“We had a wonderful stay here. Cabin is great. Only feedback we would give is that twin rooms have no drawers to put clothing. Living area is huge and could have afforded to be a couple of feet smaller to give the twin rooms a bit more room. Great breakfast in The Inn. Fab boat hire. Very happy with our choice”

“Waveney River Centre is a lovely relaxing break which is exactly what we needed. The dog walking paths weren’t labelled clearly enough and the country road coming in and out were a nightmare as we had a tire get caught letting someone pass and had to get it replaced.”

“Long walk to carry camping equipment with no car allowed. Would help to have trolley available. No food served unless table booked 24 hours ahead. Would help to know in advance.”

“Just spent a great weekend at Waveney River Centre in one of the Escape Pods, my 4 year old grandaughter especially loved the play park and swimming pool, the Waveney Inn had a scrumtious menu with plenty of choice ..see you next year”

“The staff were very helpful. Room nicely decorated and very clean. Facilities good. We had a small issue, the staff were efficient and quickly sorted the problem. A little out of the way but we'll located if you have a car with some great beauty spots a short journey away.”

“The place is lovely for family's we had the perfect weekend hear And would return. Only downfall there is no security on site so when groups of people go a bit to far there is nobody to control it”

“I have been to Waveney river centre twice now and have enjoyed both stays. It’s very peaceful and a tranquil setting. The amenities are good and the Waveney inn serves good reasonably priced food. Would definitely come back to stay again and recommend to anyone.”

“Rating was difficult to decide. Firstly we had a great stay even though it rained every single day. When we pulled up to our lodge, I wasn't impressed, all the paint was flaking off, our decking railings were all broken, so even though it is not far to the ground anyone could have injured themselves, we did report this to a lady cleaner but we had no one come to check it out. Our hot tub, which is one of the main reason for booking, had a horrible film on the seats, we didn't report, as we didn't want to lose the use of it for the rest of the stay, also some of the jets didn't work, when we managed to open them we soon found out why, they were all bunged up, all black gooey stuff came out. However, the inside was amazing, clean, tidy, lovely size, bedrooms sound proof, how do I know, both myself and my friend snore badly, we slept in separate rooms and didn't disturb each other at all. Unlike a lot of lodges, especially Centre Parcs, the oven worked amazingly. Only small complaint indoors was there was a tiny frying pan, when the lodge is meant for 4 people, I made a Lasagne, difficult. Wi fi signal intermittent. Restaurant short of staff, but the staff that were there, were absolutely amazing, especially when they had to deal with some people who were ignorant and arrogant, (man in navy blue jumper grey hair, smoking, blonde wife, thought they were the most important humans on earth). I presume duty manager it was appeared, fair hair, lean't on bar, waitress had to speak to an unhappy customer, who wanted to speak to duty manager, he made her say he wasn't there, chicken. Anyway the two who were in there were very polite and worked very hard to try and accommodate as many as they could. But cutting to the quick I would return, but you should've tidied exteriors whilst we were on lockdown, people could have worked alone.”

“We have been twice now to the Waveney River Centre and, each time, we have had a week of glorious sunshine. I think the sun always shines on the Waveney! The facilities are excellent and it is great having the little ferry to get across the river to explore the marshes on the other side. Staff have always been helpful and friendly. Cannot really fault anything. I would certainly recommend the Waveney River Centre to any of my friends or family.”

“Lodge lovely. Did have few niggles, dirty bath mat, pub not delivering meals as stated, which left us with no tea on our last night!! But apart from that would recommend. Very remote, but that was fine for us.”

“Great accommodation, very spacious and catered to all our needs. The added luxury of a hot tub was brilliant. Some kitchen utensils missing that would have helped. Location on the river was fantastic to enjoy the use of our paddle board and kayak. We also spent a day touring on the river with a hire boat which was fantastic. Wildlife and fishing are superb. Very peaceful and relaxing!”

“We stayed for 3 nights at the end of June. We were in our motorhome and our pitch was in the Kingfisher area on a raised level It was a well spaced pitch with hedging for privacy between the vans. The facilities were excellent with large shower rooms and hot water. We hired a small boat for the day and the staff were very knowledgeable and helpful. We didn’t use the pool but it looked great for the kids. The one slight negative was the small onsite shop was very limited for supplies. The Waveney River Centre is very isolated with narrow access roads so nipping out for supplies was not really an option. A better stocked shop with a few newspapers would have made all the difference. All in all though it was an excellent site we will definitely visit again.”
