I placed an order which I never received. The picture sent by the driver wasn’t even in my building. The driver did not pick up the phone when I tried to get patched through. Uber offered to refund and credit me $8, as I never got my food. But then took $3.25 off for the drivers tip m, even though they never delivered or responded.

Overall, I've had a pretty good service from UberEats asides a few issues: - Why is it that, when a driver decides to pick up my order, they then decide not to, and so I'm waiting for another driver to pick it up? I find this incredibly frustrating, and this features needs to be removed for drivers. If you commit to picking up an order, go through with it instead of chickening out for an order that has a greater value. - With a few exceptions, I've seen a few drivers come straight pass my house before struggling to find it, even though the house number's clearly visible from the road. Of these people, only one person called to double check where I lived, but why can't the drivers just slow down a bit and actually look at the house numbers so they can get it right the first time round instead of dithering for 5-10 minutes trying to find my house? There's also been a few drivers who also came the right direction, but then made a left turn down the wrong road instead of a right turn down my road, which makes me wonder if some of the drivers can actually read. - I've also had a few drivers just dump my food on the porch before going straight back to their car/bike and going straight away. I don't mind them doing this, but it would be appreciated if they personally handed me the item rather than putting profit before the customer, especially when it's raining. Also, I'm temporarily on crutches, so although I'm usually fine about picking it up from the porch, but it would make it a lot easier for other crutch users if they waited with the food in the delivery bag. - I know there's an option where you can pay to have your delivery come fast, but using the standard delivery option, it's frustrating when your driver takes another delivery in a completely opposite direction to where you live, especially when my food then takes 45 minutes to come. It's also taken this long when a driver's picked up my food, then takes an obscure detour to get to my house. If you know where to go, then get there on the fastest route possible! Overall, the drivers could be trained better/have tutorials on customer services. when doing deliveries.

Not at all happy as they stole part of my order and told me it was the fault of the shop and the shop said it was uber eats fault. Will not be using them again.

Always take longer than expected. They kinda suck? Definitely monopolized on this market. Hate them. Make life easier. How can we fix it?

Typical BS from a Company that promises one thing and delivers (figuratively) another. How can you pls e an order a de dry 5 minutes the delivery time is longer? Now a half an hour beyond the time when I booked. Just as they should be able to change the delivery time, so should I be able to change the gratuity. How about nothing fo nothing?

I am an Uber driver, and I want customers to know that the reason why your food is late or cold is because, when y’all don’t tip, we don’t care if your food is cold, or if it arrives. Our cars take the same gas yours do, maybe a different brand, but it takes gas. We can’t ride around town delivering orders for free, especially long distances. When y’all go on a job, you want to get paid for working, same here. I have noticed people will tip their servers more money, and all they do is walk from the kitchen to the table. We have to get out in the rain, cold, and traffic. Customers are complaining, but not tipping. I do know most customers who tips, get their food on time, and if you don’t have money to tip, here’s a tip for you, go get it yourself.

The worst is when driver picks up your food then goes to a 2nd restaurant for another pickup and sits for 20” to get order and then drops other order off first before dropping yours off. Guaranteed to have cold food.

My food was good. The driver was on time and handled my food with care. I give 3 stars because of those services. However, my problem is Uber Eats unnecessary fees. Example: My breakfast order is below. Breakfast $6.99 Home Fries $1.99 Bacon $2.49 Subtotal $11.47 Tax $0.98 Total $12.45 "No problems" Then Uber add additional charges. Service Fee $2.00😕 The restaurant should be charged the service fee. I mean Uber is delivering their food🤷🏽 Delivery Fee $3.49😕 No problem but how much of that delivery fee does the driver get? Total $5.49 in addition to the $12.45 above. As gratitude one must tip the Delivery person. Tip $1.00....The Delivery driver can't get a better tip because of the $5.49 extra charge🤦🏾 Now the Total $18.94 for a Breakfast that actually cost $12.45 "difference $6.49 minus $1 tip given to the driver". I just wonder how much money the drivers earn hourly. Because from a consumer stand point Uber fees are making it difficult for drivers to be compensated properly. I smell GREED🤷🏽

Over 30 minutes late. Not the driver fault the service. He was waiting for awhile! No way to get a refund or complain.

I tried to order subway and it canceled my order. I made 2 more attempts at 2 other locations and it canceled those as well. I went to doordash and my order was accepted. Idk if that was a glitch but I'm even more hungry and my time was wasted.

Ridiculous delivery fees for something that should only be 30minutes, ends up turning into an hour.

Our order was correct, however, it took too long to arrive. The driver delivered another order on the way to us. Our food arrived cold as a result, so it was rather, meh.

I am an uber eats driver. I think a lot of people who order through uber eats don't understand certain things. First thing is that most restaurants seal the bags so the driver is unable to check to see if your order is complete. Sometimes our app doesn't show everything in the order such as drinks so even if we ask about drinks if the restaurant doesn't give them to us we might not know we're suppose to have them. When orders take a long time to be delivered it probably in most cases isn't the driver's fault. Like yesterday I went to pick up an order from McDonald's and the customer had ordered 25 pies so because the restaurant didn't know how to use the app properly I sat waiting while they made all of the pies about 40 minutes. Normally I would have cancelled the delivery but the restaurant service was so poor and the staff so rude I sat there thinking the order would be ready soon. Another reason the delivery might take longer is if it's a multiple order delivery where you are picking up from two restaurants for two customers then delivering them. Or there might be a lack of drivers in the area to make the delivery. There might be an accident and you get stuck so your delivery might get delayed. Yes I get it that it makes you angry when your food is delayed but these delays also cost your diver money so most drivers are trying to get you your food as quickly as possible. Most of my deliveries are okay but if customers understood that giving vague descriptions like go through a wooden door and to the left when it should be right or there is a whole maze of Apts poorly marked it makes it tough on the driver. Those descriptions might seem helpful to you but you are familiar with them we are not. If you as a customer living in a secure buildingand you know that you need a special fob to use the elevator why would you expect the diver deliver to your door when they can't get access to the elevator unless by chance another resident is willing to help? Or if you live in a busy city with really limited street parking and you live on a super busy street it's tough finding parking. Yes I know we as drivers take on this responsibility but please understand that we are really trying to give you great customer service. We're dealing with poor restaurant service, traffic and driving sometimes to unfamiliar areas, and at times very unfriendly people. Overall my customers are great most restaurants are easy to work with. If you get great service please tip I know it's not required but that's basically where the driver actually makes their money because uber takes their share out of the delivery charge you pay so we're not making all that much otherwise.

I agree with this multiple order algorythm thing, i watched my delivery route on the map, drivers were passing order to each other... and when the driver arrived he was looking around in the street so i shouted from the door step: here!! But he was still slow so i said smilling: come on man its going to be cold and obviously said thank you when he passed the food onto me. But apparently it was too much for him: as he asked me what is wrong with my attitude. I regret not knowing his name as id like to tell him that i was gratefull that he finnally brought it and it was still warm. Cheers man! Don't take everything to yourself. Its just a job, you deliver i collect- no need for other philosophy. You were great obviously!!! But, to be honest... after experiencing his attitude as he was from different culture (i should stand out there asking about his family in the other continent, giving him 100 Pound tip, and making sure he left satisfied with my attitude) ill think twice before ordering again.

I'm not happy. So I'm gonna tell you the truth. It's great cause your can order from places that normally don't deliver even though the food and taxes are ridiculously priced, but the delays have happened a bit too often then i get cold food and that certainly doesn't make me happy!!

During the Covid19 .. Many Drive-Thru restaurants do not have a separated setting for pickups. Drivers are asked to be in the line together with regular customers. Adding between 15 to 30 minutes to deliveries. Thanks to this, a single delivery will take around 45-60 minutes. Drivers get paid between $3 to $5 per delivery that will become around $2 - $3 after car’s expenses. We can get a tip, but who wants to give a tip if meal arrives late, and maybe cold? Example of these restaurantes: TacoBell, some Starbucks, KFC, WhiteCastle, and other. The solution to this is so easy. Just setup a table by the front door for pickups. This way restaurantes do not have to keep the front door open, and deliveries will be completed on time.

Up to this point my experience had been ok. A mix up with the tip and a request for a refund of $2.31 is the issue. Spoke to customer service twice and to date, have not seen a nickel.

Uber eats is a good initiative for people working in offices and dont want to eat from their office mess or the same tiffin vaala. So its just easy to order from the app and get the food delivered. They also initiate a refund if the food was not cooked properly or it was not on time. Not only for workers its also a life saver for bachelors those who live away from home. So all together its a good experience. It can still be better in many ways so that why giving 3 stars.

I enjoy having an alternative for having to go out and get food but I don’t enjoy how much they jack up the prices. UberEATS would be way better if it wasn’t so expensive.
