What the heck! I am home with covid and two hours after ordering dinner to be delivered, it is cancelled by ubereats! For the last hour, the app showed that the driver was 10 minutes away. The restaurant is only 10-15 minutes from my house. This is insane!

I place an order on the mcdonalds app on the 9th of September 2023, put on location and the right number and Street came up but for some reason a completely different city can up wich was Brixton which wasnt where I'm based am on the other side of the country which was Failsworth in Manchester. when I noticed 1 second after placing the order I tried cancelling the order in which for some reason i couldnt, I tried contacting the restaurant directly they couldn't do anything, mcdonalds services they couldn't do anything and ubereats where apparently they couldn't do anything it has really put me off ordering from the app now and ordering from ubereats aswell as i spent 38.7 and had no way to cancel the order literally straight after. I saved up all week so me and my family could have a treat. Unfortunately i had no more money to place the order again. As you can imagine my two daughters 7years, 3 year and my niece 3years old where very upset. I have no idea how this happened as it should of gone of my location i find this very annoying as it was literally 1second after I ordered this needs to be addressed and a easier was to cancel the order. To me this has been stolen as I never received my order!!!!

Didn't get my order and customer service refused a credit or refund. This is fraud and theft ! My bank is handling it.

UberEATS has the worst customer service team. There are significant price changes on final receipt compared to the order placed. They remove the promo discounts and then ask for screenshots to prove that promo was applied. Even when screen shots are provided they try to evade responsibility by asking for unnecessary details. Placing an order is a painful experience, as one needs to take screenshot of each item and final order details to ensure Uber is not messing up the final charges.

I have just gotten off the phone with your support staff. 3 times in one week, I was overcharged, not receiving the 2 for 1 discount advertised for Sunny Jims in Pittsburgh, PA. After finding this, I went back and found I have been overcharged TWELVE TIMES from Sunny Jims since August 2, 2023, not once getting the 2 for 1 promotion price. If you look at my account you will see I use your service 7 days a week, sometimes twice in one day. Your rep tells me there will be no refund of the $120.00 stolen from me in little more than a month, as those transactions are more than 48 hours old. It appears that Uber may be doing this intentionally to steal from a loyal customer. Is this how you reward me for spending thousands of dollars with Uber? The last insult was the rep I chatted to refusing to send me higher up the chain of command. Thoroughly disgusted,

Some of The Rucksack Bags that they deliver our are food in are so grubby & dirty & so I wonder what the inside is like!! I see 'bike riders' waiting outside McDonald's, German Doner Kebab, Taco Bell, Popeyes & More (Powis Street. Woolwich SE18 6LQ) & some of the Rucksacks are so grubby & dirty. Do they ever clean the insides of these Rucksack Bags ?

SLOW, TOOK MY MONEY AFTER CANCELLING THE ORDER AND THEY DIDNT EVEN PAY THE MONEY THEY CHARGED FOR THE FOOD TO THE RESTAURANT

The driver confirmed a grocery collection and then didn't move on the tracker for over an hour!!!! It looks like the driver was outside their home, as it is residential street and not road that would have traffic on it for OVER AN HOUR!!!!! Messaged the driver, no response!!!! Called uber eats support, got passed round to 4 different people having to repeat my same problem only for them to put the phone down on me!!!! They then called me back and hung up on me, as soon as answered. (Was in "great" signal area). The offer of a £5 credit is unsatisfactory for the service received today. Really unhappy and not what I expect. I want someone from the Uber eats team to contact me immediately.

Someone from Brooklyn tried using my debit card to order food. I don’t or never been to ny I have my debit card with me which is a new debit card so idk how they did it

As a driver for Uber eats I have to say that I would not recommend working for them. I now know why you have to give your birthdate to get ahold of a CS representative because working for them you are just a number. I’ve worked up to platinum status with a very high customer rating and time because I care about the people I serve. Needless to say I’m quitting this company because of how their foreign agents handled my problem with a restaurant. It was 11:30pm when I took an order showing that it would take me almost an hour to deliver the order placed including time waiting for it but they would pay me $26 and a possible tip. So I took the order. After arriving at the restaurant there was a very long line. There were 5 drivers, 2 Ubers and 3 Dashers waiting for their orders. They were in line and then parked when a girl came out to address the placed orders. After speaking with her, she then told us all to get back in line and go to the speaker to get our orders made. I was astounded! The other drivers laughed and said the heck with this, we aren’t waiting for anyone’s order that long and canceled the orders ( which is probably what I should’ve done) but I made contact with the customer and asked him if he didn’t mind the long wait I would wait for his order, he told me he didn’t mind so I waited. Well, an hour later, I finally reach the speaker and tell the person my order, she tells me to pull up to the second window. After another 30 minutes I finally reach the window and she proceeds to tell me that they can’t do any Uber or Dash orders because of computer problems and the staff earlier didn’t do their job….🙄 The excuse made no sense at all but now here I am with a hungry customer who now has to cancel his order and I’m out my time and gas. I call the support line and they passed me of to 3 different people instead of just doing the right thing. The 3rd person proceeds to tell me that she will give me a $5 fee for my time? I think she thought I was in India or something because the people that worked at the McDonald’s made $12.50 an hour. I told her that was unacceptable that I needed to be compensated for the time I waited and my gas she said sorry that the computer automatically does it for her she can’t do anymore thank you for calling and hung up on me. It’s now 1:30 AM and I’m driving home after wasting my time with this order and Uber really could careless. DO NOT WORK FOR UBER!

When it goes well, it goes well as far as ordering and delivering, however, when it doesn't go right, it's so frustrating. An example: I made a pre-order 4 days prior for a work lunch to be delivered. On the date of delivery, it hadn’t arrived. When I raised it, Uber Eats said that they couldn’t do anything about it or issue a refund because I had made a pre-order outside of their timeline to look at these matters. Basically, I would have had to pre-empt that my order wasn’t going to be delivered and notify them in advance of delivery that it wasn’t going to be delivered. Anytime there is an issue, they bring up their illogical “policy” - I’ve deleted the app. It’s not worth the hassle when there are other delivery apps available.

THEY ARE A THEIF.. I ordered and canceled my first order, then I placed my order again the same day within few minutes. They put a temporary hold on the first canceled order, which was okay.. then on Monday I see another transaction that happened in the amount of $32.22, which I did not authorize and then again today, same amount taken out of my account without any reason. Be careful and check your bank transactions when placing an order with them.. they over charge and steal money.

UberEats Rider told me to go f@*% myself My neighbour in the road opposite me ordered from Uber eats. However, the delivery driver got the wrong address. This has been happening more regularly over the past two weeks and when I answered the door I asked them what address they were looking for. They told me, and I said they had the wrong address and closed the door. The young man delivering apologised. However, the guy in the car shouted to me and told me I was very rude. I opened the door and told him I wasn’t being rude. I was just stating that they had the wrong address and shouted at me that it’s not his problem and I said it was his problem because he read the wrong address to which he drove off shouting “ go f@%# yourself you thick b#%*^”. This was all captured on my ring camera. I was not rude I was not verbally abusive and yet I got spoken to in a very unwelcome manner. If I spoke to one of my customers in my organisation like that I would be fired immediately. I will no longer be a customer UberEATS.

I placed an order in advance (9:03 a.m.) for a restaurant because I knew it would be busy. The restaurant has a special of buy one get one free. I also ordered a child's meal(which was cold) so a total of 3 items in the cart. The order was supposed to arrive by 4:05pm, but it arrived at 4:40p.m. (the restaurant is 10min away by vehicle) So by the time it arrived there was only one plate of food and the child's plate of food. So I was left without a meal that I paid for. Called the restaurant to ask about it and was told to contact ubereats, because there seemed to be a glitch in the system. When I did I was told that my order didn't qualify for a refund.(this is with photos of the ad and my receipt on the bag). If they looked at my previous order history they would have seen i've ordered the same dinners on numerous occasions with that advertisement of buy one get one. So it seems you should take a screen shot of every aspects of your order from start to finish otherwise if there is an error nothing can be done. A better system needs to be put in place.

They only deliver when it’s convenient. Why say that delivery is available when, in fact, it’s not??? After several hours and two cancellations due to “driver issues” we gave up trying to get a meal delivered. I guess no drivers wanted to drive the distance but why list it in the first place???? They stink.
