I will never order food through ubereats again. Spent a long time trying to resolve a pickup order where we arrived at the restaurant to find that the restaurant was actually closed that day. We immediately reached out to support, and Uber support chat kept marking the issue as "resolved" in the app after pointing us to a phone call support area that didn't exist. They kept marking the issue as resolved without fixing anything, and are now are saying that they cannot give refunds once it has been over 48 hours. They stole our money, and then Facebook DMs just continue to reiterate their over 48 hour rule even though we did reach out immediately. Don't use this company.

Ordered a pizza in 2023, never received so credit card reversed it. Ordered Uber RIDE in 2024 and was charged $12.99, then $32.66 for order from 2023. Credit card won’t reverse it because they say Uber eats has all kinds of failsafes so you know what you’re ordering before you order(no WAY ubereats could get it wrong or not deliver) I deleted the app and will never use them again. Ultimately I paid $45 for a 12 minute ride. THEY ARE HORRIBLE!

Marina G in Joliet IL did not follow the directions on the order to very simply deliver the order to a specific door and leave at reception. In stead she left it on a random bench outside where squirrels, bugs and other people could get it. If drivers cannot follow simple instructions they shouldn’t take the order. Going forward I will no longer order from the restaurant bc I will not know if they have to farm out orders to UberEats whom I will not use.

I am extremely frustrated with Uber Eats' customer service. When I encountered an issue with my order—specifically, I paid for something I didn’t receive—I called for help. Unfortunately, every time I reached out, they transferred me overseas to unskilled representatives who couldn't assist me in any meaningful way. All I received was a series of repetitive responses telling me that my case was "under review" and that someone would call me back. Days have passed, and I’m still waiting for a resolution. It feels like they just pass you around without actually solving anything. I paid for a service I didn’t get, and Uber Eats continues to delay or ignore my issue. This lack of support is incredibly disappointing, and I’m using their platform in the future.

I am beyond disappointed with Uber Eats and feel obligated to share my experience so others are aware. I paid extra for a priority delivery, expecting it to arrive promptly because I had a tight schedule between meetings. The idea was that the priority service would give me enough time to receive the food, eat, and get to my next commitment without stress. Unfortunately, what I received was the exact opposite. 1. Major Delay with No Accountability: Despite paying for priority, my order arrived over 30 minutes late. By the time it finally showed up, I had already left for my next meeting, so I couldn’t even eat it. This delay made the entire priority service a waste of money and disrupted my schedule. 2. Unfair and Unjust Charges: Uber Eats charged me the full amount even though they failed to deliver on the service I paid for. Essentially, I was charged extra for nothing – no priority, no reliability, just extra fees with no added benefit. 3. Lack of Support or Customer Care: When I reached out to Uber Eats about the issue, I was met with generic, unhelpful responses that did nothing to address the actual problem. It’s clear they are not interested in making things right or caring for their customers, just in collecting their fees. 4. Disregard for Regular Users: My family used Uber Eats daily, but after this experience, we will be canceling all our accounts and switching to other services like Glovo. I can’t support a company that charges for services it doesn’t provide and doesn’t seem to care about its loyal customers’ needs. If you are considering paying extra for priority service, be warned – it feels like a money grab with no actual benefit. Uber Eats has lost my trust and my business, and I’ll be sharing this experience on every platform I can to inform others. I can’t recommend this service to anyone who values their time, money, or even basic respect as a customer.

It has grown evident the company uber eats are scammers I was just credited 5.00 on a 9.00 sandwich that the restaurant messed up I submitted pictures and all and they are still telling there is nothing they can do. I am tired of companies like this profiteering off of bad service. They stop allowing you to contact them via telephone to avoid handling customers in a timely manner

UberEATS treat their drivers very poorly. I received a trip offer where I would earn 4 dollars. Only after I accepted did I realize that the trip was far away, and I would have to spend well over 4 dollars to make it there. When I tried to speak with the support team, they told me I would receive a complaint, as I had already accepted the offer. What was incredibly frustrating was the fact that they still attempted to coerce me to go, even if it would cost me money, by threat of a complaint. This is nothing but an exploitation and mistreatment of workers. UberEATS must do a better job to prioritize the literal engines of their operation—the drivers. Other apps like DoorDash do a much better with employee support and even paying.

If I could have given no stars I would have the app prompt to bundle a order so I did and it only gave me the soda that they charged 27 dollars to deliver after I tried to cancel the order the hide the cancel option so if you never used it , it takes just long enough for them to dispute you canceling the order I don't recommend and will never use there platform to order food don't they know there are other delivery platform that's NOT ripping people off .

I am writing to express my deep disappointment with the service I have been receiving recently. Unfortunately, it seems that both the quality of customer service and the maximum wait times for deliveries have severely declined. Not only do you provide a longest delivery time limit to protect yourselves, but I have noticed that you are now consistently surpassing that time. When I reach out for support, I am met with nothing but a populated apology message, which feels unprofessional, especially as a long-time customer. Since the introduction of the second Uber Eats app, I have never been more dissatisfied. My food often arrives cold, and it seems you are hiring drivers who are also working for other delivery services, which further complicates the situation. It’s disheartening to see that nothing is being done to address the ongoing issues with wait times. Due to these experiences, I regret to inform you that if I do not receive additional feedback with a resolution and or some sort of credit or compensation for the amount of inconvenience that Uber eats has put me through over my last several orders then I will no longer be using Uber Eats for my delivery needs. I hope you take this feedback seriously and make the necessary improvements to restore the quality of service your customers expect.

Fraudulent behavior. Did not get 3 items and refund to reimburse the grocery items. Word of advice! Do not have your groceries through here. My intention is to press charges and report them to the Better Business Bureau.

They charged me and never received an item. The order shows completed with items and a charge that was not in my cart. Contact support said they'd be back shortly and haven't heard uber contact me through email. They authorized a higher amount on my bank than what was in the completed order in the app.

I had a issue with a charge that I wasn’t aware of. I’ve contacted ubereats support two times and they keep telling me that someone will reach me out through email but never received any! Also, I had to wait for my receipt even though I already got charged for it ! Service is very poor! Just very terrible!

@UberEats, this is absolutely UNACCEPTABLE. It's been 4weeks since I requested a refund for my order, and not only have you failed to process it, but you've also ignored all my comments. To make matters worse, I spoke with a representative named Jayadurga from UberEats India, who PROMISED me over the phone that this issue would be resolved immediately. Clearly, that was a lie. I’ve been more than patient, but your complete lack of communication and follow-through is SHAMEFUL. I demand my refund NOW and a direct response from you. Promotions get taken off after you place your order , wack. lol suppose to be cheaper you think , then you get charge twice in your bank statement and no one will do anything about it , so screen shot your promotion before you use it , they will get you if you don’t have a screen shot , scammers .
