“Had a wonderful stay. Clean lodge, Jacuzzi was lovely. Had to call the maintainance man once at 7pm and he was prompt on arriving and sorting out the Jacuzzi. Great for our 2 dogs, so much that one refused to get out of the car when we arrived home! Easy foot ferry to access the oulten broads reserve for miles of walks. Only used the Inn once for breakfast but it was very nice. I think the best part of Waveney is the reception staff. They are an absolute credit. Nice, sincere, helpful and knowledgeable. Will be back soon”

“An absolutely idyllic location. Sat in the hot tub watching the wildlife including barn owls, swans and deer over the marsh land. What more could you ask for!”

“We were delighted with our "free" raffle prize two-night stay. Delightful room and fabulous shower room - with an impressive drain that really works! It was so comfortable and we enjoyed being looked after. All the staff were so friendly and helpful - and the sunshine was an added bonus.”

“Just finished a 4 night break at a fantastic venue with great facilities wonderful staff and an idyllic location with something for everyone The centre has a reception with friendly staff always willing to help next to a small, well equipped shop. The bar and restaurant is a wonderful place to spend time after a busy day with great service and varied menu with the quality of food outstanding. The outside seating area is a great place to enjoy the sunset and look out over the marina. There is a heated in door swimming pool which out of season is never over busy which is close to a well equipped children’s play area. There are toilets and shower rooms available with the shower rooms being clean albeit a little tired. Boat hire available from Easter to explore the broads for 1/2 day to multiple day options suitable for couples and small groups with all boats in excellent condition. Cycle hire available close to the water taxi available to take you the short hop across the river where you can take a relatively short walk through Carlton marshes to Oulton Broad approx 3 miles or a longer 7 mile walk to Beccles. Fantastic footpaths through the countryside which is teaming with lots of wildlife from Chinese water deer to a wide variety of birds. We can’t praise the staff highly enough and the facilities available at a little gem of a site and will definitely be returning this year”

“Regular visitor to yourselves over the years and cannot fault the accommodation and facilities but the pub isn’t great to be honest and we always travel to St Olaves to the Bell which is superb but that doesn’t warrant a lower score than 5/5. Staff very friendly”

“An absolutely fabulous site, everything is kept in emaculate condition, the gardens, facilities, chalets and the marina. The staff are friendly, helpful and very professional. After spending eight weeks there I have nothing but praise for the whole set up, the owners should be very proud of their excellent staff.”

“Very enjoyable family break with great lodges, swimming pool and very welcoming reception staff also make sure you have a meal in the Waveney Inn pub as the food was amazing and again great friendly bar staff and we will definitely return in the future.”

“Love this place, I had an unfortunate accident on my way into the park and hit the kerb and completely destroyed one side of my motor mover, luckily they had a great team of engineers who took the time to put things right the reception staff where super to. After putting our caravan right and going the extra mile to help us we went on to have a great holiday, it was an amazing place and we had a superb holiday there, free swimming pool, free games room an amazing pub and a shop on site, my only problem was there is no cash machine there. That aside it’s got amazing views and a great park for kids and lots of great walks and lots of stuff for everyone and all ages. Thank for making our holiday a great one.”

“Lodges are gorgeous a real home from home experience. A relaxing break away with a great hot tub which was loved by both adults and children. Quality time with the family, made use of the swimming pool. Waveney Inn serves delicious food, a good choice, piping hot. All in all we had a brilliant time!”

“Situated in a very quiet and lovely spot the River Centre is ideal for kids - swimming facilities, hot tubs, play areas and most Norfolk/Suffolk attractions reachable within an hours drive. The Centre itself boasts a great pub with a superb menu and a shop for those last minute/forgotten items. The accommodation we stayed in very spacious sleeping 6, clean and very modern. It warms up very quickly and provides a very relaxing living space. We would return in a flash.”
