“The brush, for the money I paid is just, meh. I got the sensitive pocket brush so that it would fit better in my handbag and be gentle on my sensitive scalp. It is a bit rough, but I’m hoping with use, it will soften. The handle so small that it off balances the brush and makes it awkward to use. $140 for a plastic brush which doesn’t come with the anything to protect it in a purse, plus what I’ve expressed, is a bit too much. I couldn’t resist trying it out on my hair/scalp therefore I cannot return it.”

“I had ordered a comb and a brush. Only the brush was delivered. When I brought it up via email, the comb was immediately sent. The problem was solved very quickly”

“My brush came on top but one bristle was out of place. For 200$ I expected perfect condition. I emailed the company right ash and haven’t heard back so I still haven’t used the brush.”

“I love Mason Pearson brushes and just purchased my third brush from Tressence in early December. I love the Tressence company. Unfortunately, the gift still has not arrived. At this point, I think I should reorder.”

We're puzzled as to why this customer didn't just purchase from a merchant that offers the gift wrapping service she desired. We got her order shipped in a nice white mailer the same day it was placed and it reached her recipient four days later.

“I did have a problem in that I clicked that I wanted a comb but decided I didn't want it but couldn't find a way to get it out of my basket, so I bouthg it anyway and gave it to a grandchild.”

We shipped this customer's order on 8/24 and the USPS reports delivery on 8/27. Apparently the shipment was stolen or misdelivered. We have contacted the customer to arrange reshipment with signature confirmation to avoid a repeat of the delivery issue.

“Tressence.com offered excellent service with fast shipping. However, I was underwhelmed with the brush I purchased. This brush clearly does a great job of spreading sebum throughout the length of your hair. However, I was disappointed that the brush does not easily pull through my long, fine, thick hair. Since Mason Pearson brushes are supposed to be the last brush you would ever need, I was hoping to use it for things like putting my hair in a ponytail. However, the grip doesn’t seem to be strong enough. I was also disappointed that the gold lettering started to wear off after one use! I would have thought that it would stay on for at least a few years, especially considering the price tag for their brushes.”
