Lovely campsite, stayed in one of the pods. Children disappointed they couldn’t get in Eddies secret garden as had been out to get nets. Food in Waveney inn nice, breakfast a little disappointing tho Overall - good stay

A lovely setting but needs a refurb of the facilities-showers and toilets.Small jobs such as loose tiles and broken locks are easily rectified but have been neglected. I do not agree that people who are in the lodges get exclusive use of the pool after 5pm as this creates a discriminatory environment where caravanners are not treated equally. We found the staff to be very friendly and enjoyed the food at the pub. To attract caravanners who are used to a high standard of washing facilities please take note on the points made. However we enjoyed our stay as it was our first trip to Norfolk which was impressive.

Lovely site with great food and friendly staff ! Unfortunately, the most noisy and rude campers I have ever come across ! And no security or warden to ask people to keep the noise down. It seems talking at the top of your voice and kids shouting at 06.30 is fine for some. But not for us. This needs to be addressed because it means we will not be returning.

We stayed in the escape pods which were lovely but incredibly hot even with the windows open all night. Everything about the site was good but with a little extra it could have been excellent. To put this in context: the food in the restaurant was lovely but the fish and pizza had both been cooked for a few minutes too long....not burnt but well done. The washrooms were spotlessly clean after the cleaner had worked their magic in the morning but by mid afternoon they would have benefited from another clean. The play area was lovely for the children and the park was very quiet and in a lovely area.

We were very pleased with our room, but the bathroom was difficult for my disabled husband. No hand hold round the loo. Also only one key fob very inconvenient for lights we recommend two. Your staff we excellent. Hekoful, thoughtful and welcoming

Lovely location. Pub food was very good. Although bar service was poor on 18.8.18 (our only visit). Showers were nice and warm, however, lack of ventilation means constant, high humidity in the wet rooms - extremely uncomfortable. Could have been cleaner also.. Pool was absolutely disgusting. Puddles of filthy water everywhere. The hot tub was brown. Pool water murky. Extremely unpleasant pool experience. It would be good to see a map of the site on the web site as then we could have decided where we wanted to pitch our tent/which pitch size to choose. All photos are the same for each pitch, so you don’t get any idea where you’ll be located. It’s odd that you’d have the glamping pods right by the kids park. Not the relaxing experience/atmosphere you’d expect with glamping.

From the moment we arrived, the ladies in reception made us feel very welcome and even the rain did not ruine our stay. We stayed one night in a pod, perfect for the children to play on the park right in front of us and we made use of the swimming pool. We will be back again very soon and recommending to others!

The first time myself and my partner camped alone. We had an amazing time and really loved the place, so much so we booked in with our children for the summer holidays. This time we were a little disappointed. The first day the hot tub was closed, the secret garden was closed due to a wasps nest. We were not forewarned and camped close by where we were regularly bothered by the wasps. We stayed all week and the wasp problem was not dealt with. The toilets this time were also dirty when the camp was less busy. It seemed like the frequency of cleaning had been reduced. In the laundrette one washer and one dryer was broken meaning we didn't get a chance to use the working ones as they were always full. The staff however are so friendly and polite, it's just a shame those small things prevented a 5 this time.

We really enjoyed our wonderful stay as per usual nothing was to difficult The staff were fantastic in all areas you made our stay very welcoming and your friendly atmosphere makes it all the more better James we have noticed a lot of ungrateful feed back on all the sites may we just say the friendly atmosphere of all your staff makes it a much more pleasurable stay The food on every occasion has been wonderful Your management teams and the Staff need a very big pat on the back and encouragement to keep doing what they are doing Our Dogs loved their stay with you and I would like to thank you for being Dog friendly a major talking point between all us dog owners on how rare it is to find somewhere so dog friendly Thank you for our Lovely and worry Free Holiday we are coming back next year regards Paul & Amanda Jones and our two Cocker Spaniels Abbie and Dexter

geldeston lodge that we stopped in was amazing and the welcome package was a nice touch would definately reccommend not impressed with the road to the centre and the site was seemingly snided with wasps due to a nest which did spoil it quite a lot we did notice that it was trying to be sorted though.

Stayed 15th to 17th of August we booked through Booking.com who shouldn't have let us book but Kelly contacted us from The Waveney Inn and managed to het us another room which at short notice was brilliant customer service. The hotel was spotless and all the staff could not have done more to make our stay an excellent one. The food was lovely and we hired a boat out for one morning and again staff were excellent. Kelly and all the staff are a credit to The Waveney River Centre and we would not hesitate to book again. Thanks to all for a great stay.

I was very disappointed as the main reason I booked this site was because of the 10pm no noise policy. The first night I arrived the noise on the camp did not settle until 11.30pm. After questioning this with a member of staff the next day, it appeared that was only one warden at night. So the the ability to police this policy would be very difficult. The following nights were slightly better but still disruptive with children screaming in the middle of the night. The last night I finally lost my cool and had to politely ask the next door campers to turn off the music they decided to start playing at 10pm. Unfortunately one of the noisiest campsites I have stayed at. Pitches were very tight too and extremely close to each other. On the plus toilets/showers were reasonably clean. Children enjoyed the park too.

On the whole a very enjoyable stay but spoilt from a high volume of wasps , which resulted in myself and young 6 year grandson being stung and traumatised, in the four days we were there. Suggest putting up wasp traps as other camps and public places have done on posts or in trees . Should we see this change we would return again Thank you Kind regards

We stayed in a lodge, it was beautiful and very peaceful. The only negative for us was the late check in and very early check out, you loose hours of your little break! Also not provided with enough toilet roll or cleaning products.

We travelled to the Waveney River Centre by river on our day boat and booked into the hotel for 3 nights. Our hotel room was very comfortable, the food and service in the restaurant was very good and it is a beautiful setting. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed a relaxing dip in the pool.

Centre good facilities that kept our grandsons happy, fishing boating. Lodge was OK but overall could do with some TLC especially shower room and kitchen.
