This is a horrible and a scam app. The cancellation process is so long that I had to pay for something I didn’t want because it took too long to cancel. They don’t allow customers to cancel online. It has to go through live chat, which takes 20 minutes. I ordered from a different restaurant and they are showing order in process since last 6 hours. I have no idea where my order is. No call or message from the driver. The app is so bad in terms of navigation and use. Both my orders I didn’t receive and still paid. This is a scam app. Please use DoorDash or Grubhub.

I am constantly being charged for items not received. Uber refuses to refund for missing items. I spend about $1,000/month thru UE. Had 3 orders out of the last 4 with missing items but was charged for them anyway. This week alone it comes to $38! UE is making a fortune on denying refund claims that are legit. I am going to report them to Amex. I have deleted my account!

Uber eats are some thieves. My food was stolen by a driver and I cannot get my money back. I'm gonna find out who to talk to about filing a lawsuit against those thieves.

The UberEats chat support SUCKS. The agents end chats prematurely without explanation or pass you around to their “specialized customer support team,” which is code word for passing you off to another agent. My experience with Rhic, Gerlie, Bienvenido, Gerald, Jack, Sarina and Kaidar Singh have been far from pleasant and could seriously use a customer support refresher training. The door dash customer support team is WAY better at addressing concerns, providing explanations or solutions and ensuring customers are satisfied (whatever the outcome may be).

I didn't think anything was wrong until I had to cancel my order and couple seconds after I noticed I ordered something different. I thought they would refund 16 dollars out of 20 when the screen showed me the receipt to cancel. I would not have canceled if they would not refund it. I asked 3 different customer service if it's possible to continue the order if you can't refund. Lol they keep responding they can't refund me and ask the merchant so I returned to ask them where did the money go Uber or the merchant and they keep responding the same thing that they can't refund. Seriously? I think Uber Eats just wants to keep my money. Where's the remaining 4 dollars? You gonna keep it too? What a money hungry company. How hard is it to refund when I didn't get the food and canceled a few seconds after ordering. At least continue the order if you can't refund. Now no food or money, just save your time and money and get a car 😡

This is the worst company I ever experienced. They charged you which you did not order and which you did not receive it. All the hidden charges they are making money. I am going to uninstall this app. And guys whoever had it uninstall it before its too late for you.

You send promos on e mail “claim and save “ 40 % off a 30$ or more order. Well promos do not go to the app on my account, you tell them and they say oh just contact after you order and we will refund you. Well they don’t , they say they can cancel a promo at anytime. This is false advertising and they need to be reported. I googled this and loads have the same problem .

Stay away from Uber eats they will charge you for anything you do or not do they should feel a shame of themselves I was charged for something that I didn’t even cancel the order because it representative was disrespectful and he aspired out me literally canceled the order on purpose I can be charged for it and everything else Uber you’re a horrible and you should feel shame of yourselfstay away from them

Driver canceled my order with no explanation. I can only assume that 15% gratuity was not enough. Needless to say there will never be another uber eats order from me, and your ride services will only be used in an emergency

They stole my money. It gave me 4 seconds to accept the order and as i glanced at the wrong address, it accepted my order. Then i immediately cancelled in less than a minute and they charged me $41 cancellation. I called, spoke to three people including a supervisor , they all refused to give me my stolen money back because the restaurant accepted my order instantly!!! Even a travel ticket can be cancelled in 24 hrs. I don’t have 24 seconds to cancel. B.S I will get my money back one way or another. This is theft. I canceled my membership and will never use that app again. My advice is use other apps. So basically I placed an order got the wrong one with no receipt, placed another order and got another wrong one with no receipt! Contacted them was told supervisor would reach out. Called they said they can't do anything don't even understand the point of the people you call they do absolutely nothing! Like just their to waste time. Seriously why have a help line if they aren't doing anything!?. No supervisors reached out or called just got messages saying they can't do anything without pictures when there was no area to even take pictures as an option or receipts on my order to take pictures. This app just hires a bunch of Indian students who just take the food for themselves no accountabilty towards the restaurants or their drivers! And once again call the help lines they are completely useless how about instead of employing useless individuals fix your service! I'm short 80 plus dollars on back to back messed up orders! With no level of satisfaction of talking to anyone even after being on the phone with 4 or 5 diff staff members! Not to mention one who just hung up on me!!!

Honestly, I will never EVER order from you guys ever again. You guys don’t help people AT ALL. Your customer service skills suck. 0/10!!!! It’s important to get ahold of anyone after I’ve received an order that is damaged, smells like SMOKE, cold and uneatable. Like unreaaaaaal!

I ordered a pizza the other night and picked it up right after the driver placed it at my door. I saw a bug in the outside of the box, and when I opened the box, there were ants crawling in the bottom of the inside of the pizza box. I ran out to tell the driver, who had not yet left. He didn’t speak English, but I was able to explain in Spanish that the pizza had bugs on it and I couldn’t eat it. He was unable to offer a solution, stating only that he was new to UberEats. I immediately contacted UberEats’ help line (via text-couldn’t find a phone number to speak to a human), and after explaining my situation, I was asked to provide a photo of the pizza. I explained that I hadn’t thought to photograph the pizza, as I was able to catch their driver before he left and I returned it to him. I asked that UberEats confirm this with the driver and issue me a refund of the $40 charge. I was told that since I could not provide a photo, no refund would be issued. I received no response to my questions as to whether they had spoken, or would speak, with the driver. I was a frequent (2-3x/wk) user of UberEats, but I have not used the service since this happened. I found it completely unprofessional, unfair, and disappointing.

I ordered from McDonald's a meal for two a classic cheeseburger pack. Two cheeseburgers 2 fries, 20 chicken mcnuggets and a regular McChicken sandwich, food alone was around $25. I received someone else's order. Two cheeseburgers, a spicy McChicken sandwich, 1 order of fries and a coke that was around $15 of food. Hardly enough for two people to share. Plus I don't eat spicy McChicken, the burgers were not as I ordered and no one in my household drinks sodas. Threw out the McChicken and the coke. Uber eats tells me my order is not eligible for a refund. No offer to do anything about the situation.

The driver never delivered my meal and Uber refused to give me a refund. They were extremely unhelpful and they would not understand that the driver was at fault meaning I lost my money and my meal.😡😡😡😡😡

UberEats is TERRIBLE, their drivers are generally okay, but their SUPPORT and Business Ethics / Business Practices are both Appalling and Awful. They Charge you for MISSING ITEMS, even if the driver reports them directly to their support. You have absolutely no recourse, then they blame you for not reporting the issue sooner, even if you do so 5 minutes after the order was delivered, even if the issue is documented promptly on your account and even if their support takes 24+ hours to respond back to you. NEVER EVER order from Uber Eats !! :-(

I have used Uber Eats for years now and they have never disappointed me with horrible customer service as they have with my last order. The delivery person by the name of Daniel vandalized the front door of my job by tossing a drink from smoothie king to the ground that I ordered. My delivery was pre-ordered with the notes attached saying that I am a teacher and would “possibly” be able to meet at the front door, however, if I was not outside to meet at the time of arrival to please come inside and leave the order with the schools secretary. On October 11, 2024 while in the middle of teaching, I received 4 messages from the delivery person saying that he had arrived and that he was waiting for me to pick up my order from him. His very last message stated that the app had timed him out and no longer allowed him to wait for me outside. Within 3 minutes of his last message, which was literally 3 minutes after his first message and his point of arrival (I know this because the app states the timing of everything), I messaged him back asking if he was still outside or if he was inside because I was heading to him. He never responded. When I arrived at the front office the secretary asked if I was waiting for a delivery and told me she had bad news. She then turned her computer monitor toward me and asked if I was waiting for a drink? The monitor showed the smoother I ordered all over the ground. I then was showed the front door surveillance footage of the man throwing it to the ground and walking off. I left this man a tip and instantly regretted it. There customer service agent I spoke with immediately sent me a refund but never asked what I wanted or how I wanted to handle the situation. It was never about the money but about the lack of respect from the delivery person. I spoke with 5 different agents from Friday up to this morning (Sunday) and the only thing they could tell me was to rate my order and wait 3-5 days for my refund and order again. Uber Eats, the entire Uber umbrella for that matter, has never treated any concern I’ve ever had in this manner. They have really slacked in the customer service area and it seems they have forgotten that without customers, they don’t exist.

I ordered a pizza to enjoy at home, but to my dismay, when I opened the box, a cockroach scurried out. Naturally, I couldn't bring myself to eat it. I reported the issue through the app, but since I didn't take a photo, they refused to issue a refund or even a credit. I reached out to customer support, only to receive the same disappointing response. It's disheartening to see a major company like Uber Eats, which has the resources to support its customers, neglecting such a serious sanitation issue. I have been a loyal customer for years, spending a significant amount of money with this company, and this experience has left me feeling frustrated and unvalued. Because of this incident, I will never use Uber Eats again and will be taking my business elsewhere. Shame on you, Uber Eats.
