Uber eats NEEDS TO PAY THEIR WORKERS MORE, I swear people be driving about 5-40 mins to deliver the orders and get paid $2 for the travel when it took more time and money to drive and pay gas to get there. I’m fed up with this under wage.

Delivery driver “Richard” picked up my food in Brooklyn, delivered another order before heading to me, then canceled my order 3 minutes before arriving to my home. No Ubereats Manager Rep wanted to take my call, resulting in a normal associate hanging up on me.

If I could give 0 starts I would! Awful awful customer service. Actually it’s more accurate to say it is non-cistern. Will happily take your money. Absolutely no help when things go wrong. You can’t even speak to anyone. The chat options are very limited. Messages are not read. Responses are copy pasted and repeated. BE WARNED! There are competitors out there or even better cut these scan middle men who take a hefty cut from the bill for nothing in return. DO NOT USE THESE COWBOYS!!!!!!

I ordered a pizza I ordered a pizza. The driver literally stole my pizza and Uber _ood_ nor I couldn't get in contact with him and Uber _ood_. Refused to give me my money back. To top it all off, I tempt the driver very well and I've been waiting for either my food _ood_ or a supervisor to call me for over 3 days. I wouldn't recommend using uber for anything. They have no control over their drivers and half of them are not from even this country that do not even care. My question is, what about if that was my last? $25 that they took from me. What was my kid going to eat? Not right!!!!

We got scam by Uber eats. I would rate a 0 if I can. If you are an Uber eats customer, please be aware if u cancelled your order which they only have 5 seconds for you to click go back but right after your order is no longer refundable even you cancelled it and the food has not prepared. I realized I placed my order at the wrong location. So I was able to successfully cancelled however you are not being warned if you cancel, you will not get your money back. I even called the restaurant that I cancelled my order and do not prepared the food. Which the restaurant confirmed that they have not start to prepare my order yet because the order just came in for less than 1 minute. the restaurant confirmed that it was on time to stop the order. Then, I contact Uber eats customer support talked to 5 different people and they all said the same thing that “we can’t refund you because our system won’t allow it”. I don’t even know how that can be legal in the US and I m surprise that they don’t get in trouble for treating customers like that. It is unheard of that you need to pay for your food that the customer never got their items but still get charged for the entire order that you were successfully cancelled. The Ubereats app didn’t warned or prompted you with a message saying like if you cancel you still be charged for the full order. In my case, if I m aware of that, I will not cancel my order but rather drive to that location to pick it up since they are about a few miles apart. I Just want to give a warning to those who are currently using Uber eats apps to watch out for the cancellations issue with them which is don’t expect a refund from Uber eats if you cancel your order for any reason. They will not refund you. I will just continue to use other food delivery or pick up app which they are so much more reasonable than Uber eats

You know what everyone complains about Uber eats drivers but let me tell you the truth behind this company and y'all customers specially for the customers that complain about us wanting a pin when we deliver without that pin we don't get paid and how do y'all expect to get food delivered for 30 miles for under $10? I'm not perfect by no means but I try my hardest to give a good job and deliver your food hot and quickly as possible but of course that's not good enough for y'all. We have to put up with trying to please y'all and Uber doesn't have a good customer service to help us. Instead of judging everyone why don't everybody try it for a few days and you will understand what a delivery driver goes through.

Absolute disgrace of a company! Never order through Uber eats!!! Would give 0 stars if possible! Placed a McDonald’s order through the app which was supposed to be delivered via Uber eats, after waiting 2 hours THEY cancelled the order. Noticed I had been charged full amount including delivery so rang them to be told I would not receive a refund for an order I placed that I never cancelled or received!! Absolute joke! Rand twice and was fobbed off with nothing they could do, it’s been over 48 hours! Thieves! Even hung up the phone on me after I asked where I was supposed to go from here! Disgusting!

Uber eats thinks it is fair to charge fees to deliver food cold. I am very upset because I select a time from 30-50 minutes but it ends up being over an hour and a half and my food is ice cold and they don’t offer a credit or refund.

Uber eats should have direct customer service if yall are open 24hr .24 hr service should be available 24 hr of the day instead of people having issues and can't get answers until yall decide yall wanna answer us and help with issues happening right then and there like doordash yall are flaking and are starting to be worthless for your customers

Horrible service. I ordered food that was not delivered to us. The custom service was useless. They said it was fine everything correctly and they will do a refund. After chasing the down the driver through cameras we figured that the driver left if few houses down. Never Uber eats again

Giving 1 star is generous. If I could give 0 stars I would. The customer service is THE worst. They’re rude, condescending, and EXTREMELY unprofessional and unhelpful. They refused to refund me on 2 occasions for items that I prefer but didn’t receive. They accused me of “repeatedly violating” their refund policy. How am I supposed to show evidence of an item I didn’t receive? The rep got tired of me and blocked me. I can no longer message them regarding the last order I had an issue with. They were INCREDIBLY dismissive but why should they care when it’s not their order missing an item that they paid for right?

UBER EAT is a scam guys do not order from this app.. I ordered for a food worth over £29.80… I ordered for a food worth over £29.80 which was never delivered to me due to a mistake with the delivery address, I called the Uber delivery guy to bring the food to the right address but he declined saying he was going to return my food back to the restaurant, I called the restaurant so I can pick up my food through other means but they confirmed the delivery guy didn’t returned the food and he marked my order as delivered. I made a complain through the app and nothing was done, I call the Uber eats customer service and they told me my complain is not eligible for a refund. So I didn’t get my food and there was no refund first time of using UBER EATS bad service bad experience and this is also the last time I will be using it… scammers

Driving for Uber use to be ok but now it's horrible they constantly have new regulations that are not explained you have to figure it out for yourself customer service is a waste they are difficult to understand and hardly resolve the issue. And then it's the select few of customers that try and get over and Uber Eats just let them they let you deliver these people food basically for free cause they give them an hour to reduce or take the whole tip away and there's no logical reason when you ask customer support only thing is the customer has the right, I truly don't get how they don't see this is just another manipulation of horrible customers just trying to get free food Uber Eats will eventually be a thing of the pass when something better comes along and some the same thoughtfulness to both drivers and customers alike

They are trash and if you are ever considering delivering for them or ride sharing for them reconsider they do not care about they driver in any way shape or form if you accept an order and go to the merchant to get it and it has been picked by a different driver or the merchant never received it and you call them about it to cancel you wasted your time and gas and energy if delivery on a bike because they will not pay you anything like our gas is free or a time is not valuable to us or our energy is not important to us it all free to uber

Terrible! Refused to give me a refund after a duplicate tip charge because I contacted them "after 48 hrs". I noticed it in my account maybe 4 or 5 days later and contacted them. There is no live chat or phone number to speak with them. I requested a refund at least 5 times...each being denied. The last one said a supervisor would outreach me and that was a lie. I will never ever use uber eats again. Terrible customer service. Doordash it is!

I am not a person who normally writes reviews but this app is a rip off and a scam. I used this app about a week ago, and taking in mind the food took forever to get here and it was way overpriced. Then , I deleted OFF of my phone. A week later I get a notification from my bank that Uber charged me $9.99 for a subscription at 10pm. I NEVER signed up for a subscription of theirs. They used my information without my permission AND signed me up for an UNWANTED subscription and charged my bank account. Then I go download the app back to see why I was charged and it would not let me unsubscribe for something I didn’t even get in the first place. This just made me more angry seeing that I am trying to go to bed and at 10pm they charged me for something I didn’t get. They were trying to be sneaky with this charge because it was at 10pm so they probably thought I wouldn’t be able to catch it. I just deleted the whole account. I am mad and will never use this app again . If it was possible I would give them ZERO stars. If you go on Google and search “why is Uber charging me $9.99” they will tell you that they have probably forced you to subscribe to something. This is PROOF that it has not only happened to me, but to many others as well. That is probably how Uber makes all of their money, by ripping people off.

Today, I ordered food on Uber Eats and paid for the urgent delivery fee. The driver did not follow the designated route. When the driver arrived at my house, I kindly told him that he was late. I initially thought the driver would simply apologize and give some common excuses, like not being familiar with the roads, to end the conversation pleasantly. However, the driver rudely shifted the blame. In the end, I asked the driver to leave my property. Even though half of his car was parked in my front yard and the other half in my driveway, he insisted it wasn't my road and refused to leave. I threw a can of Coke in front of his car before he finally left. Later, I attempted to file a complaint with Uber, only to find that my account had been locked for several hours because the driver had reported me first. A few hours later, I received an email from Uber stating that my account had been unlocked. The email also mentioned that my yelling at the driver violated Uber's community guidelines. They informed me that after reviewing the driver's route, they confirmed he hadn’t followed the proper path and refunded me three dollars for the priority delivery fee. I responded to the email, explaining how the driver refused to leave my property, which constitutes trespassing in New Zealand and is a criminal offence. Uber replied, stating they would send a separate email addressing my concern regarding the driver's refusal to leave. A few hours later, I received another email saying that they had already handled my concern in the previous support ticket and to refer to the original message. They also confirmed that Uber would fully refund my order. I have placed many orders on Uber Eats. In the past, there were instances where drivers took over an hour to deliver an order that was only a ten-minute drive from my house, but I understand that sometimes delays happen due to traffic congestion. This time, however, was my first complaint in nearly two years. Ideally, I hope Uber would provide the driver’s information to the police so they can issue a trespassing notice. I am very disappointed with how Uber handled the situation. In the end, I canceled my Uber One subscription and deleted the app.
