“Avoid this website at all costs: the price may appear cheaper than elsewhere but this is misleading as their fitting partners overcharge. All the information on their website and the fitting partner I chose was completely inaccurate and I charged double the price of what I would have paid to have the tyres fitted elsewhere. I wrote a negative review on TrustPilot and also tried to contact the company to complain directly and write a negative review of their fitting partner.
First of all, there is no phone number to complain and only a form online which does not cover all issues (including my own). I received a generic response to the negative review effectively telling me it was my problem and they do not have any oversight of costs that fitting partners charge - while this may be true, it is highly misleading to claim that you are offering fitting services rather than just selling tyres.
Secondly, they refused to publish my negative review of the fitting partner therefore adding to the misleading advertising. When I wrote in response to the email claiming that my review had requested advice or has commercial interests and, therefore, had been rejected, I received an email asking me to send the review back to be re-checked. I had not saved it and, in any case, they already had it. I suspect they do not allow anything negative on their website as I then went back and noticed that they only publish 4 and 5 star reviews from Trustpilot on their site. I am assuming that none of this is illegal but they are highly suspect and I would hate to have had a serious issue such as delivery of wrong tyres or other important problem. I read the other reviews on Trustpilot and there were horror stories of people trying to resolve matters to no avail. At least, my tyres were actually the ones I ordered and were new and I hope that they have been fitted correctly as far as I can tell. I will certainly never use this company again nor the garage in my town which is one of their fitting partners after spending so much money for a simple one hour job.
There are other companies which are far more reliable and will not add hidden costs or mislead.
Frankly, they should be shut down as most of what they claim is untrue and I count myself lucky to have actually received the tyres within a week and that they were what I ordered. However, the anxiety and upset of being over-charged during a financially difficult year and the realisation that there is no recourse apart from writing a negative review on an independent site makes me feel that more regulation is required before any of these companies are allowed to trade.”
“Unfortunately my experience isn't living up to some others.
I placed an order on the 1st December for two tyres.
On the 2nd I got acknowledgement of the order and a tracking number but it wasn't until I chased that I received one. I asked many times for a rough idea of when they can be expected. If it was going to be too long I'd cancel the delivery as our car has a puncture and we need it up and running. Their response said that the parcel had now shipped and therefore couldnt be cancelled. I could refuse delivery for £25 fee. There was no indication of the package having shipped until I got their response, it was the 3rd message id sent.
There was no update or status change on the 3rd and on Friday the 4th I decided to contact Tyreleader again. . So what is going on here? Had you held it until I replied and then sent it? Again came with an update to the tracking, it was now in transit - from Netherlands.
Nothing over Saturday or Sunday and on Monday afternoon came another update. It has taken 4 days to move 40 minutes in the wrong direction from one town to another down the road in Netherlands.
Im not getting any reply from Tyreleader to what is a reasonable question. What type of consignment did you arrange with DPD for the tyres? It clearly wasnt next day, was it 48hr, 72hr, a week?
Why have they not left Netherlands in a working week and when can I expect them to get to the garage so I can book a time to have them fitted?
I've messaged them again asking for the above for the 3rd time.
Their response time is poor, if they bother at all.
They dont have a contact number, I didn't spot it before but its a sign to be frank.
This has been a week and still no tyres, if you want what you pay for I wouldnt recommend using them. Joke of a service. How hard is it to ship stock to a paying customer. Prices are appearing too good to be true.
I'll be off to my credit card company to get my money back and now have wasted a week waiting to get the car back on the road.
Not only that, but I also just had a response from leaving this word by word review through their site. It was blocked saying it requested commercial information!!!.
So they have instantly looked at the review submission but neglected my many messages that were sent before.

“Appalling service. They have sent the wrong tyres. They are denying it and making me contact the couriers who state that they have delivered what was sent from TyreLeader. Hundreds of pounds spent on tyres I haven’t received, a car I cannot drive and although mistakes happen this is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Stand by your sales, refund me or send what I ordered! Over 30 days still with no resolve. Blaming DPD who say that it is nothing to do with them. Customer service team simply don’t care. I have now had two incorrect tyres, no refund or resolve and no idea what I am supposed to do. If you are unlucky enough to have something go wrong then you are out of luck as they simply have no customer service support at all! “Incompetent service and blatant lies
Dreadful service. Ordered 3 sets of tyres, no tracking information provided. A week later one set arrived unexpectedly, luckily I was in, then received tracking information 2 days later. A week after that, 2 weeks after ordering, a second set arrived, again with no tracking update so lucky somebody was in. I received tracking for this set 4 days later!
The third set is currently missing after nearly 3 weeks. They have said it will be resent, we shall see.......
Customer service is very slow to respond and very vague, I suspect it's operated by bots and not humans.
26\11\20 update
Initial order placed on 25\10\20, still waiting for a set of tyres after a month. The first set was lost by DPD at their depot, tyre leader then promised they were sending out a replacement set and that tracking info would be updated within 24hrs. That was on November 13th, still no tracking info provided and now they're telling me that they need to make a claim with the courier before refunding me. Unbelievable, worst customer service I've ever experienced.
Not only are they incompetent but they have also lied to me.”

Then said they wouldn't deliver without proof of address and to provide copy bank statement, credit card utility bill!! As if I would send copy of bank statement!! “I read the reviews after buying 4 tyres from this company and immediately thought I had messed up big time, but this morning 5 days after ordering, the tyres have arrived. 2 days after purchase I received a tracking number for DPD, this informed me the tyres were in Holland, the day after the were in Sheffield and they were delivered the following date, smooth as clockwork. So in my experience brilliant and saved me over £100 on my 4 tyres.”

The worst customer service I have ever experienced. It’s been about 3 weeks since tyres were ordered. 4 tyres arrived. All of them the wrong ones.
No contact numbers, everything over the ticketing system. Which if you’re expecting a speedy response. You have come to the wrong place.
It’s been 2 weeks of emails trying to arrange collection of the incorrect ones. And we still haven’t even been given a tracking number for the correct ones being sent out!!!!
I have offered two solutions to getting the wrong tyres collected - including getting them picked up from my address as my dad is self employed and can’t stay home all day waiting for a collection to come and get them. Especially because it’s 2 weeks later and we don’t even know if one has been arranged.
Unlikely as we were advised within 2-6 days they’d be collected...... that was last week. Not even been arranged as we have had zero contact/ tracking numbers or anything.
Beyond a joke. For the sake of saving money go elsewhere.”

The EU law doesn't apply to them as Andorra is not a part of the EU state...in the event of any issue with them- you are on your own...these cowboys from Andorra do whatever they want...they keep trading here in the UK....if there's no problem with the delivery- that's fine...however...any problem should occur - you're on your own screwed by them big time.One of the four alloy wheels came in damaged/dented (either during the transit or manufacturing error).It was only possible to spot it once the tyre was fitted onto the rim, prior the fitting couldn't see anything as there had been no obvious damage to the alloy wheel such as a scuff / scratch / the wheel was dropped ) mishandled etc. Also its box came in intact.The lower price they offer is reflected in the quality.Also,purchased brand new tyres.....yes ,came in unused but almost 3 years old (2018-May2018 , it's September 2020)!!!! - every tyre has its life span during of which can perform at its best- it's 5 years regardless if the tyre is in use or not.I've got 2.5 years left before starting to think about another set to buy and that's unacceptable!. A complaint has been submitted awaiting for their response. As expected ,they rejected any responsibility to say , I should have inspected the stuff upon the delivery. Again , I did it , however the alloy wheel is slightly off of its original rounded shape hence this can be spotted only once the black tyre is fitted as there's a slightly bigger gap between the tyre and the rim's outer edge. 1)On 16 Aug 2020 I placed one order for 2 tyres : GITI Sports S1, 275/40R 18 99Y.On your website exactly those tyres they have been with 2 prices: one with £66.69 (lower price because DOT it was 2017) and one with £85.49(because the DOT it was more recent)
2)I placed the order for 2 tyres, £85.49 each, because seems like 2017 it was a bit old for me.
3) Instead you send me the cheapest version of tyres, the one which are on your website for £66.67,the one which are DOT 2017.
4) I send you photos and you agree it was a mistake
5)Instead of give me back the difference from £85. 49 to £66. 67 per tyre, which it is common sense, you was insult me with a discount of £5 per tyre and told me you was doing an average....
6)I did not ask for a special price for me, I did not ask for something free, I just want you to be fair, that's it, nothing else. You still have on your website the tyres which I paid £85 on sale for £67.They been on exactly same price on the date which I was placed the order.
7)So what have you done you trick me. I was paying £85 for one tyre, you send me the cheap version of tyre (DOT 2017) which cost £67, and now you are coming to me with £5 discount. So I am still paying £80 for one tyre which you are selling with £66”

“I ordered a set of Potenza Bridgestone RE070 tyres. 2 turned up, meaning I had to rearrange my alignment that I booked and lost my deposit. 1 month later, I still haven't received the other 2 tyres. I have asked for a refund but nobody replys. So I'm currently down £300 plus the £30 deposit I lost for the alignment. No customer service at all, no reply, no communication. Would NEVER recommend tyre leader to anyone I know and definitely will not use again”
