“Bought an Android TV box that advertised 5G networking capability and shipping within 24 hours. As I heard nothing after giving them the money, I wrote to them 20 days later and finally they ship the device. No 5G capability at all. Item appeared to work except when I loaded a legitimate app from the Google Play store, it failed to run because the device had been 'rooted'. Could not get a response to see if it was a factory root job or I got a 'returned' item that someone rooted, failed and then returned it. Now, after multiple duplicate emails from them, they finally give me a return address to Hong Kong. My order number used in all communications and on the sales receipt does not match the order number they want me to put on the package. I strongly suspect they will receive the item with the wrong order number on the outside and then tell me they did not receive my returned item. Hopeless to deal with. They cannot understand questions and come back with duplicate generic responses. I will check return costs tomorrow to see if it is even worth sending it back to them. Stay away from this company!!!!!!!!”

“I ordered a product almost a year ago. As I enquired about not having received it, I was told there were issues with covid. A few months later, having not heard about Tomtop, I contacted them again. They said that their supplier had raised the price, so they would send me the item I had ordered if I paid for an additional amount. I think this type of practice is totally dishonest. 1- they banked my payment and their treasury benefited for a a whole year. 2- I am the one who should be compensated for not having received my order a year later. 3- Their problem with their supplier is not my doing. 4- Had I not contacted them twice, they would have happily forgotten about me. 5- I have asked for a refund and am still waiting for it. They keep telling me it's happening and I cannot get a date for when. Never again”

“false advertisement please beware,the customer won't be getting the product which has been advertised,the customer will always be getting something different/something with defects on it/or even counterfeit/or a copy of the original product which assembles the one of the original but the inside components are not original NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL”

“The stuff they sell is ok and delivery wasn't bad bearing in mind it was sent overseas. However, if anything ever breaks. THEY WILL NOT HELP YOU. Last year I bought a 3D printer from TomTop. It worked fine for about 8 months. In November the printer started failing. The print bed temperature was fluctuating wildly and the printer software kept crashing citing a thermal runaway. TomTop spent the next two months getting me to run various tests on the printer, most of which involved opening the thing up and taking voltage readings from various components. I'm pretty sure they were just trying to scare me off. At the same time I was speaking with Creality (the manufacturer) who were equally useless and getting me to perform pointless tests. Eventually Creality agreed that it was the motherboard that was at fault and that TomTop should replace it. I relayed this to TomTop who then repeatedly asked me for the serial number of the motherboard. Despite me telling them over and over that there was no serial number on it. I sent them multiple photographs of the motherboard showing the lack of serial number. This carried on back and forth for a few weeks. They were deliberately obtuse and using the language barrier to evade any questions or to properly respond. Finally in late December they agreed that they'd send a replacement motherboard. When the package arrived, it was a 20p thermistor (which incidentally was the first thing I replaced when the printer started playing up) and not the motherboard. They're now not replying to my emails. So now I have a broken printer and I need to buy a new motherboard myself. TomTop is a dishonest, deceitful and petty company. If you're buying anything that could possibly require any kind of after service, go somewhere else. They are not worth it.”
