It was a very enjoyable experience. The staff were all so helpful and organised. All the cars were in good condition, and all those I spoke to at the event, said they had thoroughly enjoyed their drives. The after sales pictures and video's were of a very good quality, although quite expensive. All in all I would recommend them to anyone who was thinking of one of these experiences.

It was great to drive a car of my dreams at speed with an expert instructor to reassure me. Thanks Phil !

Here's my review. Loved it. Oh! you want more.... OK, Firstly, I arrived far too early for my time slot but the girls at check in managed to move me to an earlier spot, which was helpful. Craig did an introductory briefing to get us all in the mood and give us the ground rules. The site of all the cars lined up in the pit lane is quite startling! Being a more "mature" gent, I ignored the Ferraris and the Lambos and went for the magnificent blue E-Type Jag. (This was pre-booked - I don't think you can turn up and choose the car, as each has a certain amount of time slots available) I had instructor Phil, who is brilliant. He is very calm and encouraging, and made me feel like I was doing a good job. I had 6 laps with him, and after the slow opening lap, he encouraged me to try a bit harder on each lap. OK, I didn't break any records but it was a really good experience. So good, I went back for another few laps! **Extra laps in the varoius cars are sometimes available, depending on if there are available slots, and these are at a really good rate. Most cars have video on board that records your experience. The Jag has the onboard video, but beware, the massive engine vibrates the video a bit, and is not 100% guaranteed to be perfect like it is in the smoother modern cars. I got my video and it is fine though. All in all, I rate U Drive as a very well organised, friendly venue, with cars to suit everyone, from little Minis to Massive Lambos. (I bet the mini is a good laugh!) I can't speak for all the instructors, but Phil was brill. I went from Yorkshire to Oxford especially for the E-Type as not many venues have one of these classics. One of the guys in the photo/video studio did actually hint that the E-type might not be available forever. There used to be 2, but one was retired as its value kept going up and I think the owner has wrapped it up and put it away! SO, if you want to drive th E-type.... book it now!!!! Thank you, Lee.

What an amazing day! The whole experience was very well organised in a great location. The track allowed for some great speeds to be achieved and the hot lap is something else altogether. My wife was very jealous, we'll be back soon!

Sorry for the late response - from the moment we arrived although we were late due to heavy traffic, we were taken care of by the staff who were friendly and welcoming - those smiles go a long way. The driver briefing was very informative and the Aston Martin was a dream I had had from a child to drive. With the encouragement from the instructor he allowed me to get the most out of the experience but sadly it was all over as quick as it started but I would definitely do another track day but until then I will sit back and enjoy the DVD. Thank you again

"Reality to be greater than the perceived image" this was not to be in this case. A Red Letter Day is normally a gift from someone and shared by others when taken, therefor the facilities need to be improved in the main building and to include better seating and catering facilities! The circuit is uninteresting and 'cone confusing' and not viewable from a spectators point of view, who are there also to partake in the occasion. The pre drive briefing was conducted at break neck speed and showed a map of a clockwise circuit! For me, it was more about the experience of the event rather than thrashing some car around and to this end I was disappointed.

There are a few changes that U Drive could make that would really improve the value and enjoyment of their driving experiences: 1. Improve direction signage around (and on) site 2. Tidy up the reception area - it's looking a bit shabby 3. Get spectators closer to the action. Most people bring wives, GFs, family but they are too far away to feel any sense of participation. Frankly, it's a bit boring for spectators 4. The drives are too short. Offer something longer, obviously at a higher price

I loved driving the cars. I had the whole day, driving 9 cars but I was disappointed that I drove 2 Aston Martins(the same) and 2 Lamborghini(the same) I think if someone spends that amount of money you should give them different cars. Most of the people who sat with me in the cars were very friendly, except for a couple!! I was given the day as a present. Having the Cd , pictures etc printed at the end was far too slow and if it had been up to me I would have given up and not waited. I did enjoy the day, the best cars for me were the manual Ferrari and the Porsche. I love driving.

Great morning. Staff were all really friendly & helpful. Driving instructor was really good about the fact that I wanted to savour every moment in the E Type. Would recommend them for anyone wanting to drive a fast or vintage car

Friendly reception staff, informative briefing. From start to finish, helpful and cheerful. The only thing I would say is , it's a shame you can't be driven around one lap (at least) in your choice car at 100 mph to get a real need for speed. But I understand completely why not, health and safety Tec. Otherwise good day out l

Safety briefing was informative but made fun with humour. All very well organised and good to have the option of cheaper drives on the day. Some of the cars weren't as luxury as you would expect on the inside, kind of ruined the moment of getting into a car you could never afford. The track was shirts would have been great to have a few practice laps before your actual laps. The hot lap should be thrown in for everyone, it takes 1 minute and definitely wasn't worth £10, not enough road to really feel the speed and the thrill.

I had a real great morning with the team at U Drive. An amazing chance to drive some really awesome cars in a safe environment, with good instruction. The cars themselves are all clean and in good condition and the instructors are knowledgeable and well presented. You are certainly given free rein to push the cars to their limits under guided and encouraging supervision. The track is a disused airfield which is fairly easy to find near Bicester (Heyford Park) although simple two straits and 3 corners it has plenty of space. A couple of things I would like to say, this is not a cheap morning and although I do understand the cars are expensive to run, I really would have liked a couple of minutes with the instructor to talk about the different cars you are getting into and their characteristics. (Handling, braking, power etc) I felt a little rushed to get on to the track and 6 laps go very quickly. I would have liked to have seen a map of, and been explained the actual track, Although you are driven around in a mini bus, it's difficult to get a grasp of the track from that. I also thought it was a little strange, given the condition that he is currently in to use Micheal Schumaker as an example of a lap to be proud of. (Maybe this could be updated to a current F1 driver?) I really did enjoy my experience and even paid extra for more laps in other cars to my original 4 I'd chosen. I even bought the photos and video package. A couple of tweaks would turn this into a 5 star rating. Good job guys, thank you for my experience.

Everything was great apart from the lap being way too small. Just a very simple round circuit which you complete in about 1 min. I did 6 laps in no time at all. Makes the experience a little quick which I wasn't happy about. Luckily for me I lived fairly local otherwise I would not have been pleased at all to travel a long distance for it.

The venue at Heyford Park was very interesting and different which is a positive however the track consists of the end of a disused runway and I felt that it could of been laid out to be a little more challenging as it was essentially just an oval and certainly it could of been longer. A lap could of been no more then about 30-45 seconds long, and I was in a classic mini, so the super car laps must of been even shorter. The instructor I had was great though, he talked through my driving style and let me get the most I could out of the experience.
