Virgin Experience Days was launched in March 2001 under the name of Virgin Experience. Originally offering experiences to corporate clients as a way of incentivising staff and customers, the company rapidly expanded to bring the Virgin values of quality, innovation, value for money and fun to the consumer experience gift market.
The summer of 2003 was a real milestone for Virgin Experience. In our continual quest to bring the best experiences and unrivalled service, we joined forces with Acorne Sports. Founded in 1988, Acorne Sports is the original experience company and it’s their stamp of approval that confirms our pedigree and ability to deliver unforgettable experiences. Acorne ’s unrivalled reputation, knowledge and relationship with all of the featured centres made them the perfect partners for Virgin Experience, a company dedicated to making sure customers have the very best time. “I bought an experience for my partner for his birthday to go down the Orbital slide at the Olympic park. It was easy to book once I received the voucher. Staff were friendly and helpful upon arrival. The slide was amazing and we both wanted a second go! The viewing platform was breathtaking and the walk from top to bottom was amazing. We'll definitely go again!”

“Bare minimum served, not the saving you are led to believe. Basic three course meal which you need to purchase sides for. Desert didn't come with cream which made it very dry. Would not recommend.”

“PREMIUM RATE TO BOOK!!! I bought my Husband a Sea Trek at Sea Life Centre Manchester. I had to go to the Virgin website to 'activate' the voucher. It then gave us only ONE way to book the day and that was a premium rate number. WE TRIED FOR 8 WEEKS TO GET THROUGH!!! The message is automated, offering numerous 'press number .. ' for whatever option. Sea Life was the 3rd option then another 4 options down the line. ONLY THEN did I receive a message saying 'We are experiencing unusually high call volumes at the moment ...' and waited and waited. I finally got through on the god knows what attempt after 19 minutes. THIS IS DISGRACEFUL. The woman then wanted to chat about rubbish and I told her to just book me in and stop asking me how I am and am I having a nice day. My phone bills have added up to .. would you believe .... over £25 in call attempts. I asked was there another way to book and she confirmed there was only the premium rate number. I am guessing it is cheaper to book direct with Sea Life Centre. Sea Trek was 10 minutes and tiny but Hubby enjoyed it.”

“Bought many deals from Virgin Experience Days, the River Thames cruise with lunch the latest. Excellent value for money, lovely two course meal with coffee - with window seats. Friendly staff and excellent commentary. Thank you, we had a lovely time.”

“It was my sisters 40th birthday so I was quite nervous going to this resturant due to some of the negative reviews regarding how the 'voucher' resturantees were treated. But my sister and were pleasantly surprised. We received first class service from our waiter Miha- he was friendly and attentive to our needs. It was a relaxed atmosphere. The resturant was busy but fortunately we had a table which wasn't next to others so we had some privacy. Our meal was very tasty and oozed many flavours. Our cocktails were very nice also. Overall it was a lovely evening out. We definitely would come again😊”

“Total rip off, spent £50 voucher on a meal for two at Cafe Rouge. Discovered when asked for the bill that the meal only actually cost £27.50 for two!!”
