I placed a order for pizza and forgot to add some items I immediately canceled the order but was still charged a service fee by the restaurant I contacted Uber Eats to let them know what happened and was told it's nothing can do so I asked how do I delete my account and was told that someone would contact me so I figured it out myself and un-installed the app I know there was no way that the restaurant started my order that fast. Very poor customer service

Disgusting service, extremely late. Only 15 mins distance is covered in 1 hour. Kids wait for food and the process is always delayed. I ordered food from Ekta Indian cuisine and it arrived 1 hour late.

They can’t find delivery people they prolong the delivery time over and over and will not allow customers to cancel order and refund the money in full despite it being their fault that they took an order knowing they didn’t have any drivers in the area.

I'm not rating the restaurant or a delivery person I am a delivery person. There is no way to contact a customer service rep for any questions as of recently. You have to go on and do a live chat, and no one has been able to answer any of my questions. This is unacceptable there are things I need to know that this app cannot help me with there needs to be a live representative to be able to speak with people that are working for their company.

On February 26, 2025, I placed an order from The Boiling Crab through Uber Eats, and it was a complete waste of money. Not only was the food horrible and not fresh, but I was also overcharged! The shrimp was on sale for $17.99 each, and I ordered two, yet I was charged $34 twice—a blatant overcharge! When I reached out to The Boiling Crab, the manager, Nee, told me that since I ordered through Uber Eats, it was out of her hands. I spent $86.93 on food my family and I couldn’t even enjoy. When I requested a refund, all I got was the runaround! This is completely unacceptable. Uber Eats and The Boiling Crab, you should be ashamed of this poor service, lack of accountability, and shady business practices. I deserve a refund and expect better from companies that claim to value their customers!

Worse customer service. I order food for my sister in the hospital and left detailed instructions with her room number and which neuro nurse station to talk too. Food was left at the wrong building and wrong department at labor and delivery. Even the picture shows they left the food unattended. UberEats refused to give a refund because they had a picture it was delivered just sitting somewhere. I requested hand to me not leave at door.

I cannot give 0 stars otherwise I would. I ordered from a really lovely restaurant on Uber eats, and then witnessed our delivery driver take a photo of our food on the wall outside and then run off with it. I have tried raising this with uber eats but their customer service is absolutely shocking and all I have been told is that the driver followed policy by taking a photo. The fact that our driver stole our food has not been addressed at all. I have used Uber eats several times before and never had an issue, but this is enough to put me off using again.

Unfair Charges and Terrible Customer Services I recently had a terrible experience with Uber Eats due to their app malfunctioning. My order went through three times instead of once, causing duplicate charges. I canceled the first two orders within five minutes, well before the restaurant started preparing them. I even called Sushi Circle in Fulham, who confirmed they had not begun making the food and assured me they would notify Uber Eats to issue a refund. Despite this, Uber Eats has still charged me for both canceled orders, leaving me with a £111 charge for just one £37 order that I actually received. This is completely unacceptable and violates Uber Eats’ own terms and conditions, which state that if an order is canceled before the restaurant starts preparing it, a refund should be issued. Uber Eats’ customer service has been completely unhelpful, refusing to take responsibility despite clear evidence from the restaurant. Their unfair and misleading policies leave customers out of pocket for errors caused by their own app. I will be disputing this charge with my bank and would strongly warn others to be cautious when using Uber Eats. As Uber Eats’ customer service team will not help me resolve this issue and I am unable to speak to a representative from Uber Eats over the phone, despite requesting they call me a number of times. I will have no choice but to escalate the matter further, including disputing the charge with my bank and reporting it to the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) and Citizens Advice, as this appears to be an unfair business practice. We’ve been customers for years. However we got horrible service tonight through the chat in the app!!!! Switching to DoorDash, etc… ANYTHING but Ubereats. Multiple chat agents were not helpful and had horrible customer service. They did NOT resolve my issue and ending the chat. My food has now been waiting at the restraint for an hour because they can’t find someone to pick it up but if I cancel, I will not be refunded. No one would help me and when I asked for a manager, they said they didn’t have anyone. WOW. AWFUL service. Definitely taking my concerns to all social platforms regarding Ubereats horrible service.

Horrible customer service. Food arrived very late causing me to be late for work. Because food was late and the hot food was in sealed containers, it was cold and mushy when I received it. Customer service promised a refund after I sent a photo. Sent photo and called back. Next rep refused to give refund offered 25% off next order. There will be no next order. I'll starve before I EVER use Uber eats again!
