It was ok but I tried to speak to customer service and didn’t get to speak someone but have been charged for the call by my provider. Also signed up for email offer which didn’t come so have now booked but so much more than last year (perhaps energy prices).

Trouble getting details of lodges available. Went round in circles trying to get availability/costs for one I was hoping to stay at.

Basic hotel overpriced at £97 a night mid-week no air conditioning. One of the older style hotels looking dated.

It's a bit stupid really,as I'm not in London until the 1st of June,so stop wasting my time on silly customer reviews..

System is ok for booking except it insisted I use an address in the UK with UK postcode as a mandatory requirment so I filled in my brothers address who lives in UK

Room very clean. Staff very friendly & helpful. No air conditioning so it was a very uncomfortable night. Bathroom facilities very good, but no hair dryer. Location very central & what we needed.

Booking was easy until I got to putting in my address. I have an Irish postcode which autopopulated BUT I also clicked to enter the address manually. However I was prevented from moving to payment until I removed the postcode. It wasn't obvious what the problem was. And the country kept defaulting go UK. It's a hotel chain. There shouldn't be an assumption that everyone wishing to book a room is from the same country!

Rooms very clean and comfortable and relatively quiet . Didn’t hear traffic noise. However bed and pillow a bit hard . Facilities ok if you want Macdonalds , Costa coffee or Burger King - nothing else available .

upon arrival the staff were friendly and fine. arrived at the room - only one lift working. went into the room and found the heater on the floor between the bed and wall with the plug almost pulled out. Fortunately the power was turned off or the building would have caught fire! I took a picture and returned to reception... No offer of an alternative room, no offer to inspect and remove the heater which was blocking access to that side of the bed! so it was left where it was - I was on my own and didnt need that side. later I found an empty plastic carrier bag and a used towel hanging from the bathroom door! Travelodge may be cheap but they still need to be cleaned and made safe to use. will look for a Premier Inn next time I am in the Leatherhead area.

Modern facilities, very powerful shower. However still very very average. Bed I know is individual preference but it was rock solid... My spine did not like it. The breakfast (cooked) was terrible, bacon's rubbery for instance, was not a nice breakfast, especially for an eye watering £9.50. Lack of any parking, I know is not Travelodge fault but they should offer a discount or a voucher with the NCP car park that they are connected to.

We had a good time in elephant and castle central. Excelent views from 9th floor suite. I would complain on poor ventilation and air condition in the room (adjusting the flow rate didn't help much). Also I have notified the Staff twice, that I will be leaving early for the flight back and therefore will miss the breakfast. I was reasured that kind od Continental breakfast will be ready for me early in the morning however nothing was prepared and the kitchen Staff had to be woken up to prapare couple of dry bread slices, some jams and jogurts. Bad communication here and not a real equivalent for the breakfast that I payed for but had to skip. Apart from that, generally good experience. Good level of comfort, quietness etc
