From entering shop at gyle edinburgh, took nearly 3 hours to try renew 3 contracts I have for myself wife&son, turns out it was trainee who dealt with us (yusaf) who eventually got me & wife's contract done (blaming slow /old system) was told son's contract could not be completed that day but not to worry it would be done, hundreds of hours on fone trying to sort problems then £212.50 data charges as data cap not applied despite assurances that it would be again, totally unacceptable service, Hopeless company to deal with.

I have decided to leave Vodafone after nearly 10 years, both myself and my wife ordered iPhone 8 plus, and were sent the iPhone 8 was then told it was to be delivered to my work to be swapped over but only my wife's arrived, when I complained I was hung up on, finally got through again and was told I had to send back in returns bag, until I would get the iPhone 8 plus I originally ordered which would be way over 2 weeks from original order.will now be getting the iPhone 8 plus from O2 tomorrow.

Telesales team are a joke, literally took 15 minutes on the phone and speaking to 2 advisors who couldn't hear me due to massive noise in the background (shouting, whistling and all sorts of banter!) to register my details (new customer). It's literally a joke, I could hear people singing (in groups) and both of my advisors seeemed slow and very distracted (clearly due to that) with one lady I spoke to constantly muting her microphone (because she was laughing, I assume?). It is by a mile the poorest customer service I've experienced calling any company in the UK. Being on hold (constantly) and listening to the hold music was by far the nicest part.

Miss sold contract which I cancelled in time. But they still charging me the money. And I have to go to the shop for everything. They can't do anything online or on the phone

Hi. My ex going to vodafone branch to by sim card for anti lost children smartwatch with GPS tracking, In the branch sold wrong sim card, but they have watch at they eyes. Try to have a chat on support Don`t know nothing. Unprofessional and terrible service/

Cancelled and paid a whopping cancellation fee and was told no more bills. A month later...a bill plus charge for late payment! It's daylight robbery. Nothing you can do when they threaten your credit rating thoguh

Most baddest network I have experienced Customer services never give a solutions when you have a issues Call mostly cut by customer service members Always be Ready for shocking bills Looking forward to end my package soon as possible 😡

Not happy with Vodafone at all I have tried 4 times to upgrade my s6 to the new galaxy note 8 and nothing first they said three days then after two more calls I got told it would be the next day and now it's been over a week and no new phone so I will be calling them tomorrow and I will cancelling all of my devices I have in my house what a joke

awful member of staff who seemed to really enjoy smugly telling me my warranty was void because of the camera lens on the phone was cracked. Even though the phone fault was nothing to do with that. All very well but then to get out her phone and show me the perfect condition of her phone was really patronising and unnecessary then she called me rude for telling her i thought she was patronising. The assistant manager was more understanding. Just beware of vodafone warranties because if your phone has wear and tear it is void.

everything! Awful company - stay away from them! Their help line doesn't work. I try entering my account number and it doesn't work, takes me about 4-5 times for it to work. I have to select option 3 next, type in option 3, the phone hangs up! this has happened on a number of times. Currently on hold as Fibre is not working and I am getting no internet. Useless!!!!! Terrible helpline, terrible company, terrible service! stay away from Vodafone broadband/fibre!!!!

Completely messed up my broaband order leaving me without internet for a month. I spent about 6 hours on the phone to them trying to resolve but gave up in the end. Wish I could cancel my phone contract.

i will never ever have anything to do with Vodafone again my partners contract has been a nightmare.. they charge ridiculously if you go over your tariff.. his last bill was £213 as he apparently went 300 mins over his contract... after the last massive bill he was told they put a cap on it and we are now being told they dont offer that service so it was just utter lies... fuck you Vodafone

I paid but some issue with collection and line being restricted 6 times and could not communicate to my family , could not contact builder and had to pay for nothing as they return back and I had to stay back at work. I mentioned that I pad and sent document but every time someone lift the restriction but last 3 days without connection as line restricted permanently. It's awful , shame , worst ever situation in my life .

By far the wankest company I've ever experienced, disconnected my phone to try and fix a problem and said it would reconnect in 20 minutes and finally after 4 phone calls it is reconncected....9 hours later.

I terminated a mobile broadband contract on the 10th August My contract was on a monthly basis Yesterday 14th September I got a bill for £71.49 After 1 hour and 15 minutes I eventually was told it was a mistake and I would not be charged During 1 call which was eventually cut of I was told they could not find my account number or the mobile number Today the money was taken from my account I phoned and was eventually told they would put the money back into my account but this would not show until nest Tuesday or Wednesday It is a disgrace that I have to wait that length of time for a mistake by Vodaphone

Absolutely awful! Started off paying £44 a month for my phone and data etc, bill crept up to £67! After wrongfully charging me for a Dongle with an extra 1GB of data on! For months and months I had to pay this when I NEVER asked for it. Then I had to wait until I was eligible for free cancellation, Finally now I am able to leave vodafone next month I have managed to get back £35 which they owe me. Vodafone thinks £10 'good will' is acceptable for over 2+ years of awful customer service, wrongful charges. Dreadful

Tamer Admel on the Vodafone team is simply a ledgend guy really helped me out and would like to write a good review regarding he's customer service towards me, very polite, extremely helpful and done me a favour anyone looking for assistance please ask for this Man and say Marley sent you unlike most Other iPhone operatives he's actually uselful and helps get your situation solved so thanks again mate your sincerely Marley woods (ps promote the guy To management he's better than the one assholes you have haha

Vodafone – “The Worst Company in the History of the Earth” Bad customer service and the continuing concern over safe data storage is something that I feel passionately about. After personally going through a very distressing call with the telecoms giant Vodafone I decided that interrupting my usual blogs to inform others about their mistakes would be the right thing to do. It is shocking to see how little some large corporates value their customer service and I personally feel it is only right to highlight some of the fails from my own experience so that others can be extra vigilant and so that maybe businesses can learn. After learning in the classroom about how good customer service should be approached I find it interesting that in reality this is rarely how it happens. Following the massive amounts of data breaches over the last few years it is worrying to discover how a large company can still under value customers concerns over protecting their data and proceed to blatant lies in order to avoid staying past their closing time of 8pm. While many may argue that this is the case of only two call handlers I must highlight where my blog title came from. After the call, I looked at Trust Pilot and saw reviews from more than 4,000 Vodafone customers. Their star rating is 1 out of 5 with a mass of disgruntled customers writing bad reviews. The one that stood out was titled “The Worst Company in the History of the Earth” After reading these I kicked myself for not looking at this first. Customers receive false security thinking that such a large company must be successful for a reason - surely, they must get it right? Another reason for this blog is to carry out a social experiment for my studies. I am curious how much companies do value social media and how they are perceived on these platforms. I would be interested to see if Vodafone do respond to my social posts at all? I would like to invite Vodafone to respond with a formal apology and message of some reassurance to myself and the other thousands of upset customers on Trust Pilot. Will they really listen? Do they actually care? Watch this space….. Why Vodafone Failed …………….. FAIL 1: Vodafone cannot change the you have failed the credit check message because the volume of calls we would then receive would be unmanageable. (Never mind the damage telling people have failed the credit check will cause) FAIL 2: When passing a call from handler to handler no information was provided meaning a further 30 minutes was spent explaining things again. FAIL 3: Mohab called the credit team and then advised us that they had no pending applications at all. This proved that someone had lied to us, either the first lady or Mohab who had given us conflicting information. FAIL 4: After asking to speak to a manager we were told that we were not able to do that because we were not Vodafone customers. Is this any way to speak to potential new customers? FAIL 5: After continually assuring us they held no personal data on us we received texts and emails that later enabled us to log on and see our information. After this Mohab was able to read out bank details and much more. A distressing result. FAIL 6: After being on the phone for an hour and a half Mohab told us that he could not continue the call as they closed at 8pm and it was then 8:10pm. Not a good way to deal with concerned customers.
