My wife and I decided to take the seemingly amazing EV deal from Vanarama with free insurance and a free charger. The experience started off well but soon disintegrated. Firstly, the insurance takes up to 10 working days to return emails. The Insurance then did not accept the NCB even though proof was given, the frustration was increased as we received 1 line responses, 4-8 days after sending documentation\replies. We have had to arrange our own insurance as we only received responses after delivery of the vehicle, making the Vanarama deal less competitive to other leasing companies. Charged EV not letting us know the charger would not be installed on time, and we are still awaiting the charger or any kind of notification of installation. It's been a month since the application was submitted. Charged EV not communicating with us re delays. The dealership delivering the vehicle arranged an AM delivery and only arrived at 4 pm. I was booked for surgery, and we needed to make alternative transport arrangements due to this delay. This added further cost to us even though we planned efficiently. We were not offered an alternate day and we twice communicated we could not do PM and were assured this would be AM. We later found out the Dealership was late because of the incorrect licence plates being on the vehicle which they drove from the midlands to Cambridge. Wonder if this is legal? The Vehicle was delivered with an error, and we were told to take it to a dealer to repair. When contacting the call centre, we were informed we might need to pay, by Hannah, as we had not taken out the Vanarama maintenance and service plan, and there is nothing Vanarama can do about that. Unacceptable when only taking delivery of the vehicle. While under the knife (literally), the delivery person then showed my wife the inside and outside of the vehicle and asked if she was happy to accept. No test drive, no further inspection and certainly did not take her through the questionnaire which he completed himself on the iPad giving himself 10/10 and ticking everything else off without asking her any questions, only saw this after receiving the emailed form. We were then told to drive it and it will be fine by Lauren, and it will be covered under warranty. We called and were told an escalation manager would contact us within 6 hours, this did not happen. The escalation manager has to date not found a resolution and the last email from Connor was the 19th of October telling us he will have a meeting with the insurance team that day and get back to us right after. I wonder if the finance companies are happy with us giving a faulty vehicle back to them at the end of the term? I will keep all the evidence of reporting this and give it to them when asked. Vanarama has made our first leasing experience terrible as they have done nothing to assist and support. This has caused more of a headache than an enjoyable experience.

Leased a Van from VANARAMA for 5 years after returning it in excellent condition I have received a invoice requesting £700.00 for chip & scratch repairs. In shock what happened to there Fair Wear & Tear policy I was so impressed with how well it looked With 15000 miles under my mileage allowance as well. They are proper scammers. Stay away.

I ordered a car, got the order email and everything great, got the phone call to say everything is good and as soon as the credit check comes back they will call me to arrange delivery, next day get a phone call to say I passed the credit check but between me ordering the car and passing the credit check someone else bought the car…..

The 2018 Ford transit connect I've had for nearly 3 years is without question the WORST van I have ever the displeasure of driving. The DPF filter has now clogged up for the 3rd time, rendering the van useless. DO NOT EVER EVEN THINK ABOUT GETTING ONE,, NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE!!! The driver aids are to intrusive, the back dimensions aren't as stated, need I go on?

Unfortunately won’t let me give zero. By the looks of the reviews everyone is complaining about the same thing. Ordered a Ford Puma St Line X with a delivery date of 7-10 days and that was what… end of May? We are in August now. They are STILL advertising as from now in Stock!!! With a 14-21 delivery day. It’s an absolute joke. DO NOT ORDER

Ordered a vw Tiguan in April 2021 now at the end of July 2021 , car is in the garage but paper work missing?. Ring constantly to chase up but they do not reply, very poor front of house feel as though I should just cancel the deal they don’t seem interested, pity the car is sitting in a garage plated up as a 21 plate but will soon be old due to 22plate coming out soon . What a joke they are .

Car ordered, Phone call and email to confirm details already given. Then to say the price was incorrect and a mistake was made. No contact since and won't return any messages or calls. Hopeless.

Electric vehicle ordered (sales team ok until oder placed) . Then a trail of absolutely hopeless support, Phone calls asking for information that had already been supplied (3x). Various people ringing for documents already supplied. Electric point installed at my home (by a different company). Telephoned by dealer (VW) to discuss delivery. Then contacted by an arrogant manger to be told vehicle will not be supplied. I now have a (free -subsidised) electric charging point and no van !!!. Highly suspicious cock-up by this company, complete lack of sympathy and appalling service. DO NOT Recommend!!

Ordered a new van at a good deal , great just complete the application & get approved for credit. Took seven days to get back to me & "yes all approved but unfortunately the deal you ordered is no longer available". "We have a different vehicle a bit more expensive". So they've put a search on my credit file without having available goods.Common theme it seems, wouldn't touch them with a bargepole.

Stay away I’ve had two damaged vehicles delivered now and there customer services are desperate once you have got that vehicle your on your own anything wrong with it your in your own without support

Have been in contact with vanarama for a few weeks trying to arrange leasing a new vehicle. I used the Website to create some quotes and then had calls back from the sales team. the first few Cars and prices I liked were unavailable or a lot more money and they blamed COVID for the lack of an updated website, I thought I would give them the benefit of the doubt and try a few more Options, again all massively different from what the website had quoted me but we found one I was happy with at £373 a month inc maintenance so we started the process. I get a call two days later saying that they had made a mistake and it would be £470ish...Safe to say that was cancelled, offered me a selection of different things but by then I had lost confidence in vanarama (hadn’t seen these reviews either) and ordered with another company this morning.

Shocking service, AVOID!!!!! I ordered the vehicle in July 2019, Paid my deposit and finally got the vehicle in Dec 2019 but the order was wrong! Truckman top was wrong! Documents were wrong! They are quick to take your order and your money, the service is good up until payment then it all goes downhill rapidly!!! Disappointing, despicable cowboy company!!!!! Using methods to intimidate to get what they want without being transparent and professional. Horrific!

Ordered a car as good price told them i would need by 5 weeks as my car runs out of MOT couldnt get hold of anyone endless calls every day, then finally a month later I get told the car I ordered is no longer available and can have the same at a higher price Absolutely disgusting and now I'm left with no car, I will not be recomending to anyone

Great and all happy, clappy, smiley, BS on the front-end before you sign a contract. Then, after that, they don't care, they can't help, they don't know the answers, they aren't involved. Beware the type of van companies they broker with also. These are companies who'll load you up with endless extra charges and "exit fees" for virtually invisible scratches and scuffs at the end of contract. My final bill was just under £800 for a virtually immaculate van. Total joke. Save up, or take a bank loan out to buy your own van, and leave these van brokerage firms to go bust, which is nothing more than they deserve.

Great service. Even during lockdown. Every stage of the process transparent and clear. Vehicle delivery very clear and safe. 100%. Great deal too. I got 3 quotes. The other two looked cheaper or similar but when you compare like for like - the miles etc Vanarama were around £20 a month better value and easier to deal with.

4+months and still waiting Nightmare, where to begin!!!!!. I ordered a Factory production vehicle to my specification in Aug 2019 and this was subsequently placed, I then recieved a phone call to offer me a better deal on a stock item they had at a great price. Great! you would thing, reserved the said vehicle with £500 deposit confirmed by email. I heard nothing for 2 weeks and then phoned and phoned and the phoned again only to be told somone would call ne back!. I finally spoke to them by pretendinf to be someone else and got through to the relevant individual. The information is "not good" he said the car I had placed a depsoit on had been given to someone else via the finance company. As you can imagine i was very disappointed, but he said there was another vehicle same specification just a different colour and same price, I of course said this was fine secured again with confirmation email. Guess what?, low and behold the same thing happened again. I did all the chasing, had to pretend to be someone else again and all for the same answer as before that this new reserved vehicle had been given to somone else at no fault of Vanarama. The only option for me now was to re-order Original factory spec (more expensive than offer) that I had ordered in Aug 2019. I am now at the same stage again that I have still not received paperwork or finance docs in regards to said new vehicle and had to chase this all again and Yes, you guessed it pretend to be someone else to get put through to speak to the right person. Anyone believe in Christmas miracles?, as I beleive I will need one to ever see this order. Regards Darren
