“I agree with most of the reviewers in that Trustpilot is just a marketing platform which service providers pay for but they can (and do) remove any negative reviews, I have had honest negative reviews removed on more than one occasion but my positive reviews are all still standing ! I am surprised that most consumers don't seem to realize this. Trustpilot must be laughing all the way to the bank !”

“Allows scam artists to write false reviews for our organization online but then removed our own reviews of their scam that have ripped us off. They have removed several of our 1-star reviews for a company (WP Fix It) that we've done business and acted unethically (took our money and ran), and that company wrote us 1-star reviews as retribution. We contacted TrustPilot's compliance team and they have refused to take down the fraudulent reviews or honour our requests for them to remove our protected copyright and trademarks. Avoid at all costs, there are MUCH better solutions out there.”

“Wrote a negative review about a vendor who ripped us off, which was immediately removed and then that vendor started writing fake reviews for our organization which Trustpilot has refused to remove for weeks. Looks to me like they're running a scam of their own.”

“Trustpilot Staff are posting there own referral links on Trust Pilot and making a small fortune.I have proof of this. Bulb Energy and Pure Planet Energy are two of this sites they bombard everday day with their own referral links.They also ban others from posting their links.If I post a referral link it gets quickly removed.yet theirs stay all day everday. It is even suggested that two Trust Pilot employees have netted over £50,000 each from Bulb Energy Referrals,at £50 a sign up it is a very nice little earner for them.”

“Beware! Trustpilot is an advanced and pretty sophisticated scam-review-site. They make their money from paying company customers who are reviewed. Paying companies can remove any neagative review. So what is left is only good reviews (and perhaps a few just slightly negative ones). And even the good reviews can be fake, written by people paid by the company beeing reviewed. This is a totally dishonest site and company. Myself I vasted a big deal of time and frustration to learn about them. Don't do the same mistake!”

“Total utter junk as a review company this is th first honest set of reviews of the company I have seen, in short if you pay trustpilot enough money they will give you good reviews and remove the bad ones. Never trust TrustPilot!”

“I have a business page with Trust pilot and can say without a doubt that they are NOT an impartial platform. My Business has been plaqued with fake reviews on Trust Pilot and after providing evidence that the reviews are fake or unjust, Trustpilot has refused to remove them. However, they have taken it upon themselves to remove all the 3,4 and 5 Star reviews that customers have been leaving and then stop responding to emails asking for reviews to be put back in place. Trust Pilots system is geared towards forcing businesses into paying for their services and as a result, any reviews left for any company should not be trusted. The fact that they refuse to remove negative reviews, but have no problem removing positive reviews has a terrible effect on a business when customers are looking for company reviews. I have contacted Trustpilot several times to resolve the issues on my businesses page and have had to wait weeks for a response and then received no help at all. I have been contacted by customers leaving reviews who are still waiting for replies from Trust Pilot 2 weeks later. The service is a shambles and Trust Pilot is a fraud. They are not a review site to be trusted. And I am aware of the irony of leaving a review for them on their own website.”

“Hello Guys, listen to this one! (Long rant ahead) A customer places an order on our website, uses multiple cards to complete the order and finally succeeds, having entered a billing address that doesn’t match his card. His order comes through as High Risk of Fraud on Shopify (which is rarely wrong), so we proceed with our standard procedure of requesting further validation from the customer for their proof of billing address and ID. We email them and have no response after a day, two days, three days… We attempt to call them a number of times, but the phone line is dead. To anyone who ever sold anything online, this will look like a scam. So we do what any other lawful company would do, email the ‘customer’ and tell them that the card has been refunded and order canceled due to the high risk of fraud and no verification received. Give it a few days and the fraudster leaves us a 1* review on Trustpilot. What a cheek we thought! It gets better though. We write to TrustPilot and provide all the proof showing that the order has been refunded and that it is definitely fraudulent. We get told to reply to it officially online and to report it via the report tool. Great service we thought from our account management, seeing as we cannot actually supply any proof via the report tool and that there isn’t actually a section for ‘report as fraudulent’ on there. But hey, we follow the instructions. Give it a couple of days and we get a response, saying that in their wisdom, TrustPilot have decided to keep the review on our account as it does not match their criteria for removal. So let’s get this straight. TrustPilot are now encouraging fraudulent behaviour, by allowing fraudsters to further abuse and antagonise the retailers, affecting their online presence and reputation, also giving the fraudsters extra power by blackmailing the retailers with bad feedback. Well played TrustPilot, well played. Our care as a retailer at TrustPilot has been terrible from day 1, but this really is a step above anything I’ve seen before. I might go shopping at some online stores later, claim my money back with the bank and then leave them negative reviews. As a B2C business, we understand the need to align with customers and doing everything in your power to work with them, but where do you draw the line? What proof do you need? And why the heck would they completely ignore a report from a retailer that has been with you for over 2 years. Avoid Trustpilot at all costs and use another reviews platform”

“Trustpilot have blocked my account. and i assume the reason for this is they don't like to hear anything that could cause a negative vibe, Trustpilot's big wigs need to grasp the nettle, and try and be something that really matters, unlike the pathetic platform that they claim is so special, it's a well dressed con, that will damage the positive future of the nation. That's what happens when you take for granted anything you read on thrushpilot”

“When you purchase goods on a buy now pay ABSOLUTELY NOTHING FOR 6-12 months what it really costs you is £29 with V12 finance so unless you pay full amount you will be charged£29 Even if you contact AO.Com there staff do not seem to understand this . I do not recommend them or rate them for miss leading with the pay ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.”

“When on Trustpilot I made issues about Gmail spam!!! You can't send pictures on android phone!!! To Google and screenshots!!! So clearly they are not interested!!! Never had a reply on Trustpilot to Gmail and spam!!!! With my issues!!!!! And today it was Asian Babes, African Babes, Russian Brides/Babes!! None of these I have ever been in contact with!!! So Gmail you are aware of these!!! So stop these Scams your birthday we will give you 20 tokens! Neither would I subscribe it flags up this site is not safe!!!! And stealing your information and bank details!!!!”
