were so easy via paypal. And the good I ordered came a few days later,even though it was on the lead up to Christmas rush. I call this excellent service and I will use the service again. Thank you Ken Bruce

Hi, I am really not happy.. I have tried emailing and have not got a reply. My order WEB17745 says it is ready for collection I have been in store two times and had the same rude lady telling me my product is not in store. I ordered this for a Christmas present and for some reason "it's not in store" even though I've had confirmation. I would like a refund immediately as I will not be going back into town and paying for parking another time to try and collect this and get the same rude lady. Thank you

Not great at letting customer know were there parcel is. Ringing cost me a fortune for the phone to be put down or no one to answer. Will never buy from.here again.

Thank you for your review. Having checked your order we can see that the correspondence that we have recorded was replied to the next day with the relevant tracking information given. We have ensured that the item was delivered before Christmas - even though the order was placed after our "last day for guaranteed Christmas delivery" date. We have experienced a technical fault on our phone line - for which we apologise that you could not contact us in that format.
