Uber eats is GARBAGE. Let's start with the customer service, Your drivers are so lazy they don't want to use the buzzer in apartment buildings and take the elevator to deliver the food. (At least when dealing with a pizza shop directly or any restaurant that have their own drivers, they are willing to get in the elevator and deliver the food to the door like it should be) It's not acceptable to do half a job at my work, so it should not be acceptable for a driver to not complete their task......poor service. And Uber eats don't even have a number to call and complain about your pathetic lazy drivers. Secondly, 80% of the time there's missing items from orders, i feel like the Uber drivers are stealing the customers food. I can't trust a company that can't keep tabs on their drivers. Thirdly when we explain to your drivers that we have people who can't walk very well in the apartment, they are so ignorant and self centered and still refuse to deliver the food to the door. I have told the girlfriend if she orders any more stuff from Uber eats instead of the restaurant directly, our relationship is done. Uber eats is filled with scammers, thieves and people who don't do their jobs properly..also half the time the food is cold cause half your drivers use electric bike on the cold. This is the worse business that been created

They stoled almost 50 dollars from me. I did not recieve any of my order and they resuse to refund my money. Use door dash. Doordash will 100% refund your money if you do not recieve your food.. Uber Eats is a scam and theives. I'm going to include a picture of where my uber eats driver threw my food on the ground which wasn't even my house.

This is directed at UberEats specifically As a UberOne member I expected decent services but boy was I wrong 1. On the 7th of December I ordered 15 Devils Peak 300ml beers from Bar Keeper Liquor Store, CBD for a total of R240 - They only delivered 2(as the store didn't have enough stock which is more than understandable) for a total of R32 - I was never refunded the R208 after Uber Support stated that the refund is pending (its been a little over a month now and still waiting) 2. Today, the 9th of January, I ordered 2 whole cooked chickens along with 5 rolls and a value pack of 2-minute noodles from Spar for the total of R216 - I was told again that my refund is pending - Which again hasn't reflected on my account So the grand total amount UBER has ****** from me is R388 - Will be taking seeking legal advise against them as this is absolutely crazy. How can a company ***** money from a customer. THE WORST COMPANY ON THE PLANET

I had a terrible experience a delivery driver took my food. I reported it missing. They claim that they investigated, and there was no way they could refund me so pretty much stole from me. The customer support doesn’t investigate nor ask you questions nobody’s ever available and when they are available, they do nothing about a missing order or anything else. I just deleted Uber eats today and if I were you, I would too. DoorDash is the best place to go because not only do they communicate with you further to understand the situation but there’s always someone 24 seven. And they refund you if it’s a reasonable refund Uber eats is beyond the worst place to get food. They will steal your money and not help you add on avoided all cost. Also the drivers are very unprofessional.

Description of complaint: To BBB, Better Business Bureau I am almost 80 years old and had two $50 Uber Eats gift card that I received which gave Uber Eats net address but no instructions how to activate the cards. I Signed on to Uber Eats on 12/25/2024, I tried putting in the numbers that are on top of the card and on the top lower right hand corner, all failed then I found the sticker on the bottom and peeled it off reveling the correct validation number. I entered this number for both cards and the $100 total was added to Uber Eats. I was sent a verification number via e-mail and I entered the number, the number was not accepted, I entered it again, got another number which did not work, rechecking to see if I was entering the correct number but again it would not accept. I did this early in the morning as sleeping is hard for me, the reason my wife's family gave us this generous gift was because my wife has Parkinson's and is wheel chair bound, I must do all the house work and cooking. My cooking is heating things in the microwave or oven, thus her family thought this card for Uber Eats might get her a decent meal. Uber Eats has not been defrauded out of anything, we our out $100 because I put in too many numbers and their computer kicked me out. Uber Eats has my name and address etc., I supplied them with my home phone number to help resolve this issue. My next Coarse of action is Calling Costco where the gift cards were purchased and I have the receipt! I have done nothing wrong other then being old and not up to date on gift cards and Uber Eats has my money, I want the money refunded or let me use my Uber Eats account.

Repeatedly screws up orders. First order choose a fast food place in down town LA 20 miles from my neighborhood during rush hour. For no good reason. The second time a different delivery address was added to my account for the delivery. This app is buggy and has so many problems.

ordered from their app and cancelled an order within 1 MINUTE as the wrong card was charged. i called them to get a refund on my purchase and they told me they couldn't because it had been a day since i ordered and that they marked it as a "cancellation fee"????? how are you going to charge me a cancellation fee and then not tell me about it???. Never ordering from this app again!!

The delivery driver did not try to contact me. I didn't get any phone calls at all. I also don't think it's fair that just because they pretend to get a hold of you but don't actually do it that they can just leave things laying around in undisclosed places When the customer has paid for it. That is not good customer service that is actually horrible because twice now l have lost out on food due to the fact that these so-called delivery drivers say that they're trying to get a hold of me when they aren't and then they put my food who knows where And leave to me that is unfair. Your delivery drivers should not be allowed to do that if anything, they should return the food back to the restaurant and have the restaurant try and get a hold of the customer. The customer service for this company for Uber eats is ridiculous

Ordered several items from a local supermarket, the delivery guy delivered only a part of the order, I sent them the pictures and proof, they ignored it several times, never ordering from them again plus anyone from my circle of friends

The first time we ordered the driver was lost (despite detailed instructions) so I assume he did not read the instructions. Upon calling, he could not communicate because of a language barrier! The second time the driver delivered and posted a pic of the WRONG HOUSE! Adding he delivered our hot food in freezing temps. He would not answer my attempt to contact him. In addition, the Uber reps spit out some pre written garbage and do not listen. They did not take his top away and offered to credit my order! Of course I paid for something I never received. They will hire anyone and they do not care about your time or money. So very disappointing and completely inferior to Door Dash!!

Uber Eats: Enabling Scams, Ignoring Customers Uber Eats has demonstrated a complete lack of care for its customers while enabling its Delivery Partners to scam users without consequence. Here’s my experience: The delivery person never rang the doorbell—something every other delivery service manages to do without fail. Instead, they marked the order as “delivered,” even though I never received the food. Attempts to contact the driver were futile—they ignored calls, messages or would be unresponsive in a call. I even went outside multiple times to search for the driver, when the driver called for pick-up, but they were nowhere to be found. The restaurant confirmed that the food was picked up, which clearly places the issue on the driver. Despite providing clear evidence, including call logs, showing my efforts to resolve the situation, Uber Eats refuses to issue a refund. Their support team only sends generic, robotic responses, avoiding accountability entirely. As a customer, I am appalled by this treatment. I will never use Uber Eats again, and I strongly advise others to think twice before trusting this platform. Many of the positive reviews here are suspiciously over-the-top, filled with excessive superlatives, and seem blatantly fake—likely an attempt to prop up their brand image.

Uber eats failed to look into my matter and sided with the merchant. After subway accepted my order and the driver was there to pick it up, Subway employees who don't even speak English asked the driver to text me that some items are out of stock. Not only the they didn't inform me they didn't even pick up the phone so I can talk to them. As a result, I had to cancel the order since my order items were out of stock, and Uber still charged me, stating that I should have canceled it before they prepare the order. What order 😅 . So, basically Uber and Subway charged me for nothing, good business guys, wish you a good management to train the employees and make sure they speak English, oh and I also wish the management of both sides to learn some values, like being honest.

Where do I start.. it's disgracefull how much we pay and the drivers don't even take the money... My most recent order I didn't get my beer at All the driver not speaking English showed up with two tall boys and Uber said it was non refundable...I have,6 other cases like this Uber eats is a dumpster fire

Will never use UberEATS again. They lie and steal your money. Had 2 wrong orders in a row They gave a credit for the first messed up order but not the second, which I never received my order at all. The driver told me to reach out to Uber because he did not understand me. I said I ordered penstation and he gave me chinese food. Zero stars all the way. Dont use this app. Staying with doordash. I've never had these issues from doordash and they don't hesitate to give you your money back

Terrible Experience with Uber Eats – Avoid at All Costs! I had the worst experience ever with Uber Eats, and I will never use their service again. I placed an order from Kerala Curry House, which was supposed to be delivered in 45 minutes. Instead, it turned into a complete disaster. The delivery driver claimed to be at my location but clearly wasn’t, and when I tried to guide him by suggesting a well-known landmark, he abruptly ended the chat. To make matters worse, I later received a random photo of my order dumped in some completely unfamiliar, secluded location. I’ve been living in this area for over a year and have no idea where that spot is! As a woman, I had to wander around Denmark Road in the cold, unsafe night trying to locate my food—unsuccessfully, of course. Uber Eats not only failed to deliver my order but also provided no real assistance during this ordeal. I lost £17 for food I never received, and the driver’s unprofessional behavior made the whole experience even more infuriating. This kind of service is absolutely unacceptable. Uber Eats needs to seriously rethink how they train their delivery staff and handle customer support. Save yourself the stress, money, and disappointment—use a different food delivery service!

Gave specific address and uber driver called and said he was outside of building and he never showed up and then told me he left my food outside ?? Celo with white Malibu or blue was unprofessional and should not have this type of job because of his incompetence to detail or simple directions. Celo is a coward punk .

Do Not use uber eats!!!!! Horrible, almost non existing customer service! I canceled my order immediately and called customer service. They said it's in their policy that they don't offer refunds if canceled (even immediately) ... they said to call mcdonalds and maybe I could drive up to get my order. Mcdonalds claims they don't take the money once an order is canceled. Out of money and out of food!!! Scam!!! Horrible customer service!!!
