“Over a fair to reasonable period of time I've found that using Trustpilot to post reviews good, mediocre or bad is basically a waste of time and effort as I can see no genuine consumer benefit for its existence. I've deleted my account.”

“What a joke !.. Looked at RAC Breakdown......Pages of terrible reviews followed by Pages of solicited Positive reviews ( Note nearly all MR or MRS or Dear …) The massaging of results by fee paying clients makes a nonsense of the Trustpilot site.”

“Extortion. Trustpilot is involved in extortion. They don't care what criminal organizations they are involved with. Keisha Gomes is a criminal that works for organized crime based in China and Thailand. Trustpilot is involved with this scheme because they have hidden the reviews involving this crime for a price. I'm not a pedophile. But Trustpilot help Keisha Gomes for Replicahause.is put me on a crime site and google. After investigating this at much personal cost, Trustpilot is involved in criminal conspiracy to extort money from customers.”

“This company will not unsubscribe me from their list. I have asked multiple representatives to stop contacting me and one literally started arguing with me on the phone. And then after asking him to STOP emailing and calling I just received another email.”

“together energy have been leaving fake 'excellent' reviews on trust pilot. i have reported one in particular by a user called 'walter'. trust pilot still have not removed it, but they did send me this reply: Juliana (Trustpilot) Dec 20, 14:50 CET Hi Jonathan, As I mentioned in my previous email, we've reached out to the user and issued them with a warning against this. Regards, Juliana they sent him a warning not to do it again! so clearly trustpilot are happy to leave fake reviews on their website....shocking”

“Trustpilot promoted a terrible business. They gave them 5 stars and said some nice things.I trusted their review and spent a lot of money. After not getting my Christmas orders and no one from this terrible company getting back to me about my orders, I am forced to get Christmas presents elsewhere. With it being this close to Christmas, they won't be receiving gifts that I put a lot of thought into. After looking further into the company that was reviewed incorrectly, I found MANNNYYYY clients had been taken advantage of. This is a shameful business practice!”

“I had written a poor review about a company I had purchased tiles from. This was "removed" 9 days ago with a auto-messaging saying that it had been removed by the compliance team due to guidelines. I have emailed the Trust Pilot "complaince team" 3 times since to question as to why it has been removed as I ensured that my review fell within their strict guideline, but have had no response. Ironic that a review has to be made about a company that is supposed to let you leave reviews about others.”

“I just reviewed a company on TrustPilot and gave the company 1 star. All the other 2 reviews were 1 star yet TrustPilot listed them as a 3 star company. I don't think they know how to do math. Sorry I signed in with them to leave a review. How do I remove my info from them.”

“Don’t use or pay for this so called service. It won’t install confidence just cause you problems as they allow anyone to leave negative feedback even though you can prove they’ve never used your services. Trustpolilots own guidelines state that reviews can only be left if the reviewer has actually contacted or used the products or services. They also state that the review must be within 12 months of the experience. We’ve had negative reviews left by unscrupulous people who have nothing better to do between giro payments and could prove it too. Trustpilot disallowed our complaint saying basically tough. It seems to be common practice as per the other comments left for trustpilot and their 1 star reviews. Don’t give this company a penny. Let them fold or risk ruining your business and reputation as we have.”

“Absolute trash, don’t bother using this so called service - they don’t even stick to their own guidelines. They uphold reviews you complain about and prove they are either historic over 12 months old as per trustpilots own guidelines or just outright slander and the so called reviewer has never used your products or services. Complain and they just couldn’t give a toss. Why pay for to keep a service going when they can’t even uphold their own policies. Use this site at your peril. You’ve been warned. Don’t loose your reputation over keyboard worriers and trustpilot who couldnt give a toss.”

“Comments not to be trusted. they don't even check comments ( if someone really bought a product) everyone can post on this vulture website. they just want to sell webinars etc they created their own business on painful customers and painful shops.”

“I have an account with LCN.com. Had a bad experience with them for a week. I decided to write reviews. It was up and I could see the review right after I activated my email. But today the review is deleted due to some guidance. LCN might paying money to trust pilot that’s why they took my reviews off. These days everything about money and money.”

“I had an account with Trustpilot. A false review was placed on my account. I asked Trustpilot to remove the false review to which they refused saying it did not go against their guidelines. Clearly this does go against their guidelines because their guidelines state you can only place a review if you have had communication or a service from the company. I have not had any dealings with the person who submitted the review. I run an electrical company and the review mentions things which do not relate to electrical work in the UK. This is proof of the false review. The false review has had an effect on my business. Watch this space because I will be going to court over this issue. Recommend you do not sign up to Trustpilot if you want to look after your business.”

“Trustpilot is involved with extortion. Keisha Gomes is their star. They erase bad reviews and replace them with fake good reviews for A cost. Then they extort money from you by putting you on a Pedophile watch list. I'm not a pedophile but they ruined my life. Trustpilot is a criminal organisation. Extremely dangerous.”

“My negative review of RentalCars.com was flagged almost immediately so that I had to provide verification that I had made a reservation. I provided the verification within one day but my review has still not be re-posted. With challenging my review only because it was negative, I suspect that businesses actively manipulate the reviews in various ways.”

“Scam website! They delete negative reviews and allow companies to buy positive ones. I had an extremely disappointing experience with one company which I gave 1 star review on Trustpilot. The same day, my review was deleted without an explanation. Shame on you, Trustpilot!”
