First time using Vinted, set up account to sell a Marks and Spencer raincoat. Account was deleted, saying they thought the coat was counterfeit. Sent more photos, including washing instructions and was told I was permanently banned as they still didn't believe me. Absolutely ridiculous! Who would sell counterfeit 'Marks and Spencer' for goodness sake? Back to Ebay for me. Vinted is rubbish and obviously run by idiots!

I have tried to sell a couple of items but I keep getting a message saying I am breaking their rules so they delete my item yet there are so many other people selling exactly the same item and theirs are still there to be seen and buy, customer service does not exist, !!!

For some reason my account was temporarily blocked due to a wall hanging. The wall hanging wasn't vulgar or rude, it just had a life quote. Be prepared that if you list on Vinted, you unfortunately have to deal with very dense staff who won't help you resolve the issue and all they do is send automated messages. Once my account is unblocked, I am definitely closing my account.

The company is absolutely horrendous, thieves and don’t care at all . I sold a brand new kimono for £45, the buyer said the package was empty when she received it so they gave her her money back straight away no questions asked. 6 weeks of messaging them and nothing! I am now out of pocket for £45 and they don’t care!! Reported them to trading standards DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Everything that can go wrong for a buyer goes wrong on this vile website. I've been conned out of over £50 for two purchases which were fake, I took photo proof, returned them at my expense yet Vinted still released money to the sellers! This is the worst website ever and there are no ways of contacted 'support' other than through messaging them and you literally get nowhere. If you want to keep your sanity don't even bother buying from here, you'll lose lots of money when things go wrong, and with the many lying sellers, something is bound to go wrong. AVOID.

DO NOT USE VINTED TO BUY OR SELL YOUR THINGS!!! There is no buyer or seller protection but a scam to get you to pay more money for rubbish help that they do not provide!!!!

If you are sent the wrong goods then to even try to get a refund you are pressured to pay even more money to post the goods back. So the dishonest or unreliable seller does not have to cover the charge of the return postage and then if they claim that the original packaging is even slightly damaged in transit you get no refund and they get the goods back. The customer service is completely unhelpful and disintereated. Poor

If you have a problem with vinted this is all they will say; Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately, we have well-defined procedures from which we cannot deviate. It's not that we don't want to help you, far from it, but we are governed by well-defined rules, in this case once you requested the item back, basically you assume the conditions of this, there is nothing more we can do. On my behalf, if I had the opportunity to help you deal with this situation in a different way, I would never have hesitated to do so. Have a great day. They will refuse to help and actively look to try and absolve themselves from any conflict. They are 100% on the buyers side.

If I could give them a 0-star review I would. Please don't let yourself be involved as a seller on this platform. I've been using it for quite some time now but recently got super disappointed by the buyer's behavior and CS of Vinted. The buyer after receiving the package claimed that it never arrived, Vinted suspended the transaction, refunded the buyer, and left me as a seller out dry. The USPS tracking clearly states that the item was delivered to the locker. So obviously the buyer here is lying, have not heard from her/him back, and after reaching out to Vinted's CS they told me that they can't do anything. WOW!!! I have never in my life experienced worse customer support than this. So if you are a buyer on this platform you can legally steal items from sellers. Just claim your package as lost, you get your refund and that's it! If you are a seller, save your time and money and stick to Poshmark and eBay which care about their sellers.

I am a new seller on Vinted, and to confirm my first sale and receive payment for it Vinted said they had to verify my bank account by making a charge on my credit card, which would be immediately refund. They charged 1111€ to my card then said this hadn't gone through for technical reasons and tried to do it another 2 times. Luckily the bank blocked the other 2 attempts or they would have taken 3333€. They have not refunded the amount and customer services are now not replying to any of my messages. I do not understand why they had to take so much money to verify the account. And I am really annoyed that I've had to waste so much time waiting for customer services to reply, and I will have to waste more time tomorrow morning trying to get the bank to refund the money.

The buyer confirmed they received my parcel via email trail, vinted had my money in pending, then returned funds back to the buyer… as they didn’t confirm it arrived then deleted their account. Despite sending proof it was received, vinted have told me basically tough. So I have lost the shoes and the £85.. only protection is for the buyer…shocking terrible and totally gutted….

Straight up trash. They literally will let people have a package be received but claim it's lost and take your money and items. Then they give you the run around because their customer service is useless and confused. They literally send conflicting messages in the same "help" chat basically just explaining that they dont know or care at all. Save yourself the trouble and use POSHMARK who is actually fair with their buyers/sellers.

Sellers beware! Sellers have no recourse or support from Vinted should their package be "lost" or stolen. Even when using Vinted tracked labeling, and the tracking shows that the package was delivered, if the package "disappears" after delivery or in the more likely scenario, if the buyer steals it, vinted will reimburse the buyer but will not cover the loss of the items. You are rudely told that you will have to take it up with the post office. When the PO has made a delivery, they're done and you will not get anything back. Do not sell anything that you are not willing to lose 100%.
