Don’t order one of the teacher planners and expect it to arrive by the start of the year. Stupidly took up the upgrade offer then get a free planner. Did that early November and given lots of promises when I will arrive. Now to be told 7/1 it won’t arrive until mid February

They advertise "unlimited access" to their "thousands of resources" if you get an ultimate membership, but they will in fact terminate your account if you do download thousands of resources, trying to make the most out of your "unlimited access". For any consumers in Australia who have had their accounts terminated, I urge you to report them to the ACCC with this link: www.accc.gov.au/consumers/advertising-and-promotions/false-or-misleading-claims It only takes a few minutes to fill out. Don't be fooled by twinkl's "it's in our terms and conditions" BS; Australian consumer law trumps any company's TOS if they're operating their business in Australia. Our ACCC takes things seriously, and with enough consumer reports, they do investigate and fine any company that is advertising illegally. If you're not in Australia, look up the relevant government body that deals with false and misleading advertising in your country. Unless you live in a backwards place, most countries' consumer laws do not allow a company to advertise an "unlimited" membership that actually has limits hidden in the terms and conditions. And I repeat, consumer law trumps any fraudulent TOS shenanigans.

I love the materials and fast customer service BUT was shocked when I had a look at the career section: they make secondary school teachers (= people with university degrees) work for minimum wage!!! Actually less than minimum wage: they force you to work as a freelancer, no social security, holidays, sick leave.... disgusting, shame on the CEOs! I am a teacher and tell all schools I know to stay away from them!

They have been double charging me for months. I’ve sent them copies of the duplicate transactions from my card. They say they can’t find my transactions in their system. Not my problem - they have copies of the transactions. No offers of repayment just continuing to charge and “my manager will back to you in 3 days” nonsense. One wonders whether the overcharge is a deliberate ploy on the basis that amount is small enough not to be noticed. A nice little fraud.

Twinkl advertising is very deceiving as it promotes over 15000 items. I acquired the Twinkl Ultimate membership with unlimited downloads. Yet the fine print "hidden" away is the limit of downloads. You can't say unlimited on the subscription details and then have a limit on the t&c. When discovering this paradox. Same day, hours after signing. I requested a cancellation and refund. Only to be told I did too many downloads on my Twinkl Ultimate membership with unlimited downloads. The message left was there was going to be an attempt to give me my annual subscription refund minus one month. Paying me 11 months back . Again another paradox as there's one month offer on buying the Twinkl Ultimate membership. Disappointed is the key word.

The work is too easy, they don't bother to do research and understand that year six students can do more than they currently assume.

Pretends to have free resources, makes you create a login, and then you find out it comes with a monthly cost. Bait and switch.

Payment Receipt not received. This is Hussein Omar. I work at Marvel International School as a financial manager . I've done an online payment to superscribe for 3 accounts for 1 year . I've sent several mails getting no reply . I wanted to have confirmation for the payment ,and I asked the finance team to send a payment receipt even asked the care team and my sales representative Mr Jack for the same issue starting from Friday 23/07/2021. I received no reply from the emails. I only get useless automatic mail replies. I have tried to make a call on the number +44 (0) 114 349 4982 the call carrier company told me its a wrong number . Kindly give me the support needed.

Twinkl tricks you into signing up in the belief you will have access to the "free" downloads but they are only free if you then pay for them.

Beware: One worksheet, I mean one single worksheet looked like it would save me time instead of designing it myself. I used it, and the quality of download was mediocre. I ended up designing it myself anyways. When it came apparent to cancel the subscription, I couldn't find a way to cancel. Twinkl makes it extremely difficult to cancel the 5/mo script. That one mediocre worksheet ended up costing me $60.

Disgusting working and poor business practices. They deliberately design the website to make it hard for customers to cancel subscriptions. Schools who shared logins, used a login rota or headteachers who stop their staff from using Twinkl were shamed at meetings. A school who sent in over 60 pages of mistakes requesting correction on the site were told to be thrown away as rubbish by the ceo. Schools from non-eu countries were purposely charged 20% higher in disguised vat. They made the website pricing cheap and alter the exchange rate at the backend, so you are paying higher. Customer teams were told to offer customers free subscriptions in an attempt to hold on to refunds. Customers paying upfront subscriptions are effectively giving out cash intetest free where they should only pay for the service they use for the period they use. They were often told to subscribe to things they don't need. They advertise as teacher made resources, but translators were effectively making the resource as an attempt to clear the backlogs. There is a lot of information security issue with the school systems they use at Twinkl. There are a lot of fake invoices or bogus sales to make sales look good. If a customer is inactive, staff were told to block their account or send password resets to prompt responses or engagement. There is a lot of discrimination and bullying at the workplace. If someone doesn't fit in, it gives hr the right to refuse support and fail people at work. They will repeatedly say you are not doing well enough but not telling or showing how. HR categorise staff into replaceable or non-replaceable categories for salaries. HR manipulated hiring practices so one could stay on their management role without experience. The ceo often praise HR for their capabilities in refusing people a pay rise. They pay people below market salary and claim they have increased the pay when in fact it was an annual increase of national minimum wages. Slave working practices are common at Twinkl, staff were made guilty for complaining for working 8 people job and told to change their attitude. They would claim they have wellbeing staff but in fact without experience just titles, buying gifts and writing out cards, gossipping about others. Staff were refused breaks after working 16 hours continously for weeks 7 days a week. Staff were wronged for nothing and shouted at meetings if the ceo or coo doesn't feel happy. If you raise an issue about it, you were told to be considerate of their positions. Existing staff were told to not to talk to certain employees claiming that they are out of their mind or not in the right state and hr spreads gossips to damage others reputation. HR runs lottery for parking spaces for charity purposes but never disclose the cash and always wins a parking space for some odd reasons. Staff complained about not getting training but a Head of HR with minimum hr experience were given thousands to spend to do training at Sheffield College because they don't have a hr qualification to lead hr. It is complete acceptable for hr to make mistakes and never own up the responsibility, but when it comes to other staff, they hide the information, not giving people a chance to correct the mistake and shame them in front of everyone. It is common to hear staff crying at stairways. People were wronged for poor decisions made by the ceo. Hr often writes fake positive reviews on glassdoor and never apologise for what they did. Hr are very revengeful and aggresive when staff dislike something about them in internal surveys. They were paranoid of who supports them and carry out monthly internal surveys to check on staff happiness which isn't anonymous and people start to see their work made difficult for being honest. There is a lot of blaming practices, politics and favour exchange. People taking out the ceo for dinner to introduce networks or ministers in exchange for management positions or salary increase. Ceo taking out female colleagues for drinks. Drinking at work is acceptable. Ego is a big concern, the ceo rests his shoes on the staff table, likes to organise lavish parties to show off, makes donations but were owned by his close friends and relatives, claims a small salary but claims a big dividend and pension, claims to help people but just lip service or for fame.
