BUYER BEWARE. There are multiple false claims being made by this website. Firstly they are dishonestly claiming "free returns" but that is innacurate. Shipping/tracking fees are up to you. They wont charge you a restocking fee, which is expected but they advertise free returns like Amazon, except they don't honor that standard. Its up to you to cover all of yhe costs. Next they are lying about a 5% discount for signing up to their news letter. They dont send a discount code like everyone else, instead its a link that doesnt work regardless of device usef. Dont waste your time, there are far better retailers to do business.

I considered selling a Longines HydroConquest 43MM in pristine condition, with tags, original box and papers, not even a year old used twice, a watch that cost £1700 in retail. these scammers offered me £550, an absolute insult, makes you feel like you are selling something stolen. Do not deal with these people.

Haven't received my watch back after sending it to them. After a clear offer from there said I heard nothing back. First Daylan was my contact Now I am getting apologies emails from a Shaida that it is in progress. What are they progressing since weeks? Just send the watch back! I don't Trust that I will get my watch back in the same condition if ever I gave given them another week to send the watch or hand it over to one of my colleagues - if not I will call the police and my lawyer. This company should be ashamed of how they treat their customers ... nothing g is as watchfinder is promising on their webside and videos

Accepted their offer for the sale of my watch, waited a few days for them to send me the collection kit. I scheduled the collection of the watch and the collection was missed. In the meantime, they thought the watch was on the way and they sent me an email saying the market was reducing and the watch had decreased in value by 2k (in the space of a day) and therefore the old offer was reduced. This is fraud, Avoid selling watches to these robbers. They seem to use this tactic with everyone from looking online.

BEWARE!! I purchased a new Rolex from an appointed Rolex store in June 2022. After buying the watch I decided that I didn't actually like it, however it is still as new with the original stickers, card etc. Not being sure as to the best way to sell it i decided to go to Watchfinder. I emailed pictures etc and was contacted by one of the buyers (Nicola). She offered me a figure of £5400-£5600 subject to inspection. I arranged to drop the watch at the store the following week for it to be sent away for inspection to confirm it was genuine. Before going I received another email from the same person stating that due to stocking levels their figure had reduced to £5200.00. I emailed her back to say that as long as that figure was set I would agree to let it go and took the watch to the store (a one hour drive). 7-days later I received another email saying that, again, due to stocking levels, they had further reduced the figure to £4750.00, at which time I asked them to return the watch and I drove the 1-hour distance to collect it. After checking the watch over with one of the sales assistants I noticed that the original store receipt was not with the watch. I now have to contact the Rolex store that I bought the watch from to request a duplicate. My advice is don't waste your time trying to sell your watch to watchfinder.

Spoke to Jay about buying a watch. He never called me back. Terrible service and I would not buy dog food from them

NOT TO BE TRUSTED Having filled out an online enquiry form to sell my Rolex steel and gold Submariner, I received a written estimate from Watchfinder &Co to purchase my watch. As I had never sold a watch predominately through an internet based company before I decided to contact their outlet in Birmingham and spoke to a Josh Morrewski who was very convincing about dealing with the company and assured me that it was normal procedure to send such a valuable item by courier and duly arranged for DHL to collect the watch from me. After handing my watch over to the courier and whilst still in transit I received an email from a person called Nicola at Watchfinder informing me that they no longer wished to purchase my watch. Straightaway I tried to call Watchfinder without success. After several attempts I came to the conclusion that the email must have been planned to be sent last thing on a Friday afternoon at 5.38 pm as there would be no one available to answer the phone and explain the appalling and untrustworthy conduct of why they arranged to collect my watch and then decided that they would cancel the purchase order for it. Having not had any success in speaking with anybody at Watchfinder I called the Birmingham outlet only to be told that the person who sent me the email would not be available until the Monday. Still in shock over the treatment I have experienced and In an attempt to avoid anybody else suffering the same fate I have decided to write this review and warn others about the disgusting and appalling experience I have had dealing with Watchfinder and that they are not to be trusted. At the time of writing this review I have not received my watch back nor have I have been advised by Watchfinder when I may get it. The outcome of this shady behaviour by Watchfinder will be continued with another review as and when and assuming I get my watch back.

I don't understand with their ridiculous valuations how they sell any watches at all ! Right now there is a Breitling heritage on there I've been looking for (retail £6,995) selling for £11.2k apparently on sale with a price of £12,400 crossed through simply because as a limited edition it is sold out ! That might push the price up but Breitlings don't nearly double in price! It would never be even close to the £12.4k OR the alleged 'sale price' of £11.2k. If you want a watch from WF, find their price then go to Ebay through their authentication service so you know it's genuine, and saved many thousands !!

They always provide a final offer extremely lower than the offer estimate range that they provide you with. After you give them your watch for sale after having received an offer estimate range from them, they keep the watch with them for several days and when you follow-up with them for your final offer they give you an extremely lower final offer. I sold a solid 18 karat Rolex president day date watch to them with a solid 18 karat gold bracelet in perfect condition. They quoted £10000/- to me initially and when I gave them the watch for sale they kept the watch with them for around 14 days and then gave me a final quote of just £8000/- stating that the watch was on a leather strap rather than the 18 karat gold bracelet. This is just cheating a customer with extremely deceptive malpractices. I have similar very poor experiences related to another 5-6 watches sold to Watchfinder&Co UK over the past 2 months. There should be legal action that gets taken against Watchfinder&Co UK for cheating and taking advantage of customers who expect a fair deal in times of urgency when they sell their precious watches for an urgent need of money.

Tried to trade in my Tudor Black Bay against a nice IWC Pilot they had but alas they offered me an insulting trade in price? £1570 for a 2021 Tudor Black Bay they were selling for £3000.I was very disappointed because I have bought and traded with them for three watches before? and have always received excellent service. I rang them up and they said they too many Tudors for sale hence the offer? Yet there w as no Tudor 2021 for sale at £1570 only £3000!!!!!!!!

RUN...RUN from this place...sent pics via web site, received an offer, accepted said offer, sent 2nd watch for an offer, pics, etc. Sent watches to them. Again, not very good communication, in fact non-existent!! HORRIBLE customer service. 6 weeks in and had to call and speak to supervisor to get things straightened out...these are not cheap watches and get the impression that WF thinks that customers don't matter. If you're looking for a great selling experience, I along with others who have provided reviews, say shop elsewhere!!

I was offered £18,000 - £20,000 by Watchfinder for my Patek Philippe watch but I received several offers of £30,000 or more elsewhere . In my instance Watchfinder were not remotely competitive.

Just had a valuation from this rip off company for my Breitling, New and Unworn purchased in Oct 21, they offered me less than half of the purchase price. Obviously they consider the people that make the mistake of dealing with them are just gullible fools ? DO NOT BUY A WATCH FROM THESE SHARKS AS THE PRICE THEY PURCHASED IT FOR IS PROBABLY 50% of their asking pice ?? OR EVEN LESS ??

Lied and deceitful when valuing my watch not once but twice. Didn’t tell me it was a limited edition and yet advertising it as a limited edition with an extortionate mark up. Ripping the public off as well. Terrible terrible company. Do not ever use.

Rip off merchants who offer you half the value of the watch then sell it on at double the rate.

They offered me half the price of what they were selling identical models for. I felt cheated, when I complained they said we have to make money. So whatever they offer you be prepared for them to sell it for double their buy price. Back street traders in my opinion. Don’t sell them your valuable timepiece believe me you can do sooo much better !

i both more then 1 watch, in the years, I was always a happy customers... today I-m not.... try to part exchage with a watch wort almost 15000 euro.....the say after inspection.... first estamation 7000/7500 euro...... your kidding..... I felt I was being taken for a ride, it almost seems as if those who want to sell have an extreme need for money, that without them, they can't feed their families, plus having proposed the watch as a basis for exchange... they would have made their profit on the 3 watches I wanted.... I can understand that they would have offered me something less, perhaps with a difference to be added, on my part.... but to offer me half the value...is a mockery and as such.... this is the consequence of my not positive review, yes I was a customer first, very satisfied, now I am a customer first, lost, not happy and offended. goodbye
