“My sisters and I booked a holiday with travelup, only for them to tell us two weeks before there was an error and our booking is not valid.
Their compromise was a lower standard hotel with a £40 discount.
Being in the same industry, I am shocked at the service and do not recommend booking with this company. Now we have to find a hotel in two weeks- most of which are fully booked and at premium prices.
Avoid disappointment and do not take the risk with this company. never again”

Failed to rectify a stupid mistake on e-ticket reported by email the following day didn’t allow me to departure. Money for ticket, programmed coach, hotel , and 6 days booked annual leave, ALL went out through the the window Very useless and some of operator very rude hang up phone during a conversation. What a great Customer Service!!!!”
“I booked a flight to Australia on Philippine airlines via Travel Up. A few weeks after my booking I received an Email from Janki Kiri informing me that the airline had made a major change to my return journey and I was entitled to a refund. This refund has taken over three months to arrive. Janki has been amazing and has been regularly emailing the airline and also asked her manager Ken to become involved. The airline has finally told her that the refund has come through. I am very grateful to Janki for all her help in this matter together with her manager Ken. Without Janki’s persistence I may still not have received the refund. She kept me fully informed by email and phone at regular intervals. Huge thanks to her. Lynne Kirshen”
“Everything was fine until I needed to contact their customer services. Allegedly open from 9am - 6pm, called first thing in the morning to be kept waiting for 20 mins on hold despite being first in the queue and despite being given a 1 min wait time. Called again to speak to their schedule change department at 5.30pm but was told the person had left the office. Called again the next day at 9am to be told that this person was on a break after being in work for 30mins! Blatantly avoiding my calls all because I’m entitled to a cancellation and full refund. Indian call centre adds to the frustration of speaking to non native English speakers. AVOID!”
“Please avoid. Flight affected by BA strike. BA confirmed that I'm eligible for refund. Travelup refused to do anything saying the trip is on!! Hung up on me twice. Very rude and not helpful.”
“Exceptionally courteous and efficient service for a very good deal. After a slight issue with their website, Sam voluntarily and quickly called me back to assist and, due to my slight date flexibility, managed to get me still better prices for a UK to USA return flight ticket. This also now included check-in baggage normally charged extra for on this BA flight economy seat, saving at least a further £80! No other price comparison site could get anywhere near this direct flight deal after extensive checking. Thank you Travelup for a great experience!”
“The customer Servies was really bad they hung up on me when I asked to speak to a manager also they charged me £50 just to make one change in my personal details I don’t recommend it at all they are ropers”

I booked on a 19 August just around midnight 3 tickets (myself and my 2 Kids) for £1,100 and notices 2 hours after booking that my daughter surname was incorrect and notify straight away Travel Up to modify the name.
Travel upp has deliberately delayed dealing with this issue. They do not respond directly to emails and in order to get a response I had to send 4 emails begging them to contact the airline earlier morning on 20 August 2019 Nothing was done!!!
I had myself to call the airline (Iberia) the staff in London were very helpful and nice I was told that they can amend any mistake in a booking as long as it is during the first 24 hours but as I didn't buy my tickets directly with the airline that travel up should contact them directly!
When calling Travel up (please note they call are high rate) I get the phone put down on me!!
When I called a 2nd time same day Someone with an asian accent told me to stop calling them 20 times a day and that Someone is dealing with it! Full stop they won't give you any information!!
WORST CUSTOMERS SERVICE EVER!! Iberia airline where much better, Polite and Helpful such a SHAME!
IF YOU HAVE ANY TROUBLE WITH YOUR BOOKING DON'T EXPECT TRAVELUP TO SORT YOU OUT.
ITS NOT IN THEIR INTEREST TO AMEND OR RESOLVED ANYTHING SIMPLY BECAUSE THEY WANT YOU TO PAY ANOTHER TICKET AND GET THE CANCELLATION FEES!

“Flemming Grayson helped get us on to an alternative flight when ours was cancelled due to BA strikes. It took us a long time to get through originally and they couldn’t help us on the phone and asked us to email instead but we received a quick response and got onto the flight we wanted so we’re very happy”
