Great visit, met one of the best GPs today, dr Bridget Lou, attentive and extremely knowledgeable. First time using this GP and hope the rest of this practice offers good service too!

Thank you for the wonderful gathering at the carers coffee meeting this morning, it was very informative and fantastic meeting people in the same situation in caring for our loved ones. Thank you too the wonderful team that organised this gathering and look forward to meeting up again.

I experienced myself that two members of staff at reception and one of nurse for blood collection on different times were very rude, unprofessional and disrespectful.Reception staff do not value patient's time spent to waiting, experience of cancellation of an appointment because of mistake made by another member of staff. Whenever you ask to speak to manager then reception staff does not call the manager and insist to e mail the complaint.one the patient goes through with unpleasant experience then manager does not bother to come and listen even do not have an other team member present to deal with complaint.generally it's very poor management who does not want to go an extra mile to provide excellent service but can not even bother to deal people with respect but want to have zero tolerance policy at surgery for staff only. As a registered patient I believe all members of staff do deserve respect so do we as patients. Also operations Manager should reconsider and over look complaint handling procedure by listening herself/supervisor and providing a valid contact number where people can anonymously share their experience at surgery as well as to make sure that all members of staff get trained how to deal with patients and how to handle complaints. Thanks

Doctors are good and professional. Receptionists are rude and unprofessional. I was ordered blood tests by the doctor, went downstairs to ask about the date and time. And the woman at reception firstly said that the system was frozen, then went on and on complaining about people who shouldn’t be booking follow up gp appointments if blood tests were fine (which by the way it was requested by the doctor at my previous appointment), she then told me that a slot for blood tests was available in 2 weeks time and booked me in. Meanwhile a queue was forming ..if she booked me in without continuing complaining about how annoying she was about patients this wouldn’t have been resolved quicker. I mean I understand the frustration but train your receptionist at being courteous and professional to patients. This is the second time I thought I’d rather pay for private tests.

Hi all. Just a few words of thanks to the doctors and staff at this surgery, they yet again came through for me on an urgent issue I had. Thank you Dr Smith for your rapid response, best Dr surgery in south London.

Another caring, considerate, compassionate and swift action by another doctor at Trevelyan House surgery. It was an absolute pleasure meeting Dr Roberts today. I now feel reassured that I am getting the care I need given the present climate we are all going through. Thank you Dr Roberts, I am looking forward to seeing you again. M K Saumtally

Another terrible experience with Dr ARA. After speaking with the lovely operations manager in the morning we were asked to come in and see Dr ARA at 4pm so we could clarify the situation with my 14 month old son and another complaint I had against her. Myself, my son and my husband went to the appointment and she made us wait for 40 min. During the appointment she was cold, not kind, treated me like I was lying, she disregarded and dismissed my complaints, looked as if she didn’t know what I was talking about, asked me to wait outside. I wanted to be seen by a Dr who gives me security and makes me feel safe and instead I had a HORRIBLE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE with this person. Please avoid this Dr who is cold and doesn’t listen to patients. Even thought I had a complaint against her, her duty was to listen and be kind

Had an appointment for blood test. Took ten minutes for the male receptionist to tell me he couldn’t find it on the system. He was also busy talking on the phone, rather than give me the full attention. Very unprofessional and untrained. Showed him the appointment card with the name and time of the person I was seeing, but to no avail. How does an appointment just disappear? Outdated computers, software, CRM? Not the first time. Appointments simply disappear. Instead of resolving the issue, the guy was just giving excuses, left , right and centre. Took almost two weeks for this appointment and had to drag myself physically in their surgery to get this appointment. Their telephone system seems to take for ever and ever. No online facility. Issue unresolved. Simply suffer and put up with the pain. The total lack of patient care is simply astounding.

Today our family attended Trevelyan House Surgery to receive the COVID-19 vaccination. The whole process was seamless and so efficient. We had an appointment at 10.30am. We were met by two volunteers who checked our names and directed us to the rear of the surgery. Temperatures were checked vaccinations given and we were asked to wait 15 minutes in a lovely warm gazebo. Staff and volunteers were so helpful and friendly. During this terrible pandemic it gave us hope . I would say please don’t just turn up without an appointment. Bearing in mind the staff are still running a day to day surgery they are excelling and a credit to the NHS

Generally a pleasant bunch on the reception desk and a decent set of doctors, although they can be slightly inconsistent. For example, I recently needed a repeat prescription having been discharged from hospital and run out of painkillers ahead of the bank holiday. Called and spoke to a chap who said that perhaps if I bought it the discharge papers from the hospital the doctor might be able to issue something the following day. When I actually popped in, there was a pharmacist there who was able to sign off the prescription and sort things there and then. Overall a good result but would have been good to receive the same advice from everyone.
