Beautiful campsite, clean toilets and showers. Lovely views! Just need to put some oil on the swing - we will not forget the squeak that woke us up every morning!

Great overnight stay! Reception staff very helpful, toilets and showers immaculately clean. Lovely place to kayak, great atmosphere sitting outside at the pub, busy but quiet. Idyllic, even during these difficult Social Distancing times. Thank you.

Lovely site which is beautifully maintained. Our lodge (Bluebell Lodge) was exactly as expected with wonderful views. Great for families with children of all ages. We'll be back!

Great travel instructions sent to us via email got us safely at the site with our tourer caravan, the reception was closed (After 7pm) but a friendly staff member at the pub pointed us in the right direction and also asked if we wanted a table for the night. The site is very clean and well kept and the toilet area was very clean. We used our own shower. The campsite was full but didn’t feel too busy up at the tourer pitches, the tents area appeared a little more frenetic but well kept and tidy. We paddle boarded and fished on the river, the kids even took the opportunity to use a quiet time in the marina to play on the paddle boards. The young lady in the sweet shop was very friendly. The boat owners in the marina tended to drive past the pitch areas a little too fast and kicked up dust etc. But this was our only very small gripe. Overall we had a fantastic, peaceful week at the centre and would love to come again very soon. Best days out were a canoe trip from Wroxham to Coltishall and a paddle board trip from Waveney to Oulton Broad. Thanks Waveney River Centre look forwards to our next trip

Fantastic stay as always. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. The site was really clean and communication about changes and safety during the Coronavirus pandemic were excellent. A wonderful week camping with the family !

Fantastic facility in the heart of the Broads. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful, facilities are great and whilst the shower block is becoming a little tired it is still above most sites and everything is kept very clean. We had food at the Waveney Inn and it was excellent. The pool is very good and we were delighted that it had been reopened. We came when Covid procedures were in place and it has been managed very well and provides you with a lot of confidence. I would highly recommend this site and we will be returning.

Lodge was lovely bushes could do with getting cut a bit as sitting at table outside very high. Pity due to covid 19 couldn't use the swimming pool and social distancing. Staff very helpful in the restaurant and bar outside sitting area. We loved the hot tub.

Great from the word go. Dave who welcomed us in the Touring field was very friendly and helpful(all week in fact). All was safe and clearly marked due to Covid 19. Had stayed before many years ago and will definitely be back. Stayed on Kinfisher1 pitch.

Absolutely fantastic !!! Loved every minute of our stay..... unfortunately we couldn’t hire a boat as we had hoped due to them all being booked out but luckily we do not live that far away and we will definitely be back and more organised next time !!! Beautiful location right on the river and very friendly and helpful staff x

We were dissapointed with a few factors, I will start with the good! Rooms nicely decorated and clean, good social distance measures(when people abide by them) most staff in restaurant polite, chef seems to be in charge! We arrived at 6pm on first night and no one to great us at reception so keys had been left with restaurant a nice lady showed us to our room, we went to the restaurant and had to wait for table to become available which we understood, however the wait for food and drinks took longer than expected (not many in the restaurant) breakfast was worse we seemed to be forgotten about it took 1 and a quarter hours in total and it was mediochre. No eye contact from staff at reception, I even had to ask if payment had been taken, there was no information explained about facilities available and if we needed any help with anything, receptionist had head down and on phone each time, no eye contact and no smile! Breakfast this morning was quicker but one pastry was raw. Overall not a great experience for the cost, we won't be coming back and will not recommend.

Well, when we arrived our pitch was pointed out to us and we were told that someone would be along to welcome us and to run through things. Nobody came. We had to go to Reception after we pitched up and were told that the on site shop was closed due to Covid19, but the walk in Kiosk who frequently had more than one customer inside at any one time, was open. If Social distancing was in place, we could not understand why the shop could not have open as well, after all, other sites are managing it. We were not told that the shop would be closed, and we had brought little provisions with us. So we had to source a shop off site, which was a bit of a task after an already long day. Woke to use the shower facility, doors coded. Nobody told us about that, not even Reception staff the day before hand. Had a to sort that one out as well. Last night of our stay, decided to have a meal in the onsite pub. Ordered, after 30 minutes of waiting for a member of staff, to sit for another hour and 20 minutes and still no food!! Not pleased when you have hungry children. We complained and we received our drinks on the house, but we cancelled the meal as we had lost faith!! Still, lovely settling, just a shame really

A beautiful and tranquil place to spend a couple of nights. Cleanliness was A* and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Food from the Waveney inn was fresh and worth every penny.

Once again we had a fabulous stay camping at the Wavney River Centre, the 8th year In a row. The camp site was clean and tidy and so was the toilet/shower block. COVID was not an issue as everything had been thought off. The only disappointment was the Waveny Inn, we had a table booked for 7.30 pm on Friday night and didn’t receive our meal until 9.10pm, and the cost of the food was more expensive than most London restaurants. Saying that, we still intend to come back next year. Many thanks,Steve Theobald.

Very good facilities, especially the heated floors in the toilets, very clean. Nice plot by the river, quiet and peaceful. Unfortunately reception was shut when we arrived (7.30pm) so we didn’t get much information on what to do, luckily a lady from the pub showed us where we could pitch our tent, but it would be helpful if reception could remain open later. Overall a lovely weekend in a beautiful spot!
