I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience. I placed an order through Uber Eats and waited over an hour for my food to arrive, but it never did. To make matters worse, I tried to contact the restaurant directly, but couldn't get through to anyone. Reaching out to Uber Eats support was equally frustrating. Despite explaining my situation multiple times, their support team was unhelpful and did not provide any resolution. All I wanted was to enjoy a meal, but instead, I wasted my time and money. This kind of service is unacceptable. I expect a full refund for the order that never arrived and a more reliable support system in the future. I am deeply dissatisfied and will think twice before using Uber Eats again.

#ubereats has HORRIBLE Customer Service 💥💥💥 Long Post But I refuse to stay silent about this. 💥💥💥 So for the last few weeks I’ve been craving barbecue, brisket in particular. Well on Wednesday, July 17th I’m working from home & decided I’d order some barbecue. Typically I use DoorDash but there weren’t any good options in my area so I decided to go with Uber Eats, still wasn’t many options but I found a place I’d never heard of and decided to give them a shot. I ordered me a 3 meat plate (2 of the meats were to be brisket) plus an extra side of brisket for my daughter. Well after placing the order, the merchant CALLED ME (see pic attached) and advised they were already out of brisket, I said ok no problem , do you have ribs, they said yes, cool, send me ribs & sausage. Well the guy continued to ask about my side of brisket, I said just remove it from the order, he said he couldn’t & I have to remove it on the app. Well the app didn’t let me edit the order so I just cancelled the order instead thinking since the driver isn’t there yet (it’s only been 5 minutes) I’ll get my money back. That didn’t happen, Uber refuses to refund my money, saying the merchant already made my food. How if the order still shows a three meat plate & side of brisket and there’s no brisket. Assuming I’d get my money back & still wanting some barbecue, after cancelling the first order I ordered from another restaurant which I’m more familiar with. Again I order a three meat plate, brisket/brisket/ribs. Well this order goes without a hitch, awesome, well that is until the app shows me the driver has arrived. I can see he’s in my complex but still several hundred feet from me. I CAN’T MAKE THIS UP Y’ALL! The driver CALLS ME, says he can’t find me (mind you it’s still light out). I tell him my building number, he said “well I’m at building 9” I said ok the parking lot makes a full circle just keep coming around. He then says these buildings don’t have numbers (if that’s true, how do you know you’re at building 9). He then tells me I’m lying, I’m not where I said I was at because the location pin has him at building 9. I told him others have had no issue finding me, me & my daughter use Uber daily. The guy hangs up. The app tells me my order was delivered, I’m looking outside my door but there’s no food, so I call the number that called me & ask the driver “hey are you lost again, it says you delivered but I don’t have my food”. He says I left it outside & hangs up on me. I’m on the third floor, I go downstairs still no food but then I go to the other side of my building and my food is sitting on the stairs over there. I’m boiling at this point. I’ve communicated with Uber Eats multiple times about both of these issues & they refuse to issue anything more than a generic auto response apology, I’ve literally gotten the same exact response 3-4 times so I’m going to post this everywhere I can. I wasn’t even asking for a refund but rather a credit because at that point I knew I’d use the services again but after this poor experience I’m okay taking my hard earned money elsewhere.

Ordered 260.00 worth of food for out of town guests. We waited for over two hours the food was supposedly prepared and ready for delivery when I received a text message that the order was canceled. How is this possible and Uber eats does not give an option for this issue on their app. This has happened in the past and will no longer use this app for delivery. Very disappointing and follow up is non existent.

Hi we are from tandoori kebabs terrace bc, we are not getting our payment from last two months as we were connected our restuarant with uber eats for deliveries. We want our payment from you for supply of food to your customers.

7/22/2024. This is the 2nd time drive delivered to wrong address. And 2nd time when connecting driver, driver doesn’t speak English. Worse you cannot contact UBer that can help diver by proving a translator. Very poor customers approach. Strongly suggest, at least, consider hiring a customer first representative This kills your image and spills over into your ride share which I will NEVER use again either.

Ubereats charged me for meal without me even getting my meal and my driver canceled my meal upon saying they cant deliver my food to where I am at multiple times, been reoccurring. Paid extra just to make sure my meal can arrive at a reasonable time and put in the description that I am at a military installation so please have a pass so you can get into a military installation. Wish I could give a negative star review

JULY 21, 2024: THE NIGHT I ORDERED A CAKE + ENDED UP NOT HAVING ANY UBER ACCESS (and in between I passed out and almost died). 7/21/2024 8:00 PM I was passed out on the floor when the driver was attempting the delivery. Instead of following protocol, he waited for a long time + kept calling. He delivered the cake, and left an angry, demeaning comment on my order. I was found, revived and made it to the couch, I remembered the order, went to the app to see what had happened. I felt horrible that I missed the calls. Instead, I found that comment by the driver. 8:24 PM to 8:49 PM I went to the chat to let them know what happened. They were worse than the driver. So after ignoring me, getting around answering anything, and denying helping me with reporting this after asking 4 times, he ended our chat mid sentence. I don’t like leaving bad reviews, but chat rep pushed me too far. I went to leave review and rate the order. Review that was attempted 5 times to leave: “The store was great! The driver, however, left the most rude comment on my order as I was actually passed out and almost dead on the floor. So, that was cool. And then Marion, the chat customer service agent, whose response to my complaint was “leave something in the review so he can read it and learn!” and then blew me off all four times I asked for help and ended the chat without finishing the conversation. FYI, Marion, according to your company’s policy, the drivers don’t see the rating or comments for my safety (thanks!). Sadly, I don’t get to have my education session with MYASNIK. So, on principle, and because this whole situation is incredibly demeaning, I’m escalating this as high as I can. I’m posting this on every review site it can. And I’m asking my journalist husband how to write an op-Ed to make this public. Once I was I was found and helped up, I checked my phone to make sure my order went okay and say sorry for being absent. It was a lovely thing to read right after almost dying and in searing pain. So thank you, Postmates, for literally not caring about me, your drivers’ behavior, and obfuscating every request for assistance I asked for in the chat. Hat’s off to you! Hats off to misogynist and rude driver, MYASNIK. And mostly, hats off to the pretend cheerful chat agent Marion who literally wouldn’t answer one question and hung the chat up on me mid-conversation. You guys certainly know how to go out in full style. Thanks!” The next page gave me option to change the tip. I tried 4 times to delete the tip but the page wouldn’t let me. When I left his tip alone, I could submit my review. So now I’m laying on the couch, bruised and concussed, and beyond upset. Despite my husband’s suggestion to chill out, I can’t get over how I had been treated by 2 men who were rude, lacking empathy, and clearly were misogynists. I’m saddened by their behavior (and in the chat, disregard for my disability). This is not just an Uber problem, but it was the last straw. I believe in treating people with dignity. I also definitely will escalate the issue when I feel they aren’t. As Bob Belcher likes to say, “It’s the *principle*, Lynn!” (Chef’s kiss to anyone who loves Bob’s Burgers as much as I do!) 9:15 pm Uber removed my review, doubled the driver’s tip without my permission, logged me out! They are now making me update my password to get back in! I am back to the order, trying to review and leave my comment again. It was again deleted. It’s now been deleted four times. Each time it was immediately deleted. I am also unable to change the driver’s (now doubled) tip. Also, is it legal to tip more than I approved? 9:25 PM Now I just can’t log in at all. I was not going to use Postmates again. However, I am disabled, ill and can’t drive. I rely on Uber to get me to my numerous doctor appointments. Despite not agreeing with Uber’s company ethos, I’m on a small amount of disability and they tend to be way cheaper. I used to use Postmates on a daily basis since they were beta testing in Los Angeles around 2012 for getting what keeps me alive and fed. Driver’s kept leaving my orders on the sidewalk outside. Postmates/Uber did nothing about it so I stopped using them. Tonight they were the only app with access to something I needed. They confirmed they don’t care about their employees or their consumers. It’s been a horrible night. Thanks for being a large part of that, Uber. For anyone who is counting: an extremely rude comment, rude customer service, being charged MORE tip money without my consent, deleting my reviews, restricting my access…And finally, denying an extremely sick woman a way they can get medical care they desperately require. Yay! You know how to kick someone who is already - literally - on the ground. I’m off to escalate this with Uber Corporate. Wish me luck!

Everything. Location in apts is never accurate. Driver and customer never speak the same language which is why I stopped using it. Uber needs to do better.

I made an order the driver brought me some one else's food I called to get a refund and UBER refused. I lost 45 dollars today and I was annoyed at the reasoning and process. Just disappointed at UBER EATS once again. Driver's who don't read or understand English are a problem and cause issuesike this one I've even sent the receipt with another name on it. Still not good enough to be refunded. I'm using DASH moving forward

They charged me $99.99 for a subscription. Do not order food from this business so my pizza delivery was $150. Are you stoned? Their website for ordering is ridiculous. Grifter company.

Driver sat around for 2 hours waiting for the store to close so he can get the cancellation fee, called customer service was put on hold mid sentence and hung up on. Don’t recommend at all. I hope someone that work for Uber eats sees this.

If I could give zero star what would be great. I order pizza and their driver never showed up and customer service agent forced me to cancel to get refund. Well it’s it’s your driver fault you guys should take responsibility and order for free. I am Never ordering from them again.

I made an order and noticed uber could not find a driver for 40 minutes so I cancelled it. Uber give me option to cancel but never informing about charge. I ended up getting charged with almost full and never got food.

Order was missing items and came with spilled drinks and ice cream. Uber Eats won't even refund the missing items. This is fraud and unacceptable behavior. Problems with the order were ignored. Shame on you.
