Great site next to the river, showers, toilets, pool all very clean with sensible measures in place for COVID across the site. Thanks for a great break.

Lovely place in a great location with direct access to the broads. Decent onsite facilities (albeit Covid restrictions) and the lodge was excellent especially the hot tub!!!

The pool arrangements are extremely poor. We booked in Feb and paid £78 for 1 night for 2 adults and a 5 year old in an escape pod which was supposed to include pool access with the check-in time of 13:00. Firstly the email confirmation I received 1 week previously stated the wrong check-in time so I had to phone them up. On the day we arrived on the dot and it took 20 minutes to be seen by someone in reception (2 people in front of us). Then when we got to the pool it was closed for lunch so we had to wait for it to open again and when it did we were informed it was fully booked until 12:00 the following day. Our checkout time was 11:00 so there was no chance of getting in. My son was in tears. I appreciate there are restrictions due to lockdown but it simply wasn’t fair. It was not possible to book a time slot in advance before we got there. The riverside and marshes are very picturesque and the escape pod was ok (right next to the pool-ironic) fairly spacious and dry but the blackout blind was broken and one of the doors didn’t shut properly. The step up is also quite steep so you have to be careful. We had lunch in the Waveney Inn, which was nice but the breakfast is quite overpriced if you order anything other than the full English. The country lanes on the approach to the site are also extremely narrow in places and 4 times I had to reverse over 200+ metres to find a passing place. Thank god we were only in a car. Never again.

I was surprised that the shower block doors weren’t propped open to ventilate in between uses. I understand they have a coding system but quite often they aren’t locked so given the situation I thought this would have been essential, and for this reason was reluctant to use them. On a positive note, the take away service from the restaurant was great

Excellent facilities which were well maintained in line with Coronavirus guidelines. Was great to use the swimming pool with small numbers and the 30 minute sessions were just right. Lovely place to paddle from and for kids to mess around in the river. Good pitch size and Teal pitches next to facilities- but also next to playground so very noisy until late.

We loved it as much this time as we did the last time hence our second visit. We stayed in yurts which we highly recommend ! Lovely walking around the site, used the restaurant on a couple of occasion which were both good service. Unfortunately we were unable to book a slot for the pool but fully understand that this time of year is a busy one. Thanks again to you all at Waveney and will defo recommend to friendS and family !

Just got home after a great 5 night camping stay. Our pitch (coot 6) was perfect, if we ever returned Iwould definitely book that spot again. I can see that some of the other pitches are a bit cramped but coot 6 was amazing. All the staff were so cheerful and polite. Nothing was too much trouble. The restrictions in place for Covid were well thought out and adhered to by all. The campsite was clean and all the facilities were regularly sanitised. Love the shower/wet room facilities, although there were a few of them that could With some TLC. We had a fantastic stay, the campsite, staff and location were all 10/10!

Really lovely camp site and we have enjoyed staying there many times and we will return in the future but this year there were a number of dogs off lead although they tell you to keep your dog on a lead.

Had a great time in a very clean well equipped lodge! The staff are uber helpful and polite! This is a perfect location for water lovers. A little fishing, day boat on the Broads and only 20 minutes from the beach. We also Glamped here last year and the facilities are great for that too. The added bonus of an indoor swimming pool is much appreciated! The onsite pub is ideal for those not wanting to venture out of the centre. Great holiday had by the whole family!!

Nice place to stay camping place is very clean and tidy. Food in the restaurant seems a bit basic tho and I think £42 pound a night to park your camper van is too expensive. This is what is letting you down as most sites are £22

Very friendly staff, excellent service in the restaurant every time we went, good food too, breakfast was top notch! private showers, well designed layout, clean, comfortable escape pod, scenic location, lovely heated swimming pool, the only downside was that the tents were extremely crammed together with not enough space for socialising or chairs outside which I was very surprised at. The cars were right up next to the tents in some cases. It was not a big area overall and it's busy a lot of the time. Bittern pitch was much quieter, no power hook up but less noise, and right next to fields, lovely!. The escape pods are very close to the children's play area, so doesn't really feel like an escape when kids are screaming outside first thing in the morning. Not a complaint, but feel this could be mentioned on the website so people are aware this is not a quiet escape pod away from the noise. It's quite misleading. However, great for those with kids as they can watch over them while they play. Ferry was good, again staff brilliant.

The Heron caravan pitches are just too small. Unless you were a tent pitched near the waters edge it felt like being pitched in a car park. Also having to pay to use the slipway for you own kayaks etc is not right. It should be included in the cost of the campsite.

Such a lovely place, all very clean and felt very covid-safe, with special measures taken to ensure guests safety. The lodge was spotless, the hot tub a lovely touch, the kids enjoyed the swimming pool and the food at the Inn was great!

Nice stay but I felt the toilets seemed a bit tired and need of an update.
