Useless customer service. Totally undependable. Orders canceled last second for no explained reason.

Uber Eats policy on refunds is the stupidest policy I've ever experienced. The customer service team is unhelpful and is almost impossible to speak to a supervisor. I used the app for the last time today. I deleted all of my accounts and will not be coming back as a customer or a driver. I made an oder at Papa John's Pizza for a total of over $40. As I placed the order a pop-up came across the screen that says," You appear to be very far away from the address." Before I could even touch the screen another pop-up says my order was placed without my confirmation mind you. I realized I had made the order for the wrong delivery address and that also means the wrong Papa John's has my order. I try to change addresses but I'm not allowed on the app now. It's too late so I have to cancel the order. They end up charging me $25 cancelation fee and it's nonrefundable. I've talked to customer service and they explained that because the Papa John's had already accepted the order that they had already prepared the order so I would have to pay for that even though I wasn't receiving the food. I think that's a ridiculous policy but lesson learned and I will not be letting this happen to me again. As an over the road truck driver I get food in many different places and they just lost me as a customer 👋.

Ubereats have zero regard for their customers or the restaurants With their multiple deliveries ypu have to pay $5 to not have cold inedible food. It is morally wrong. Disgusting

So their delivery driver gets a flat tire cont you tells you that they can’t deliver your order. you can’t cancel your order. They just charge you. Forget about contacting customer service they will not help you at all. They sucks I cannot believe that they’re still in business. I will be contacting Better Business Bureau and reporting them

Uber Eats has a terrible policy regarding customer refunds. I placed an order at Ayoka, but the address was incorrect, so I canceled it right away. The total was $77.45, and they deducted about $12 something leaving a balance of $67.22. However, Uber Eats claimed they couldn't refund my money for food I never received. Isn't that essentially stealing? They said it's their policy, but that's a ridiculous policy, and it really feels like theft

DO NOT USE UBER EATS My Uber eats driver delivered to the wrong house. I have tried for 3 days to contact uber support. They responded via email and said it was not eligible for refund because it was over 48 hours when I have been contacting uber support since the time of the order. The picture they provided is NOT MY HOUSE

Absolutely worst food delivery service out there. Poorest customer service ever. Issues never get resolved. Tried via email, chat and phone! Nearly $50 on food that sat on a shelve in the restaurant ready for over two hours. This food is no longer safe to eat! Three different delivery people and it still took over two hours. Complaining was ZERO help and they refused to refund. Said I’d hear back from an escalation department. Never did! Money wasted. Will never use them again! Crooked company.

Uber eats is such a big scam. The company is inconsiderate and put consumers last above their gains. I ordered items from Walmart. Unfortunately I clicked the wrong address from the multiple addresses I have. The driver called when he arrived but it was the wrong address only 5mins away. He was not allowed to bring me the items. I told the driver I can pick the items up myself however he wasn’t allowed by Uber eats for me to drive to get them back. I asked for refund and they refused to refund my money back. I asked the support team to let me know where my items are so I can get them myself however they refused and informed me it’s their policy not for me to receive my items back either. I’ve been back and forth with them and their last message is they will not touch the matter again however I can’t get refund or my items back and they won’t respond back anymore. This is my first time using their service and I’m surprised of this policy. No matter where you make a purchase, if you are not able to get a refund at least the merchant allow you to take your items/purchase. Uber eats is a huge scam and only think about themselves. I am astonished that such a poor service exist. Costumers be aware

They are SO BAD. Criminal. Fraudulent. I would report them EVERYWHERE. Also, your bank knows they are fraudulent and will remove the charge. At least my bank does. I didn’t get my order and still paid for it. Customer service is sooo bad. Like, humiliatingly bad. They will keep stalling, ask you to explain over and over, tell you that you will hear back in 6-12 hours. You won’t. They will say you need to keep waiting and then tell you too much time has passed for a refund. It’s honestly just easier to go to the bank and report them for fraudulent charges.

Order one Chinese meal. Got about two or three. Sounds like a great coincidence. I reported it. Sent pictures and receipt clearly showing that it’s not what I ordered. They just wrote me back saying it is what I ordered. Screw. This place DoorDash is better.

I order twice and never got my order nor did i even get a refynd fir the orders that i have not gotten I am shocked that a company as big as Uber can just casually scam its customers I tried to contact Uber through email 10 different times and never got the help i needed

Last straw with this company. Tonight I order from a restaurant, the quality was super poor and I was missing items in my order. Instead of giving my full refund back for the missing items, they refunded me far less. I whenever order from Uber Eats again.

Uber Eats is taking advantage of customers, especially vulnerable individuals like my elderly mother. Recently, she placed a $50 order that, with fees, was already overpriced. The delivery driver mistakenly took her food to a hospital, despite her being at home. When she called to correct the issue, the driver canceled the order and kept the food. To make matters worse, Uber Eats refused to issue a refund, provide a gift card, or reorder the food, claiming the restaurant had already been paid. In these tough times, refusing to refund or assist customers is unacceptable. This experience has shown me how unreliable and exploitative Uber Eats can be. Never again.

Worse than Skip the Dishes Had placed an order and paid for priority delivery. One driver picked up the order, dropped the order after 20 minutes. Another driver picked up the order, and finally delivered it. Keep in mind, placed the order over an hour before it was delivered, and this is priority delivery. By the time we got our food, everything was ice cold. We ordered from our local Wendy’s, the order was missing all the fries and the large frosty that was ordered and paid for. When customer support was alerted about the cold food and missing items, we were told the don’t give refunds for the temperature quality of the food, then offered a $2.00 refund for all of the missing fries and the the missing large frosty. Customer service agent dropped the call before the issue was even resolved. Upon contacting customer service again, I ended up with the same person I got the first time. He refused to answer me for 5 minutes, the whole ordeal ended up where we got nothing but ice cold food, missing items and left the chat with NO refund at all for anything, not even any of the missing items.
