“Very professional arrangement - from booking to conclusion: The vehicles were high quality, the Instructors friendly and competent, and all the staff and processes very organised. Albeit not in exactly the model I expected, the drive was fun and very enjoyable - would thoroughly recommend.”

“It was a very enjoyable day; even my wife and daughter enjoyed it as observers. I was able to drive the 3 types of cars I most wanted to drive: Aston Martin, Ferrari and Lamborghini, with no last minute substitutes. The instructors were all friendly and made me feel welcome, and obviously knew what they were doing, even urging me to drive faster, maybe having more confidence in the driver / car combination than I did myself! The quality of the photographs and the efficiency of all the team employed there was very high. In terms of constructive feedback, the in car footage of the Lamborghini, my 3rd and final, and probably fastest laps was not captured due to a technical issue with the data-stick inside the car. Also, the silver and black Ferrari 360 had obviously "been around the block" a few times. Whilst it was fantastic to get behind the wheel of a Ferrari after 42 years of driving, the steering was very heavy, and the instructor admitted that probably all was not well with the power steering on that car. I would encourage any car enthusiast to have a go, but budget an extra £20 for the damage waiver and £49 for the photos and video package over and above the headline cost of the day. “Pros: Great choice of cars. Staff seem very professional, knowledgeable and efficient. Photo's and video available. Venue easy to get to & park up. Pre-drive course ride in a bus is a very good idea. Cons: Airfield location not as much fun/engaging as a race track. Coned out course/track was OK but a bit short. £15 for one photo print/£20 for multi-photo CD is a bit steep. Half the price and I would have bought the CD. Overall: Good intro. to a car you have always wanted to have a go in but for a really great experience go to a race track.”

“Perfectly acceptable service, no long queues, but the track just isn't long enough to get out of 3rd gear in the higher powered cars. Overall it was slightly underwhelming.”

“I decided to drive the Lamborghini and the Ferrari which was great. The instructor sat next to me was great. I was disappointed with the 'Hot Lap'. A thrill ride driven by an expert. I thought I was going to be the only passenger and sit next to the driver, however I shared with two others, I sat in the back, as we let a four/five year old sit in the front on a booster seat. I believe as we had a very small child on board, the driver took it easy and drove a lot slower. Safety first I suppose.”

“the instructor was very helpful, he gave sound advice, I was very disappointed in the performance of the car, I realize it is an older car but would have expected more than 50 miles an hour on a straight piece of road. I did expect to have 6 laps as quoted in the information I received but found I only had 4 when the ride was completed The surrounding area was very nice, and there were plenty of other cars to watch, Feel you could do with a wider advertising range as I found later people living around the area had no idea that they could book the experience of driving these type of cars.”

“Quite happy with the way U Drive conducted the day. However I was disappointed with Red Letter Days, who booked the experience, as they gave misleading information about the length of the circuit. I have e-mailed Red Letter Days to voice my concerns about the information given.”

“Brilliant experience. The arrangements were also very good. I drove two vehicles, the Aston Martin and the Porsche, and the instructors and the cars were fantastic. I also did a hot lap in a Subaru with an instructor driving. That showed me what real driving could be like! It was all over far too soon..”

“Very good set up from start to finish, very organised on the day. The cars and instructors were great fun. Only negative was it was over too fast but they are supercars I suppose! Maybe a longer track hopefully in the future. Thanks u drive.”
