"This is not a post I wanted to write, but the company have given me no choice. I want to warn others in regards to buying jewellery from this company and their shocking customer service. TJC Style are a disgrace. My fiance purchased an engagement ring from TJC in August last year, and it had been in use since September 2023. In October 2023, I noticed one of the prongs that had been holding the stone in place, had snapped off. I took my engagement ring off on most occasions so it didn't get damaged so was shocked to see this had happened. This was repaired elsewhere as I didn't feel comfortable sending it off to them at this stage (and on their website they state the ring is still covered if repaired elsewhere). \r\n\r\nFast forward to April 2024. We had gone camping, and I ALWAYS take my ring off at night. When i woke up in the morning I went to put my ring on, to notice the stone had fallen out, and the stone was nowhere to be found. I was heartbroken. We contacted TJC who requested the item to be returned in the state its in, which we did on the 6th April 2024. It arrived with them on the Monday (8th April 2024). We contacted them on the Tuesday 9th April 2024 to check it had been received and to update the address on the system (as they still had an old address on their despite us stating several times we had no access to that address anymore). \r\n\r\nWe then called again a week later, to be told \"it's with our quality assurance team, you will be contacted soon\" \r\n\r\nWe called a week after that, to be told there was nothing they could do without the tracking number?? This was given to them by the phone and they then advised \"we will be contacted within 5 days\", we asked again on the same call, \"yes you will be contacted shortly\" \r\n\r\nAbout a week later, we sent them an email requesting an update. This was 4 weeks after we had sent the ring to them. We advised them they had 7 working days to give us an update otherwise we would be contacting the appropriate authority. They responded straight away, and said they had \"escalated the request\" and would strive to get back to us within 7 working days - the last day of this was Tuesday of this week (21st May 2024). \r\n\r\nWe emailed them again on Tuesday (21st May 2024) with a formal complaint. We have given them until today (Friday 24th May 2024), and they responded to our email on Tuesday to state they were \"escalating our query\" AGAIN, and would get back to us within 72 hours. We have requested an update or a refund because it is now SIX weeks without the ring. \r\n\r\nWe have had nothing. No updates whatsoever. I have no clue where the ring even is at this stage. I know it's still early on the Friday for a response but with their track record, I doubt we will get one. At this stage my partner just wants a refund and to purchase from another company. \r\n\r\nThe fact the ring broke within a month of being used (and fully broke away within 6 months) is shocking. \r\n\r\nPlease be careful with this company. I cannot believe the service we have received especially with the item being expensive."

“No stars from me. Worst customer service i've ever experienced. I ordered a one carat diamond cluster ring. The day i received it i noticed a stone missing and contacted customer service only to be told to expect a phone call within 48 hour. Never had a call and stuck with a ring that isn't worth the money i paid. TJC shouldn't be allowed to continue trading. Shoddy goods, non existing customer service and a very little chance of getting your money back when you don't get the goods you ordered”

“I purchased a bag for £29.99, when shown on their tv programme, thought great lovely bargin, when it arrived they had charged me £39.99, I called and they said they could not refund the overcharged amount but give me a credit, why can’t this company give money back it’s taken wrongly, the bag is also on its website for £29.99, what a con, I am sure they have done this to me in the past but thought it was me getting it wrong, now I know it’s them, miss selling items, trading standards needs to look into their operating procedure.”

“After shopping with TJC over the last few years, in the last twelve months or so I feel they have shot themselves in the foot. They are cashing in using the pandemic and people's fear to sell items at well inflated prices. The same items from the same brands were available on ebay at the time of purchase at a much cheaper price with free postage, as we found out to our disappointment. If this isn't cashing in I don't know what is. Only last night they were selling an oximeter for £19.99 plus postage. The same oximeter is available on ebay for £9.99 and free postage. Same applies to the digital thermometers TJC were selling on air today for £6.99 plus postage, the same kind of item can be purchased on ebay for less than £2.00 with free postage. On the 13/05/20 we purchased a UV sterilizing lamp from TJC to sterilize our room. When this arrived it wouldn't turn on, let alone do what TJC claimed it would do. We did get a refund but feel they're cashing in with over inflated prices on these types of items, plus things like toilet rolls, masks and gloves in this pandemic. The ethics of this company during this pandemic are disgusting. Buyer beware and check ebay and other selling channels prices before purchasing anything from this company.”

“Spent £700 on a piece of jewellery. Received it with a MASSIVE SCRATCH right in the middle (where is quality control?) Tried getting in touch with customer service to repair or replace immediately as its for a gift. Told to wait over 2 weeks and pay to send back. Also customer service hang up on me few times in the middle of conversation plus being told they can’t make any decisions or take any responsibility. Shocking experience that taught me I should have trusted people when they said ‘stay away from TJC’.”

“Overcharge on items and then do not reimburse. Use Paypal to recover your losses and report to trading Standards.”
