Virgin Experience Days was launched in March 2001 under the name of Virgin Experience. Originally offering experiences to corporate clients as a way of incentivising staff and customers, the company rapidly expanded to bring the Virgin values of quality, innovation, value for money and fun to the consumer experience gift market.
The summer of 2003 was a real milestone for Virgin Experience. In our continual quest to bring the best experiences and unrivalled service, we joined forces with Acorne Sports. Founded in 1988, Acorne Sports is the original experience company and it’s their stamp of approval that confirms our pedigree and ability to deliver unforgettable experiences. Acorne ’s unrivalled reputation, knowledge and relationship with all of the featured centres made them the perfect partners for Virgin Experience, a company dedicated to making sure customers have the very best time. “Thoroughly enjoyed my experience of the shard and meal at a Marco Pierre restaurant. There were a couple of improvements that stop this from being a 5 star. I would say that it wasn’t super easy to book- you had send an email to check availability at the shard and then book online/phone for the Marco Pierre. When I went to re-log in to my account with my voucher it said it had already been used so I couldn’t access the information I needed for the restaurant. Once all booked it was great but another improvement could be to make it clear that the closest restaurant is 20 minutes away from the Shard.”

“A perfect Christmas present from our son. Booking the Experience was easy and the instructions given were very clear. Our Experience was a Tour of The Royal Albert Hall followed by Afternoon Tea. It was a brilliant experience! The Tour was fascinating with an excellent tour guide who brought the RAH's history to life. We were fortunate to partake in our tour whilst rehearsals were taking place for that evening's BBC Prom which added to the experience. The Afternoon Tea was served in The Verdi Restaurant by very helpful staff and was delicious with a large choice of different teas. All-in-all a perfect afternoon.”

“Such a great day out at #Bombaysapphire distillery. Beautiful setting in a lovely part of the countryside surrounded by wildflowers and wildlife (spotted a water vole). A very interesting tour. All topped off with a delicious cocktail. What's not to like.”

“Had too gift cards and both expired just 5 months after I got them. VE refused to extend/reissue. Never ever come close to them again.”

“We originally signed up for the Jet Viper trip, but was informed the day before that the boat had some mechanical problems. We were offered the chance to rebook or take a trip on a RIB instead. We opted for the later and thoroughly enjoyed it. The whole experience was well laid out and expertly catered for. The staff were friendly and efficient and the ride was such fun I would definitely go back and try the Viper. Well worth it.”

“I have been to this stadium 4 times before but never on the tour. It is .........AMAZING! Go see one of the most successful clubs on the planet, it’s sure to entice you back to the ‘beautiful game’. What a legacy, what a Club, What a story!”

“My mother and I enjoyed a virgin experience afternoon tea at Cricket St Thomas Chard on Saturday. The service was top rate and the surroundings so beautiful and tranquil. Highly recommended”
