1 year later and 2 week kitchen installation is still not finished.. shocking service and excuses. We’re on the fourth attempt to finish it and spending our own money.. no support from wickes at all.. it’s frankly disgusting

Bought an Orlando kitchen from Wicks handle from a cupboard missing chips to cupboards and screws missing. Trying to speak to someone at customer services is just a joke and waste of time. The whole debacle has been so stressful yet still no acknowledgement from Wicks. Avoid at all costs.

Customer service very poor. I am a single lady of slight older years just wanting to repair a couple of small outside rendering patches Apparently they are unable to help or reccomend a product, as it “ might not be suitable” but I can read the instructions !!! Train your staff To basic products. I was not wanting instructions to build a house !!! Will never shop here again .Awful experience.

I have been in the trade for nearly 50 years and this is the worst service I have had from any supplier ever. Do not rely on this company, its failure to deliver will cost you money in lost days' work - especially the Farnborough store! I wouldn't recommend them to an enemy, let alone a friend!

Do not buy WICKES TRADE INTERIOR WOOD PAINT SATIN WHITE. Ruined our doors causing dripping all down them, nothing would stop the drips even really thin layers wouldn't do it. I am going to go back into store and ask for a refund. Awful product.

An absolutely hopeless Company. Evidentially could not organise the proverbial in a Brewery. Wanted Gravel and Sand - reasonable quantity that qualified for "free" delivery. So "free" that in fact it is impossible to book a delivery slot. You can try at different times of the day and night - it seems to be always come back "tomorrow". Perhaps this is a Spanish Company after all instead of being part of the Travis Perkins Group?! I suppose the one saving grace is that it is not possible to pay without a delivery slot [assuming the delivery actually arrives] so at least Wickes saves themselves the bother of being accused of Theft, False Conversion and good old Fraud! Click and Collect seems to be impossible as a bag of gravel is a "2 person lift" and from reading the other reviews they probably do not have the stock. Whether the new Board of Directors appointed on the 23rd March will be able to do anything about it within the next 12 months is, IMHO, doubtful. Best avoid at all costs as the extra stress they will add to your project is not worth it. Unfortunately 1 star is the minimum possible award.

Absolute disgraceful delivery service and customer care service. 3x attempts at delivering materials to start a job, no email, text, or phonemail to say the deliveries wouldn't arrive, just left me waiting there on all occasions. Cost me over £600 in lost earnings due to deliveries not turning up and all I got back from customer services was "sorry but we won't be reimbursing you in any way for lost earnings". DO NOT USE THIS DELIVERY SERVICE.

Utter shambolic and disgraceful service from their store in Thurmaston from the Design Consultant to Customer Relations contact. One year on since we ordered our bathroom and their cowboy installer couldn't fit what was described as a basic, simple job, their customer services team couldn't fulfil their promise of delivering a new bath they promised and their reluctance to apologise for the shambles that has been is nothing short of a disgrace. They've taken our money and couldn't provide a service that they supposedly pride theirselves on.

The most appalling service we've ever experienced. Kitchen installation is now into 5 months and still not finished. We have sent in excess of 100 emails to get it sorted- they couldn't care less. Broken or damaged units , a third of the appliances broken down within weeks, damage to our property, very poor installation of what has been completed so far. We have battled with them for what appears to be forever to get no-where. DO NOT USE WICKES. I could upload pictures but the system would crash with the shear volume of them

Absolutely shocking service. We paid for a Saturday delivery last week and it didn’t arrive. Tried to call and eventually spoke to someone who said tracking said it was delivered - we were home all day and would have notice the size of it turning up! Impossible to get through to someone and whenever we were lucky enough we are told it’s been escalated (again and again) and someone will call by 4pm. This didn’t happen on any day despite being told this every day. A week has past, no-one has called. Messaged on FB in the end for the same response - asked for refund and now silence. So no item, no refund and no communication. What are we suppose to do now wickes??

Ordered paint 3 x 10lt Firstly delivered short. The delivered and damaged. Then opened up 1 if the other boxes which was used to deliver paint and that one broken. Ask me to photograph which would have just shown a blue bag inside. However I did nit open these two up until after the 30 days but never the less still delivered busted. Nothing they would do. I will avoid wickes now at all costs The adviser dud say maybe the shouldn't deliver paint. So maybe this happens regularly. Although paint cheaper at wickes with the broken pot it makes it more expensive. Just another lost customer not that they care.

We ordered some fence panels from Wickes. These were not delivered. We had no communication as to why and due to this we cancelled the order. I know now that the forklift truck broke on the day of delivery. We waited in but no phonecall to inform us. Had we have been told we would have understood and not cancelled. I still want the panels but not from Wickes however I have to wait for them to refund the money. We were considering Wickes to assist us with home improvements but taking into account our recent experience we will look elsewhere. Disappointing experience at best.

Just been to pick up items from Wickes Glossop firstly some of your treated timber I wanted was not available then many of the angle brackets shown on line were not there asking staff for help from staff was pretty useless But what made me really angry walking around the store was the amount of staff not wearing masks at least 50% without I then got served by the most offhand unhelpful ignorant young woman also not wearing a mask she came really very close to me to scan items and was offhand because I hadn't turned 2 items bar code up. She didn't seem to mind coming close to hand me receipts. All in all a disgusting experience Wickes.

Recently, I needed to buy some architrave, so I checked on the Wickes website for where they had it in stock and it showed the Catford branch had 15 packs. I drove all the way there but was disappointed to find, even though there was still 15 showing on their site, there were none to be found. The first store worker I asked was one of the least helpful people I've ever dealt with. He just looked completely irritated and shrugged and didn't want to help find out if there was any in the back or why there was this discrepancy. He just wasn't interested. Why on Earth are they paying this person if he can't even be bothered to do his job? The second person I went to, at the till, was equally unhelpful so I asked for the manager and he asked his colleague to look at the back and see if the architrave was there. This person came back and told me he couldn't find any and could not offer any explanation of why the website said there were 15 in stock. I asked him, to avoid me having another wasted journey, if he could call another nearby shop to see if they had some. When he called the Blackheath branch, they confirmed they had 3 in stock but they couldn't get to it, so were not able to sell it to me. In the end, after waiting nearly an hour in this useless shop, I gave up, went to B&Q instead and found the architrave I needed. Why I even bothered with Wickes in the first place is anyone's guess, as a similar thing happened a couple of weeks earlier with another product, which was showing plenty of stock on the website. However, when I arrived at the store, 10 minutes later, there was none there, even though it was still showing lots of availability on the Wickes website. Wickes is a total waste of time. Unhelpful, poorly trained staff, a website that isn't fit for purpose and a failure of organisation that is astonishing. I would advise anyone not to bother, unless you're absolutely desperate.

The most useless shop ever, Staff is not trained and have no clue of what they are selling. The most common answer you would probably get from them is : "I don't know..." It looks like most of them are employed to restock the aisle.. I decided to go to B&Q and ask the same question to a member of the staff and the difference is definitely there.. What a shame

Absolutely the worst level of service I've seen ever. Taking over 3 days to reply to cancellation emails (4 emails). Reply only after the product was out for delivery with pathetic excuses and replying afterwards within minutes, but your 1.3 stars out of 5 is not by mistake. Well done!

Spent £330 on decking which had to be delivered. Given delivery date, nothing arrived. Managed to find out by delivery company it was accidentally left off the lorry? Since then, I have been constantly telephoning Wickes to find out about my delivery and when it will arrive. Not one customer service team member has been helpful. One promised to call me back but no call. I still do not have my delivery and getting a bit frustrated with dealing with unhelpful Wickes customer service! I am wondering if I will ever get this order as I can't even get an answer from the delivery company now. Very very poor experience.

What went wrong? Hmmmmm all of it, front start to finish. I'm actually amazed at how wrong it all went. You would think it impossible to be that rubbish. Spoke to about 10 different people over 18 months of multiple issues and as a company, it's like pulling teeth. Do not use. Unless you enjoy disappointment

So we bought our kitchen in 2011 in Dudley, West Midlands from a coworker, Pedra. We have been going to the store constantly as our worktop which is the magna range has rotten due to moisture from the dishwasher. As a metal strip was not provided for our dishwasher which we didn't know of at that time. The coworkers in wickes kept taking our details down and said someone will get in contact with you or they will let Pedra know but yet again we did not hear from anyone which is absolutely appalling. This happened numerous of times within the guarantee. Then we got in touch with wickes customer services who requested photos of the rotten worktop. I did not hear from him either and his name was Daryl Hesketh. I kept emailing for a response to Daryl but again got ignored. Which is no surprise. Plus they do not write notes on their systems so we have to keep on repeating ourselves. Everyone we go to we keep going to we are getting ignored which is very time-wasting and frustrating. DO NOT BUY A KITCHEN FROM WICKES... Another customer service guy said once the kitchens are bought they don't care. Yes, This was his exact words which is 100% correct. I was shock he even said this but he is completely correct they just don't care. We went to the wickes store a couple of times again and the last time we went we were pointed by a wickes manager to a kitchen coworker named, John from Dudley wickes store. He first said he did not know we came in previously and then he says yes i have received and email from customer services about the worktop issue. I then said why did you not contact us then. ( he swearved the question ) so obviously he does remember us but they are being totally ignorant. John then claimed alot of customers had this issue back in the day when we bought our kitchen claiming that the metal worktop barrier to prevent moisture, was not a thing which i think again he was lying. He then said he will speak to an installer and ask for a special tape instead of a metal bar which he thinks is better for some reason. We have still not heard anything from him from that day l once again. The worktop guarantee has ended due to the fact of being ignored constantly, which for a well known company you would expect higher attention and resolving quickly. But they do not care at all. Absolutely very disappointed in the total experience and services from all aspects.
