“It would be nice if you folks asked me for a review after I have received the merchandise. I still have not received the part I ordered approximately 5 weeks ago. You sent me an email saying it was now in country and you had shipped it to me via slow truck from whatever port it arrived on. If you get your parts from overseas I want nothing to do with your business anymore.”
The entire unit was made over sea so it seems self evident that the repair components would come from the same source. As indicated by the tracking number you have been provided the product shipped to you on the 5th and will deliver via UPS tomorrow.
“After watching the Youtube video of how to replace the lower flex-hose on the Shark Rocket model vacuums I figured it would be relatively easy to repair my own. Some of the reviews of this specific model state that the vacuum is easier to repair or that it is more difficult to repair, so it pretty much comes down to personal technical ability.
Here's the mistake I made, instead of using the link posted in the Youtube video to Vacuums R Us I went to the standby for everyone these days and ordered two hoses for the price of one via Amazon. Of course they say these will fit the model in the description but lo and behold when they are shipped and you get to the point where you need to switch the hose it is too wide in diameter. Go figure, the hose must be 1 1/18th instead of whatever was sent.
So, next day I do use the link to the Vacuums R Us store and buy the exact hose recommended. After a few more days of waiting for shipping the hose shows up and it indeed fits perfectly. Now I have two hoses that are a bit too wide in diameter but also a working Shark stick vac. Getting the device apart and together was less tricky than I anticipated and the tutorial video is very helpful.
I guess when you seek advice from a vacuum expert you should also pay attention to the recommendations they make for buying parts. Maybe I can use the two hoses I don't need for a still or something...”
“My old Shark upright had a busted lower hose, but I didn't want to junk it. I was fortunate to come across the Vacuums R Us site. They had the correct hose, glue, and a how-to video to fix it myself! Now my Shark is back in service and sucking!”
“I found this company after viewing a video on YouTube on how to replace a wand release button on a Bissell vacuum. The video provided a link to their website and I was able to order the part I needed and a new filter for my vacuum. The parts came quickly and fit perfectly. I won't hesitate to use them again. Thank you for posting the video!”
“Vacuums R Us had a part for my old Bissell vacuum cleaner. It took me a lot of searching to find this online store but I was thrilled I found them and they had the part I needed. They shipped quickly and it was a perfect fit. This is definitely the store you need to use to look for any vacuum parts that need replaced!”
“I found out Vacuums R Us from their super helpful youtube video on replacing the lower hose in a Shark Rocket and bought the recommended hose and adhesive. Shipping was fast and the replacement went smoothly.”
“They were able to backorder a had a hard-to-find part and it arrived within the time frame originally quoted. I did call about the order and the man I talked to was very helpful and able to assist even thought I was not sent a confirmation email with order number. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is their shipping policy which will likely keep me from ordering from them again. I had to ship item to my son who I would be visiting since they wanted an enourmous sum ($100) to ship to Alaska, but it was free elsewhere in the US. That means I am subsidising everyone elses' shipping. Not cool. If they would offer shipping at actual cost I would give 5 stars easily and would happily order from them again”
“I ordered items that have been hard to find locally (MI); they were packed with care and shipped swiftly, and I was updated on my order status frequently! I really felt like a valued customer despite being located so far away!”
“The USPS crushed the box that my order was shipped in and the small parts fell out. The USPS said that box was insured so we have to contact the vendor. I called "Vacuums..." and the person that answered took my information and I recieved an email back from your company asking for photos of the box. I sent' y'all photos and you sent an email back saying you would send replacement items that I ordered and paid for. 2 weeks later and I am still waiting for the parts. Emails go unanswered. I will dispute the charge with the credit card company if I don't get the parts that I ordered or a refund. O am not sure what to think at this point, other than thay don't really care about the customer once they got their money.”
Hi Dennis. Thank you for your helpful feedback. We have reviewed your order and found your order placed on May 1st at 7:01am MST was shipped on May 1st at 8:39am. We have tracked the USPS tracking number associated with your order and find it is on it's way to you. We are sorry you are disappointed that the postal service does not deliver faster. However, we are unsure at what point there was any indication the product would arrive on the 6th.
“You asked me to revise my review based on my "issue having been dealt with". Seriously? I don't call a short note from you explaining how well you quality control you parts; how rare what happened to me it; or "We do not see record that you had made contact with us regarding the defective part. Had we been provided the opportunity to make that right for you we would have. It is disappointing that things worked out for every one this way" dealing with the issue. Dealing with the issue would have been refunding the cost of the part. However... That's okay, I don't want a refund. My vecuum cleaner is running once again, and that is all I really care about.
In the future, if I were you, I would spend less time justifying yourself, and pointing fingers at the customer and concentrating on real customer service.”
Hi Jeff,
As indicated on the product page, every step of the ordering process, and the follow up order confirmation email you received, this is a rare special order part requiring significant lead time to deliver.
We do not see record that you had made contact with us regarding the defective part. Had we been provided the opportunity to make that right for you we would have. It is disappointing that things worked out for every one this way.
