Good facilities with the Pool, Inn and hot tub but on the first morning we woke up to no heating and no electric and the out of hours number turned off!

Disappointed that the shop was shut due to WiFi failure - the nearest shop was in fact Beccles. The lack of WiFi availability over the whole weekend was unhelpful. I tried to pay for the improved WiFi but the connection I had would not allow me to complete the transaction.

Lovely cottage just needs a good spring clean lots of cob webs and dusty floor dishwasher was usable. Cleaners just need to put more effort when cleaning the cottage. But these are minor complaints and wouldn’t put us off coming back as we had a lovely time and nice food and service in the Waveney inn bar

The Aft Cabin is an excellent family room with plenty of space for us and our 6 and 3 year olds. Comfortable beds, very clean with all the facilities you need. Helpful staff good food and a more than ample cooked breakfast. Great if you want to experience a boat for the day and more.

This is a really impressive and beatifully designed ground-floor apartment right on the water front. There are stunning views of boats and fields from four of the bedrooms and the main living area. It is modern, light and MUCH bigger than the photos make it appear with plenty of room for a large group to spread out without being on top of each other. The bedrooms are large and don't feel cramped in any way. The beds were comfortable and supportive without being hard - we always take a matress topper with us to rental properties, but didn't need it this time. The hot tub, situated in your own small, private garden is HUGE and fits 7-8 easily. The swimming pool, shop and Waveney Inn are only a few tens of yards away, but they are not intrusive on the peace and tranquility of the place. I really can't say just how impressed we were with the apartment. Really, it should have 5 stars but for the fact that at the time of this review the dishwasher, which is almost a necessity with large groups, was broken, and the few kitchen knives were completely blunt and would not even cut raw chicken (one had a broken handle). But don't let this put you off. If you've got a large group and are looking for a high-quality, luxury apartment in a quiet location with loads of room AND with access to the broads, you wont' be disappointed. Oh, and don't forget that lovely hotub for lazing in whilst looking at the stars!

We stayed in The Leam and it was wonderful. Great lodge, clean and comfortable. The hot tub was a great addition to our family holiday. The Waverly Inn could have been better appointed. No attempt to decorate for halloween which was a disappointment. It was cold and uninviting, however the staff were very friendly. All in all a good stay though.

Just back from a four day break. Lovely quiet site, the only negative is lack of changing facilities at the pool.

Excellent facilities - Waveney Inn - excellent food (although person who served us was initially quite ignorant). The Hadiscoe Spa was excellent with lovely views of the marshland. We will return 🤗🤗

Nice place but reception staff not terribly welcoming and supplies a bit short in the accommodation such as toilet rolls and sufficient cooking implements.

We really have had a great holiday Lodge was beautiful so well equipped The hot tub was so nice just wish it was hotter ( it would be nice to have a choice to increase the heat) You do need an outdoor light hear the hot tub or on a sensor as it’s so dark to get out to the tub of a night The site was immaculate and facilities were lovely Mum and dad were in caravan they towed and their plot was lovely view The boat hire is a must very funny really enjoyed it Welcome pack was very nice touch We will be returning to this hidden gem

The location is lovely and the staff/crew were very friendly and helpful during our stay. The lodge itself (Gillingham) was quite new and spacious and the terrace had a nice amount of sun throughout the day. The bed linen and towels were lovely. My one big concern was/is about the standard of cleaning in our lodge. Upon entering the lodge we found dead flies and bugs almost everywhere (edges of carpet and under the beds...which indicates that the property had not been cleaned immediately before our arrival), along with living flies and spiders in the property. Some items in the kitchen/oven were dirty (and surfaces appeared to have been wiped with a dirty cloth) and the drain/plug in main bathroom shower tray was dirty with hair still attached from a previous guest. When moving the sofa away from the wall just before leaving (to check that we hadn’t left any toys behind), there were old balloons and dirt from a previous stay. I have contacted “Lisa” at The Waveney River Centre to let her know we were disappointed at the standard of cleaning in our lodge but have yet to receive an acknowledgement or reply. If the cleaning was more thorough, I would have given 5/5.

Fabulous, the camping pod was spotless and very cosy thanks to the lovely heater. We enjoyed the Waveney Inn, food was good. The kids loved the swimming pool. Overall the facilities here are great and we intend to keep coming back, whether glamping, camping or the lodges. Highly Recommend.

We had a mid week stay in the Leam Lodge, It was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. The hot tub was an added bonus as we spent many hours in it throughout our stay, The pool was good, warm and had a jacuzzi. We had drinks, snacks and a meal in the Waveney Inn. Food was lovely and was quite reasonably priced. On arrival, my wife checked us in and asked to use the toilet, she was directed to the Waveney Inn, It was drizzling at the time and had been all morning. When she came out of the pub, she slipped and fell on the decking. She hurt herself, so do watch out for the decking as there is lots around

We had a lovely stay at Waveney River Centre. The lodge was equipped with everthing we could need. There was even a washer/dryer, dishwasher, iron and hairdryer! The hot tub was very relaxing. The site was lovely and peaceful with lovely scenery. The on site inn does good food and has a pool table and a few games for children. There is a playground and a swimming pool on site. We went during Autumn when the weather was not great and the only suggestion I would make to improve this brilliant holiday centre is to have some more indoor activities for children . A big thank you to all the very helpful staff and we will see you again soon !
