“Love it. Especially happy with the hitch lock so the rack doesn't shift around while driving. Easy to load/unload. Built very stout (maybe overbuilt). Just put it on my Bronco for the first time, it worked great on a 7" extension.”

“Worth every penny- if you want a solid and easy to use bike rack that will last, look no further. The design is awesome and the functionality is great! When the rack is fully loaded, we have the 5 bike option, it can be heavy to lift but all you have to do is ask for help or squat and use your legs to lift. We actually use the rack to store our bikes in our garage. Rack hangs from wall hooks that they provide and you can store the bikes on the rack. Really like how they thought this trough! Buy this and move on!!!”

“This is the best rack I have ever owned. The build quality is unmatched by anyone in the industry. Every time I'm out with the family going for a ride. I get question about the rack and I have NO problems showing it off and telling people how much I love it. One of the things I love the most is that my 8 year old can load her own bike and she LOVES that. She does need daddy to do it for her. Great product”

“We have an RV and regularly being the bikes on our trip. We have in the past lost a bike, my youngest in the middle of Nebraska. Going with the Velocirax 5 has been a significant upgrade. Number 1, the kids can load and unload the bike is a huge effort savings for me on the travel days. Same is true during the winter, we have the rack on the garage wall and helps with the clutter in the garage. I believe it has been well worth the upgrade from the 5x Thule…didn’t lose a bike this year, much less stress on travel days.”

“Received the rack quick. My husband says you really need two people two put it on the vehicle safely. We traveled from Northern California to North Dakota and our bikes were in great shape when we got there so we are completely satisfied with this bike rack and would totally recommend it!”

“I’ve got 5 kids and finally needed to find a bike rack that would support our growing bikes! After a lot of research, I decided on the 7-bike Velocirax system. Great service commenced immediately. As usual I had waited until the last minute, but Peter and the team made sure I got the rack a day early so I could get it assembled and ready for a 2-week family beach trip. It assembled quickly and easily, installed on my van as expected and performed perfectly with 7 various sized bikes all loaded and secure. The tilt mechanism and mounting design are flawless! A second outing was just as successful! Then, the second HUGE selling point is that it was just as easily mounted to the garage wall and is now storing my bikes until the next trip! Totally awesome and would recommend to anyone needing a great rack!”

“This is a very well built product. It is sturdy and well balanced. It is heavy though. The reason is because it is built with strong steel. You can't have both, light and strong built. It just doesn't work that way. I can pick it up, carry it, and put it in the hinge by myself but I am strong guy. But you will definitely need 2 people to do that. Putting it together wasn't difficult for me. I am a handy guy, but I can see where it can be a bit challenging for some to put it together. The loading of the bikes isn't hard. The strapping system is very well thought out. I like that! Once all the bikes are loaded and it is time to push the rack up to lock it in place, it is a bit heavy. Again I am strong enough to be able to do that. My wife can't do it. She tried. You will need to people to do that as well, but you will have plenty of help anyway by the simple fact that you are loading 6 bikes anyways. I am very happy with this product. I have no complains at all. It is built very well, with good and strong gauge materials and is easy to load and unload the bikes. Congratulations on the creation of this nice bike rack.”

“Only way I can carry 7 bikes on the suburban. Solid and safe. Only things to consider is our fuel economy suffers because the tires stick up past the roof line and the rack is bulky to move around off the vehicle. Sacrifices I’m willing to make because it’s the best rack out there for more than 2 bikes. 1 suggestion would be to add trailer light kit because the taillights are obscured when fully loaded.”

“I own a commercial MTB tour & shuttle company in Sedona, AZ. We exclusively use Velocirax for all our tour vehicles and can’t say enough about their durability, ease of use, and design. They’re absolutely perfect and built to past. They keep our bikes secure and comfortably spaced — down the bumpy dirt roads we navigate to for the majority of our experiences. “This rack is excellent! It is a heavy beast but what do you expect if it's going to be stout enough to support five bikes! Hangs in the garage very easily and stores the bikes vertically. This is a lovely bonus!”

“Love it. We use it on the back of our expedition and can open the back when the rack is lowered. We do not have to lower it all the way to open the back. We have traveled from SC to VT and ME is out six bikes and had no issues with this rack. it gets a little squeaky but I think we probably need to just WD40 the joints.”

“I love the Velocirax 5x, the best rack I've owned so far. Specifically: bikes are protected during transport, easy to access any bike on the rack without removing others, and doubles as a garage rack. Highly recommend!”
