“Authentic product - I was concerned with the sale price so I called. I spoke with the owner, who is one of the nicest people I think I’ve ever spoken to. I was wanting to request this as a birthday gift and asked him if he had e-gift cards on his site. He didn’t but then immediately called his web developer and had them add it just for me! Unbelievable customer service and super fast shipping. My mom and sister then purchased one and I was able to get this beauty for myself.....I would have NEVER purchased it otherwise as I have long thick curly hair that I rarely brush, so I cannot justify spending that kind of money on a hairbrush. My husband has the full boar bristle pocket one and I just fell in love with it but it’s honestly no match for my wild unruly hair. The popular mixed boar and nylon however is just perfect. Thank you again for enabling that feature for me!!! I am now brushing my hair all the time!”

“Love Mason Pearson brushes and combs. They last for years. The brush I had for 20 years was looking rather sad, so I determined it was time for a new one. As long as I was ordering, I decided to get a new comb as well. Both items arrived well packed and quickly. Very pleased.”

“I have ordered from tressence on 2 occasions and have found the products to be at the best price and of of perfect quality,well package and with fast shipping..And if you are wondering weather or not a mason person brush makes a difference in hair quality ,the answer is absolutely!I have fine to med. textured hair and had split ends and breakage, I do not perm or color,,I was on the fence for a very long time and finally splurged for a 100% boar hair brush by mason pearson,{I owned other boar hair brushs that was much less priced and not great to get completely to the scalp and went back to a regular brush, mason pearson boar hair is much stiffer and well made and gets through to the scalp }after several months of use I have found little to no breakage in my hair and my hair seems thicker and with new growth of hair!Ibought both the 100% boar hair and the one with nylon and boar hair..very very thick hair would probably be best with the mixed bristles.I also bought the combs which are hand made in Switzerland and very smooth also do not cause breakage,I love the rake comb for after shampoo detangling..So I took the time to write this review because a mason pearson brush is very expensive for the average hard working person like myself,this is a splurge but so worth it and will last my lifetime because I will take very good care of it ..I bought the largest brushs,the 100% is called the" extra" and is the biggest,and the mixed bristles is the "popular",I also have the smallest size for my purse for touch ups in the 100% boar hair..I do not often write reviews but I hope this helps..”

But it was made even more pleasant because: 1) The website was easy to use and 2) I had ordered an extra brush cleaner because I didn't see that the brush comes with one. “Love love love the hairbrush! Website was super helpful in assisting me to buy the right one for me. I have long, thin hair, but lots of it. Bought the large, BN1 Popular. Had a smaller one before, but got lost/stolen at gym. Really missed it and am enjoying the larger size. Quick turnaround and packaged very well.”
