“Just began to build a garage gym. Many mistakes may have been made in hindsight but definitely not with the Alpha Bumper Plates. I absolutely love these things. They have been in use for about 4 months now and my only regret was not getting a Vulcan bar to go with the set of weights I got. As a bonus my son is getting to test them out for his first ever experience in weight lifting.”

“The Vulcan Thrasher bike is simply one of the best resistance bikes I've ever used (and I've used many). It's compact, solidly built, aesthetic, and most of all, comfortable! So many bikes resort to tiny, rock-hard seats that hurt to sit on, but the Thrasher's is wide, plush, and thick enough that I barely notice I'm sitting on it--this is key for long, grueling sessions where a nagging seat pain can be the difference between pushing yourself to the max. I love it for this reason alone, but if you do HIIT, this thing will exhaust you within 20 mins. The seat adjustments are great as well, though I'd have preferred a little more horizontal adjustment flexibility (to come closer to the handles). The unit is so well-crafted and overbuilt that it doesn't rock at all during use; it's actually very quiet, too--I can't hear it at all with headphones on. While it can be a little tricky to unpack and assemble, that is a minor gripe with an otherwise wonderful product. Given how reasonably priced this bike is and how small it is, I'd say it's perfect for any home or commercial gym.”

“Please don't misunderstand, I really like this bench. However, when unboxing the bench, the shrink-wrap package that contains all the bolts and washers had already been opened, the parts were all over the box, luckily none had fallen out during shipping. Assembly was simple and straightforward, the adjustable bench is very stable and exactly what I was looking for, worth the money.”

“These Alpha plates are awesome! The fit and finish is really nice, plus they just look so dang cool. The compound that Vulcan uses is like a deadblow hammer on my rubber floor. Very little bounce. I would absolutely buy these again. One of the plates arrived with a slight cosmetic issue and they were quick to work with me on exchanging it. These plates, as well as this company, are top notch.”

“Shipping was outstanding. I placed my order early on Wednesday morning. Bumper plates were shipped later that day. Arrived at my house on Thursday. (I live about a 3-4 hour drive away.) If I ever need more bumper plates, Vulcan will be the standard that I compare other companies to.”

“Just got the Absolute black oxide power bar. Shipping was good, came in a few days, I think 3. It was packaged better than other bars I’ve gotten, it had foam around the shaft, collars, and sleeve ends. There were some scratches and scuffs that were clearly there before shipping though, I wasn’t super happy about that. The bar itself is very nice. The sleeves have a unique rubbed pattern on, I believe, a matte chrome coating. The collars are also unique, with Vulcan lasered on, which is very nice looking. The shafts is a black oxide coating, which is obviously very thin, which gives the knurl a great feel, but isn’t very oxidation resistant. I’m not sure if it was rust, but there was some brown buildup on the shaft last night, maybe 2 weeks after I got the bar. It might’ve been caused by sweat or humidity. Wipes off easily with 3in1 oil. The knurl is perfect for what I want. Very grippy fine mountain knurl without beefing sharp or aggressive, and passive knurl in the center, which I like a lot because I front squat. It wouldn’t be great for gripping your back during back squats though. The sleeves have a little lateral movement to them, so not as tight of a tolerance as I’d like, but nothing unusual, similar to other bars. Overall, good bar, I just don’t love having a coated bar. I’d love to get this exact bar in stainless steel.”
