buggy app, overly automated, helpdesk chatbot just a biased machine. Really difficult to update profile details, locks out of account, helpdesk sounds like a poorly trained robot. All this hazy buzzy techno fuzzy, data disabled biased solutions, mis-routing customers experience.

Vinted were supposed to process a refund for an item not received. 5 days late, I contact customer services who should not investigate unless I sent a copy of my FULL bank statement revealing all my financial transactions. This is against my right to privacy so looks like I have lost the money, have no good and paid a “buyer protection” fee for nothing.

I bought on Vinted but the item I received was not the item I had ordered. The buyer said they had sent me the wrong item by mistake and asked me to return it which I did. Unfortunately I never received the correct item. I was refunded for the item but not the cost of delivery or the additional protection fees, amounting to just under £4. I contacted Vinted but they just dismissed me saying that it was in their terms and conditions and that it was my responsibility to pay for delivery - even though I was sent the wrong item in the first place! Not helpful or supportive at all when buying on their platform and charging additional protection fees. Out of pocket and it wasn’t my fault and absolutely no support to resolve it 😔

BEWARE they will shut down and block your account with out notice all your hard work photos ratings etc all gone over something as minor as not having a proof of purchase on an item. Funds also get deleted along with your whole vintage existence. Robotic replies and absolutely no customer care once they want you gone your gone.

Would not recommend to use. I bought a top, which got lost on transit. I eventually received an email from vinted to report I hadn’t received. I clicked what I needed to do to report I hadn’t received the item. Didn’t hear anything more from vinted until next thing they completed my order which means I got no top and no money. I contact vinted - customer service is absolutely terrible who were of no help. Would never use again

Paid for a dress she sent shoe out by mistake the seller was brilliant arrange a quick return she supplied vi ted on the other hand took the money and only want to have me half of my money back so I’ve no good just lost out and they are not interested they say it not there problem so not use vinted they are useless it the 2 time it’s happened

As a seller you're not protected as one woman claimed my shoes weren't as described and when asking can she send item back can you send item back ignored. Reported on vinted multiple times but ignored me so buyers can scam and get items for free and then again as seller a buyer despite not addressing problems with item or reporting problem gave me one star review claiming the item had stain but didn't have time to report. So I reported vinted to please remove review as clearly this buyer was lying and under consumer act its illegal in uk to write fake reviews. I called this buyer out and this buyer hasn't got good rep. Anyway dispite the consumer act. Vinted refused and had nerve to say I should ask buyer to remove and said they can only remove review if its inapropiate or scam so i replied technically scam as the buyer has misleaded dispite not addressing the claims to me or vinted about mark which wasn't there. I thrower the consumer right and vinted attitude was disgusting. They were like we get were your coming from and shouldn't go through that but basically we ain't doing Jack about. Vinted is having no regard for the law and needs shutting down. I stated and showed evidence via screenshots of buyer not once addressing problem and proceeding with sale. I even said so let me get this straight despite consumer act buyers can make false reviews and be a law to themselves and they were like we have made decision and not removing review but please open new inquiry. Absolute joke. Vinted needs shutting down. They have broken a few uk laws and have no regard. Especially sellers.

Never got paid by the buyer as I had to send via a different shipping as no shipping anywhere near me , Vinted have been absolutely no help what so ever and will not contact the buyer to retrieve my money owed , I suggest you do not use this useless company who have no intention of helping you

Very bad experience, leaving the platform Very bad experience Basically the platform works well if everything is well and if a problem is not significant. They have a responsive customer support that is not very smart but can successfully read and copy/paste scripts as needed. The platform is great for buying things and is ALWAYS on a side of a buyer. BUT be very careful when selling (specifically selling expensive items), they will not help - you will just get a script message over and over again that makes totally no sense. I have sent a new prada shoes (in an original box with a dustbag and with pictures of all logos, etc). The shoes got stolen on the way or maybe the buyer lied (the box was delivered but without shoes). Vinted just sent me an email that the shoes were counterfeit (with all the pictures clearly showing that they are original & I have a score of 5 for 110 evaluations) and that they will not reimburse me. Basically, as Vinted can't directly blame the logistics company and get money from them, they would come up with any reason / lie in order not to reimburse. Again, great platform to buy and sell old cheap clothes but clearly not at the level of RealReal (US) or vestiare collective if you want to sell designer clothes. Be very careful.

Vinted are a nightmare, being a regular buyer which they cash in on! Charging buyers fees to buy😳 then have low quality items being allowed to be sold, being misled by sellers and having hassles if you have to send back is one thing.... Another is having items in the right categories removed and dodgy sellers with duplicate & bulk selling not being monitored is crazy! I am taking my account off and would not recommend anyone buy or sell on this useless business!

I use vinted to buy, not sell. Had a clear put some designer sunglasses that were a gift explained this in listening then got blocked? Challenged this said fake and need the proof. Sent over the receipt my friend forwarded to me and still waiting. Cannot speak to anyone and keep saying l have vialated terms and conditions. I see lots of fake bags on the website but nothing done about this!!!

I would give 0* if I could. I've been selling on Vinted for fee years now. 100% 5*. Lately I've sold glasses, they were packed properly in a case, box, bubble foil and tape. Put into mailbag (brand new!) and sent. Glasses were stolen from the box, bag ripped and taped by someone who stolen them. Vinted doesn't want to refund me money as they insist it was MY fault! I've never taken pictures when sending items as this situation never happened before and now Vinted says "no money for you, you naive idiot as you don't have pictures" Im soooooo angry! Ive lost money and item and no one wants to help! They take money very easily but when tou need help - they avoid any! Guys be careful when using Vinted! They are not good at all!

I literally created a vinted account, and purchased 3 items. My account has been blocked and all the money refunded as they're accusing me of fraud??? Not sure what i have done, i have literally paid with my bank account and the items were coming to my address?

I sold an item, the buyer paid for delivery using Evri, but on arrival there one vase was broken and one vase was missing. The buyer contacted me they would like their money and so I cancelled the order and refunded them their money which is the most honest thing to do because it’s only fair. I contacted Vinted about the issue and the customer rep (Juan) I spoke to treated the case like it was nothing, they said there was nothing they could do as I cancelled the order and I shouldn’t have been in a hurry to do so. From a buyer’s point of view, how do you not get your money back in such a situation. I pleaded and asked for a better resolution and for the case to be properly looked into but the customer service has no care in the world and parred me off, it was almost like they derived some sort of joy from it. The level of customer service I received was soo poor, the worse I have ever received and I mentioned this to them, but they still carried on their I don’t care attitude. I’m at a loss of both my items and my money. This was my first time using Vinted and mostly certainly my last, there are other platforms I would rather sell on and I now wish that was a charity donation rather than going down the drain with Vinted. You can’t call either, so you only get what they tell you because they are in such control and have got the power, you’ve got nothing at all.

As a seller you are not protected, Vinted don’t even want to listen to what I have to say, and have automatically given the buyer a refund, and they also got to keep the item, even tho it was only the packaging that got damaged, and the item inside is still usable an awful site as it’s all automated replies, and no way of communicating to sort this issue out properly or fairly, very disappointing, sellers beware! Vinted automatically say that the buyer is under no obligation to return the item and the buyer can block you and you have no chance to resolve or get your item back, I don’t understand how the buyer has been able to talk to Vinted as all I get from them is automated replies. Now £20 down and the buyer has been refunded there money and also has the item in perfectly working order, albeit damaged packaging which does not affect the item.

Courier delivered my stuff to someone else and it was proven by an email from the company evri yet jordan from vinted 'customer service' absolutely disregarded the proof and dcided to still keep my money saying that the item was delivered.

Do not sell on vinted. Sellers have zero protection from scammers. I was forced to accept a return and Vinted paid the refund when there was no proof the item was even sent back to me and I was told I would be compensated and now i can't get in touch with anybody. Their customer service is SHOCKING
