Supposed to be going on holiday 08/08/20, I contacted the hotel myself, they do not open until 01/09/20, travel republic still want the rest of the payment on the 25/07/20, can't contact anyone by email or phone, even sent a recorded delivery letter, still no help/response from them, it's been a nightmare

We booked apartment only for Cyprus with TR,,,,but we wanted to cancel the booking due to the current entry requirements into Cyprus. Despite numerous managemy booking requests and Phone calls (the phone lines are not in use) we are unable to contact them, Our payment balance will soon be due soafter reading the posts on this page i have informed my CC company to block any automatic payment request and cancelled my CC. We have used TR many many times previously and have always been happy with their service but we will be very reluctant to use this company again now.

Been trying to contact them for a few weeks now either to change flights or refund. No reply from email, phones are turned off. Not happy.

You took my money for hotel booking knowing full well it was not open for 2020 holiday season. Tried ringing, emailing via manage my booking to change to different hotel but to no avail. Your customer service is non existent!!

We've been trying to amend our holiday dates since 10 may, they do not respond to email, you cannot contact them, our flights with BA have been changed from Gatwick to Heathrow, and they haven't even notified us! And to top it all on trying to look for a holiday so we can amend this one, I cannot find any BA flights as it seems they are no longer using them,which have been paid for! shocking customer service, do not use this company.

Travel Republic cancelled my flights then told me my booking was non refundable even tho they don't even pay Delta Airlines to you board the plane, had to do a chargeback through my bank to get my money back, TR are a bunch of scammers when the travel industry is back to some normality AVOID them like the plague.

Do not use this company i was flying the 22nd of July and only found out my flight was cancelled when I went to print the tickets off they won't answer the phones or contact me by email i fly in 4 days (supposedly) this is a shambles of a company never again will I use them and I urge you not to as well

Booked and fully paid for the hotel for our family holiday to Turkey in August. It was a fully refundable booking. Messaged them in March to ask whet my options were as worried about flight cancellations. Customer services replied to say no problem in moving the dates or changing the hotel. Messaged them again in May asking what the situation is if I have to cancel and got a reply the same day from customer services saying that the booking is fully refundable but need to cancel by the end of July or it becomes non refundable. The gent also said to hold off as the situation was constantly changing so the holiday may go ahead as planned. I logged on to my account on the 1st July to find that my May correspondence has been deleted and only showing details in March. I requested to cancel my booking and have messaged several times since and received no reply to anything. I have emailed, and written to them also but had no reply. You can't contact them by telephone as its a recorded message either saying the office is closed or they have temporarily suspended their phone lines. Absolute disgrace of a company and an Insult to the Emirates group of which they are part of. I am now contacting my credit card company to start a claim back.

Booked to travel on Tuesday 21st July, absolutely no response from Travel Republic Shocking lack of customer care, flights cancelled. All customer service telephone lines closed down.

took payment for our holiday on monday to go to prague on the 25th july, ALL GOING AHEAD AS PLANNED they said. go to do the online checking... whats that? flight is cancelled!!! no communication what's so ever. take our money and run. never use these again! AVOID!

took final payment on holiday to discover flights and hotel cancelled. travel republic has closed telephone lines to customes for weeks and no communication at all. most likely going bust! avoid at all costs!!

PAID IN FULL ON THURSDAY AS REQUESTED...... TR HAVE CANCELLED OUR HOLIDAY TODAY. WE WERE GOING ON MONDAY..... 4 VERY SAD CHILDREN... 1 OF WHICH HAS NEVER BEEN ABOARD. TOTAL HEARTBROKEN. GIVE US OUR MONEY BACK, YOU ROBBERS.

I am writing to you to raise an issue about: Travel Republic The issue that I have experienced was: Booked Cerro Mar Garden hotel x 3 rooms in Portugal Algarve on 8th June 2020 through Travel Republic for 4th - 11th July 2020. I paid £2568.95 on the 20th June (whole balance) however I could cancel up to the 26th June free of charge. On the 26th June I e mailed the hotel directly to enquire about any Covid-19 restrictions in the hotel and they told me my travel provider (Travel Republic) had cancelled the accomodation that day - the last day they could cancel and get their money back. I was not told by Travel Republic that my accomodation was cancelled either by e mail or text so I could have gone on holiday arrived at hotel to find hotel had been cancelled as I had already printed my accomodation voucher when I paid. I have tried to contact them through their customer support messaging but they have still not replied and they are not answering their phone. I had to rebook another hotel as we were taking our family on holiday at a cost of £3,800 but I want my money refunded so I can pay off my credit card. I have friends in Portugal who know staff at the hotel and they said they had bookings of 30% occupancy and they were all cancelled leaving only 3%. Why did they take my money on 20th June and cancel on 26th? and no information to me. It is terrible It occurred on: 26/06/2020 This meant that I feel very frustrated at no communication and need the money back as I had to pay for another hotel.

Just been informed yesterday our hotel reservation and taxi from the airport has been cancelled.No explanation given We are due to fly tomorrow morning.My Daughter is heartbroken. We have our flights booked so we now have no hotel or taxi. I contacted the hotel to say that the reservation has been cancelled and they informed me it was cancelled by expedia for no reason so there is some connection with them and Travel Republic. We can go only if we pay the hotel directly which we cant afford You cannot contact TR only Automated Phone Message to say they are shut and they don't reply to emails. They have scammed £6000 from us I am trying to contact ABTA this morning and have put in a request to MasterCard as we have not received goods under article 75. Apperently it can take up to 45 days before we know if there is anything we can do. I have also emailed Watchdog BBc Please everyone do not let anyone use this company and lose your hard earned money. The government need to ACT NOW!!

Booked. Got an email asking me if I wanted to continue with booking. I replied "yes definitely". Few days later they cancelled. I travel on Thursday and have no hotel. Can't get hold of TR as they have switched their phones off. Service requests ignored. The incompetence of this outfit is staggering. Will be persuing with vigour the money owed and compensation for the trouble caused. Do not book with them.
