“First I was unable to access my account and when I sought support they informed me that it was 'user error' and not theirs. So I was locked out of my account for two months Then this week I received an email from the compliance team informing me that due to fraudulent behaviour, which could not be proved, they were going to open my account. So I took this opportunity to share a bad experience I had with British Gas and am still having. I rated the company a one. Submitted the review and received email saying it would be published. Then receive an email later from said Compliance team informing me that my review was being removed due to the pattern of my fraudulent review. Bottom line you are a liar and this did not happen. I have challenged the Compliance team and they keep sending me the same email, as starting to think the Compliance team is one robot spitting out the same rubbish. I have complained quite strongly telling them that I am no liar and as a company they are completely untrustworthy.”

“Because of Trustpilot I took a chance on GAMIVO. I should have trusted my instincts and experience from EBay and Aliexpress. To be trusted, a company should have at least 97% satisfied customers. Trustpilot thinks 79% five star reviews with 10% one star reviews are excellent. It is also very clear to me that GAMIVO makes an effort to push their bad (one star) reviews percentage down to 10%. Trustpilot can too easily be manipulated.”

“Awful customer service. They asked for evidence to prove my review was legitimate. 3 weeks later still no response after evidence was submitted. No point in having a platform for reviews when you can’t voice a concern over a company. Don’t bother with them.”

“Used to put all my reviews on Trustpilot good and bad until I reviewed Halfords as I was so pleased with the service we received. Trustpilot refused to publish my review and wanted me to jump through hoops to prove my review with paperwork etc. I cancelled my account. So beware do not believe everything you read on that site.”

“We are not even a customer of trust pilot and they have allowed a person to leave a negative review of us even though they are not a customer of ours. I will see what i can do about this if anything judging by the negative reviews trust pilot themselves have got.”

“Trust Pilot looks to be corrupt. A bad review is taken down if a trader reports it. If you follow their protocol - they still ignore all evidence that proves the review to be genuine. Makes you wonder who is paying who. A fellow journalist has told me they are being investigated, so it will be interesting to see how long they survive. Do not believe the 5* reviews on this site and remember the 1* reviews have often been removed and so altering any scoring system.”

“When I wrote a review about the dis_service I received from Crystal Chauffeurs I then read THE BIGGEST LOAD OF BULLDERDASH I'VE EVER READ IN MY LIFE THIS COMPANY TRIED TO SUGGEST MYSELF AND MY 80 YEAR OLD HUSBAND WERE ON NARCOTICS WHEN WE GOT MARRIED! IM ACTUALLY IN TEARS OF LAUGHTER!”

“Trustpilot removed my 2 star review of TorFX stating that the said company, TorFX, had made a complaint that it was posted on the wrong page. Trustpilot has not contacted me regarding this and it was removed on the 14th January. I would have been open to discuss the ‘appropriate’ page if they had. I have emailed Trustpilot’s customer service over a week ago to question their decision but I have not received a reply. This has certainly caused me to doubt Trustpilot as a reputable review site and I will not be using them again.”

“Trustpilot only show reviews with good high stars. It is a European company that disapproves of any negative reports as thus affects advertising revenues in which they state an item is excellent - just look at the Five Star rating. This can leave YOU with a useless bit of equipment while THEY make money from your previous Excellent 5 Star approval. A rather junk platform”
